Being the CEO of Infinity Gaming means that I’ve got a lot on my plate - and I’m so close to success on this shifter dating app I can taste it. I’m hoping that my new developer can work miracles with this code… but I’m not prepared for the temptation he works on my heart.
Carter
I can’t believe I’m really here. Following Garrett’s career as a teenager is what inspired me to become a developer, and now I’ve literally got my dream job. So you’d think life would be perfect, right? But between my old boss being just a bit creepy about trying to get me to come back to work for him and my new boss being just a bit too attractive for his own good, I think it’s safe to say I’m stuck between a rock and a very hard place.
Taking a Chance is a standalone mpreg shifter book featuring corporate espionage, an accidental pregnancy, and of course, a HEA sure to make your heart swoon.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really enjoyed reading all the books in this boxset! One of my my favorite mm omegaverse shifter romance series!
Book 1 - 5/5 stars --Garrett Steele is an alpha wolf and CEO of Infinity Games, one of the country's top gaming companies. In need of a new developer to help design a secretive project, the HR department hires Carter Banks, a young and brilliant omega wolf who Garrett has been attracted to since the moment they met.
Being his boss, Garrett tries to deny his feeling and fight the attraction he feels for him to protect himself since his last relationship ended in heartbreak and betrayal.
I read this book all in one sitting! I couldn't put it down! The twist was subtle and you catch it really early on, but it in no way took away from the emotional impact and the tension building in the story.
Book 2 - 5/5 stars --A Fighting Chance is the second book in the Hunter's Haven series, and it is another great book! It was just as good as the first book and can be read as a standalone, but I would highly recommend reading the first book!
Rob Wilkins is a man who has trust and commitment issues. Raised by a single mother, his father abandoned him and his mother at a young age, and he had to take care of his heartbroken, depressed mother after her mate left them.
He grew up watching her live as a shell of her former self. He swore that he would never take a mate, lest he go through the same pain as his mother— then he meets Jonah and discovers the man is his mate. Terrified by this, he tries to protect himself by distancing himself, but it doesn't work. He's fallen in love with him.
Jonah is definitely my favorite. The first sentence in his POV is literally "if looks could kill, I'd be a murderer three times over." He's funny, and I love his inner monologs —especially when he's cursing at people in his head and shit talking them. 😂 The banter between the two mmc Rob and Jonah kept things interesting and entertaining.
Book 3 - 5/5 stars --Every book in this series keeps getting better and better, and every time, I wish these novellas were longer because it's just so good!
— Enemies to lovers — Fated mates — Workplace Rivals — mpreg — wolf shifters — angst
Aidan and Micah are YouTube rivals— they're both competitive gaming YouTube channels that are confidant that they will reach 10 million subscribers before the other.
After Aidan branches off from gaming to showcase his friend's dating app it sets off a change of events that lead Aidan and Micah to a debate on whether or not the dating app actually works in finding their true mates— and they end of being matched!
Book 4 - 3/5 stars --Worth The Chance is the 4th book in the Hunter's Haven series, although this can be read as a standalone.
This book follows the start of a relationship between Tyler and Liam, who discover that they are mates. They both struggle with control issues that almost destroy their relationship. Tyler isn't a typical omega. He's headstrong, stubborn, and too independent to allow his alpha Liam to call all the shots. They learn they both must compromise if their relationship is to survive.
This book was okay, although I didn't enjoy it as much as the others. Their characters were well washed out, but it felt a little flat to me. There were some really good parts, though.
Book 5 - 3/5 stars --This is the final book in the Hunter's Haven series. This couple had fewer obstacles to overcome before they got together. Jake and Adam were old friends, and when Adam comes back from the war, he and Jake reunite and hit it off and soon discover they are mates.
It was good, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the others. The obstacles and issues they have to overcome to be together are what makes this series great, and this one fell a little flat for me.
I clearly started reading this Author’s books in the wrong order. I started with Howling Hills, then Furbidden Falls, and now this one. I guess Furbidden Falls was the first, follow by Howling Hill, and then Hunter’s Haven. I can see some progress, but I don’t like that some things change with not explanations what so ever; like the fact that in previous books Claiming a Mate or biting them while pregnant could put the baby’s and mate’s life in danger, while here is all good and dandy, and how in previous books shifting to wolf form while pregnant could also put the baby’s life in danger, but here is also ok and normal to do it. It’d have been fine if the stories, time and towns where not connected but they are, even in this series, they mention Howling Hills. I’m not sure if it was a typo but they definitely mention it, and it looks like it’s all happening now in the 21st century, with all the social media, and video game culture. I also cannot stand the fact that the gestation period for the pregnancies have not yet been explained even after 3 entire series. They keep on talking about following a wolf cycle, of 9 to 10 weeks or 2 and 1/2 months, with quick, few hours labors, while in previous books some of them followed a 9 months pregnancy with 12 hours labors. I was pretty confused because Howling Hills and Furbidden Falls are directly connected, with a character from one series being the sibling of a character from the other series, and nothing gets explained, not even in this one. In my confusion I had to assume and come to the conclusion that maybe, since they are half wolf and half human, pregnancies can go either way, but not because the author gave any information or indicated anything in all THREE series. Something so simple but crucial to the plot, that could have been explained in a sentence, I had to guess and hope that I was correct. Something so emphasized throughout the plot, and that is directly related to basically what this fantasy world is all about (alphas and omegas, and how Omegas not matter the gender, as long as they find their fated mate and get “knotted” can get pregnant and give birth) is not explained or given enough information about, leaving a big hole in the plot. It’s extremely disappointing because I said before and I honestly believe this have a lot of potential, and the characters and stories are good and likable, but I don’t know if I can continue reading more hoping it gets better. I really hate that I may never know for sure because I don’t know if I want to continue reading from this author. This just may be my last one.
i read this box set as part of an arc program. This set included the whole Hunter's Haven series, which includes Taking a Chance, Fighting a chance, Left to Chance, Worth the chance and Chance of a Lifetime.

But during the date, Jake's heat comes on and Adam takes him home to care for him. Being in close quarters together, they can't fight their attraction to one another.

A great collection about five friends who each whether they are looking or not, find their fated mates. Worth the Chance Liam and Tyler had one date through the Mates.com app,. but Liam backed away from a second. Tyler is definitely attracted - so how will he cope with having to work with Liam? Liam has been hurt, and is not looking for a mate - he is very much a one night stand kinda guy. Will Tyler manage to change that? Should he? Chance of a Lifetime Jake is the last of his pack to be seeking his mate - all of the others have found theirs through Mates.com, an ap set up by two of their members. When Adam comes home, Jake remembers why they were best friends - and why even after all their years apart, there is still something there. But Adam is not sure - and feels insecure - he doesnt have a job, cant support a mate - excuses that seem to work, until they go on a double date , and Jake comes into heat. The thought that another man could touch him fires Adam, and he takes him home to keep him safe. Will they be able to overcome the obstacles in their way? Will they have their HEA? I have loved each and every story in this series! Each is great as a stand alone, and even better when enjoyed as a complete set!

Book 1 Taking a Chance: 4.5 stars Garrett has trust issues and I don't blame him. He has an immediate attraction to Carter has him on the defense. Carter is a bit in awe of his idol of several years but I liked that he quickly sees the real man. It made me cheer that Garrett always saw Carter as an equal and acknowledged that. There's a bit of cloak and dagger, lots of spicy moments and the ending is just sweet.
Book 2 A Fighting Chance 4.5 stars. Rob's childhood has left him damaged. He is sure that love is not real, not something he wants and isn't going to give in to. Finding his fated mate has him confronting all of his fears and he struggles. Jonah is excited to have found his mate and wants it all with Rob. I was proud of him for standing up for himself and not just standing around waiting for Rob to take the lead. I liked that Rob's pack didn't hold back but gave him the truth about his actions. Lovely ending.
Book 3 Left to Chance 5 stars A friendly rivalry between Micah and Aiden spills over. A couple of gamers debating the merits of a dating app boosts numbers for both of their channels with unexpected results. Micah has lived a life without love and doesn't know what to do with it when it shows up. Sure that eventually, Aiden will realize he isn't worthy of love just like everyone else has, he sabotages their relationship. I like that the pack is all there to support Aiden as he deals with his broken heart and are the first ones to help him fix things. I loved that in the end not only does Micah gain a family but a pack that accepts him with open arms.
Book 4 Worth the Chance 5 stars Liam, what a player! Sure that as long as he doesn't care he won't be risking his heart, but being matched with Tyler makes him feel things. I had to shake my head at both these guys. Stubborn and controlling are apt descriptions. Tyler falls back on his role as an omega only for the resentment to build to the breaking point. I felt bad for Liam as he was following is own role as alpha. I was impressed when he comes back to Tyler ready to actually listen and make accommodations so their relationship will work for both of them. It takes a bit and a lot of work but both Liam and Tyler learn what it takes to be a partner. I loved the ending.
Book 5 Chance of a Lifetime 5 stars This is my favorite of the series. A second chance romance with appearances from all the past heroes and their families. Jake and Adam don't cling to their conceptions of what their lives 'should be' but, with some pointed discussion, realize that as long as they face things together that is all that matters. I liked how Jake grows from shy and unsure to confident enough to speak up and fight for what is best for them. He keeps fighting until Adam sees that he doesn't have to fill a certain roll in order to be the alpha. These guys really find a way to work together building a life and family.
Recommended author and series Audiobooks: Mr. Bordeaux does a great job of narrating. He's very clear and has a nice easy cadence.
Taking A Chance: When your baggage gets so heavy it slows movement, set it down! Really nice quick story. Garrett has large baggage that prevents him from trusting others. He hires, Carter to help with a project. While testing, they enjoy a fast paced competition that allows them to get to know each other. Enter Garrett's ex who tries to throw a wrench at Garrett. Can he finally set his baggage down? Can Garrett finally open himself to Carter? Is Carter still interested? Mr Kingsley brought the humor and fun to this story. Garrett and Carter were absolutely delightful Good job!
A Fighting Chance: Mr Kingsley writes the best series. Delicious! Rob as the Prime Alpha is happy his friends are finding their mates and expanding the pack with children. He has large commitment baggage. Jonah, Omega working in the pub is crushing on Rob. They both signed up with the dating app and surprisingly are matched to each other. They both are gun shy while also attracted to each other. Mr K creates the best MC and Rob and Jonah are engaging while challenging. You are hoping both are willing to store their baggage in lockers and throw away the keys. Excellent story.
Left To Chance: Too funny! When doing the right thing is not always the right thing. Couldn't have happened to nicer guys. Unexpected complexities make a courtship that much better. Nice to see Garrett and Carter still going strong. The competition between Micah and Aiden is off the hook delicious. The character development is tight. The storyline is fun and fulfilling. You hope for the best but don't want the story to end. I absolutely enjoyed this story.
Worth The Chance: Dost they protest too much? We have two men, Liam is gun shy and Tyler is open to relationships. How do you make that work? Will Liam open himsself up? Can he see a heart 1/2 open/empty? Can these men find their brave souls and open up to possibilities? Absolutely nice story. Still meeting the high bar.
Chance of A Lifetime: All's well that ends well! Jake, last of the pack still single. He gave his heart to Adam when they were in school. Adam left and joined the military. Adam, Alpha in closet but not really. In special forces returns home only because Jake is there. They secretly in love with each other but don't express their feelings for each other. Jake helps Adam join the dating app and realizes he doesn't like the idea. Then they go on a double date. The funniest thing I ever read! This is a really nice conclusion to the series. We get to read Jake's story and it is worth the wait. Excellent story.
It was a pleasure to read this splendid, heartwarming MM shifter romance bundle. The story-lines & plots are well-written, interesting & at times quite suspenseful. The well-developed characters have distinctive, individual personalities that display believable emotional feelings. Worth The Chance: It is about: a playboy alpha (Liam) who has been emotional hurt in the past & an independent omega (Tyler) who has always been let down/disappointed by everyone. There is: wolf shifters, friendship, some drama, attractions, friendly manipulations, confrontation, frustration, confusion, memories, friendly advice, heat issues, complications, heartache, compromises, love, happiness, steamy scenes & a wonderful ending. Chance Of A Lifetime: “This delightful MM shifter romance has an undertone of “friends to lovers” It is about: a rather insecure male omega (Jake) who is virtually the last wolf shifter in his pack without a mate then his best friend & alpha returns from the military after 10yrs (Adam) There is: wolf shifters, packmates, friendship, shock, strange attractions, misunderstandings, jealousy, fantasies, discovery, fated mates, reservations, vulnerabilities, compromises, contentment, love, happiness, steamy scenes & a happy conclusion.
Taking a Chance Garrett was not only hurt emotionally by a previous lover, he was betrayed professionally. Carter is beyond thrilled to work for Garrett and followed his career for years. Garrett lets his pain Nick any chance at future happiness. Carter is adorable and very smart. Their dynamic is intense.
A Fighting Chance 5* Rob is Alpha and signs up for the dating app after his pack continues to question him about it. He sets himself up to fail in the most spectacular way. Jonah is hooked on Rob but does not realize how much until Rob starts bringing dates into the bar where he works. Rob has some serious issues about relationships and being close to anyone. A great read.
Left to Chance Micah and Aiden are online gamer rivals, each vying to increase their viewers. Aiden posts a review about Mates.com, and Micah cannot stop himself from commenting. Their rivalry is awesome and their attraction evident, even to their viewers. Micah is not ready to believe in mates nor can he express what he is really feeling.
Worth the Chance Alpha Liam will only have casual hookups because of a past hurt. Omega Tyler will not give up any control in his life, refused to rely on anyone else. Their attraction to one another is difficult for both of them. They must each face and overcome their issues before any future.
Chance of a Lifetime Adam and Jake were best friends in school. Adam left to serve in the military and, they lost contact. Jake cannot seem to find an Alpha he connects with and is too shy to open up. There is definitely some miscommunication and lack thereof, but I enjoyed how everything played out between them.

In this series, we get to see a couple different couples and their journey while finding their fates mates as well as getting to know all of them threw out the books as they appear in each story which i really like. I enjoyed the fact that these mates discover each other threw the mates.com app on the shifters hidden side of the app it was interesting and fun. Also that they were nerds at heart with all their coding and developing lol. I;m nearing the end if Im being honest I;ve read most of it, and i gotta say as much as the first story was exciting and sweet, Robs story is my favorite so far i think a lot of you will enjoy getting to know him and his fated mate, i was rooting for them! Within these pages you will find humor, angst, steam. The stories and characters are interesting, entertaining and fun. And now that they can all be found in this one bundle, it's even better... built in binge reading!
I received an advanced reader's copy of the bundle and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
Hunter's Haven is a small community of many shifters, especially a group of 5 friends - wolf shifter alpha and omegas. Good friends, nothing more. One of them is a game developer and one day he starts developing a dating app - but with a special level to have shifters find their true mates.... This collection describes the way the app works one way or another to bring these friends to their fated mate - but accepting their fate easily? That is a different story. All stories here are unique in how they find their mate and the problems they face. If you like alpha / omega stories, this is a wonderful collection to get into the stories around Hunter's Haven. Comfortable, easy read with little angst, interesting characters and sweet romance.
It is pretty much standard for the genre and I enjoyed reading it. A series about five pack members who use a new shifter dating app designed by members of the pack and how it works out for each of them. (I think the HEA is guaranteed).
Admittedly some of the stories felt a bit rushed and there was a lot of hand wringing and stressing about commitment which was suddenly resolved very quickly which frustrated me a bit. Plus there wasn't much opportunity to really get to know the different characters, they was a lot more that could have been fleshed out.
This is a five book series in which every book is stand alone but intertwined. The series is about five friends who are wolf shifters and a pack. One of them, Garrett, is a CEO of a gaming company and starts a dating app for shifters. He guarantees that shifters will find their mates. He gets the other four to try the app. H.e tells them if they're truthful on the application form that they will definitely find their mates. None of the four believe that it's true but fill out the forms. It's then that the fun begins. I really enjoyed this series.
I think this is a great start to a wonderful series! This one is about the owner of a gaming franchise that wants to branch out. Garret is a good guy and he is afraid to share his heart when he meets his new employee Carter. The author takes you into them falling in love and the hurdle they have to overcome before they get their happily ever after. This is a sweet story about two shifters and they are just the first two! I can't wait to read all of the books!
