Quick and Delicious: How To Fix Great Meals In Minutes

Before reading Quick and Delicious, I had never really opened up a cookbook before. I knew that a cookbook was what my mom used to make dinner and that was really it. I had very little interest in cooking. This book had me flipping through the pages. All the mouth watering food made my stomach rumble. From soups to salads this book has many delicious recipes.
One thing I liked about this cookbook was the variety of foods. Quick and delicious has recipes to prepare soups, fish, poultry, meat, pasta, desserts, and everything inbetween. Quick and Delicious even has a vegetable section! My favorite section though is the breads, cakes, and cookies section. This book has recipes for everything!
Quick and Delicious is also extremely helpful when cooking. In addition to giving you a list of ingredients and step by step instructions of how to prepare the food, Quick and Delicious has many other features. One example of this is how it provides you with the calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, cholesterol, and sodium per serving of the dish. Another is how the book tells you the preparation time and cooking time. The book also gives you a serving suggestion on what drink or occasion the particular meal goes great with.
Another thing I thought was very useful was the pictures. Many of the recipes had pictures of what the final product of the recipe looked like. When cooking this can be very important. When I want to cook a recipe I would judge if I want to make the food by how it looks in the picture not by the list of ingredients. That being said I think this cookbook should have had a picture for each recipe.
Quick and Delicious is chock full of recipes to make absolutely fantastic dishes. The culinary delights found in Quick and Delicious are to die for. Don’t just take my word for it though, read this cookbook yourself and maybe make a recipe while you’re at it.
