A little creepy, a lot of fantasy, a smidge of dread, an abundance of imagination—Moon Soup was another favorite for my little ones once upon a time!

Join in the fun when the protagonist wakes and decides to make moon soup. Gathering the ingredients is the key to making the soup, and the right atmosphere makes it taste even better.

This is one of my kids favorite picture books. They love to look at the pictures and pick out the odd things in them. The text is really rich, something you don't find in picture books. If you want something unusual, this is your book, but open your mind. This was an every night read with both of my boys. They loved to say the lines with us, "scoop a peachy sunset" is my favorite line.

Illustrations completely freak me out. Text is enjoyable but not worth the weirdness of the rest of the book.

Picture Book. The story was good. I thought the illustrations were odd though. The main character looks somewhat like an elf. It was okay.
