I love this book! Not only does it have an amazing rhyming scheme, but also includes a wonderful message. I would definitely use this book to teach kids about our janitors in the school and how much work they do for us. I would for sure use this as a read aloud in my class and would recommend this book to any 1st-5th grade classroom.

“At Lakeside School, I work each day to wipe each dab of dirt away.”

Bob’s work is never done, especially the gymnasium floor, as class after class leaves footprints.

This book teaches students about everything custodians do for us and how we can be kind and helpful to them.

Definitely amazing for a first grader.
Loved the "behind the scenes" idea of how the a sweeper works.
A much needed look at an often overlooked part of school life, in a beautiful way!
