Shirley Isherwood was born in Yorkshire but her family moved to London soon after her birth. She returned to the North of England just before the Second World War and began her working life as a dressmaker. Since starting to write, however, she refuses to even sew on a button! Shirley has written about thirty children's books and many series for children's television. Her books have been published in France, Germany, Spain, Sweden and America.

Pooooor Cathy & at first I didn’t like heathcliff or smth.An urchin?! Nun-uh.Buuuuuttttttt then I grew a soft spot for him and hated Edgar linton . Cathy changed and I pitied Heathcliff,Buttttttttttt tricking li’l Cathy was another step. In allllllll of my reading this is by far the most interesting and kinda cruel book I’ve ever read.Its soga soga*U gotta read it. Slayyyyy









*meaning so good so good but sounds better.

I like it. The book is great. And what an story! Cathy is perfect in all the ways.
I'd read the book in Spanish to understand all the story but it's amazing.
