A quote in enjoyed from this book is "Compiling." I like it because it reminds me of the memes where people at work are playing around, and their excuse is that they are compiling, because it takes forever.

This is a good book for people who are just starting out in C++. If you have prior knowledge of programming languages the first two chapters are just a review for you.
