We are preparing ourselves to become keepers of the bees this Spring. It's a quick read.

Did you know bees have 5 eyes? That the wax is expelled between folds of the abdomen, and that honey bees live about 2-6 weeks.

Interesting. The four books we read about bees were all worthwhile.

I am not a fan of bees, but the beginner reader who chose it, seemed to enjoy it. The photos are excellent, the book is educational and information conveyed with very few words. I guess that makes it an ideal book for someone who is struggling to learn to read.
