I want to do every project in this book. They are all gorgeous. Trish's books just keep getting better and better. Some of the threads may be hard to find in the US, but she offers substitutes and for the most part you can use DMC and Appleton wool threads. I can't wait to finish my other crewel projects, so I can start one of these.

This book begins with a clear explanation of the stitches and motifs used in crewel embroidery. The font is large and the information is laid out in short concise paragraphs -- enough to be informative without being cumbersome. The rest of the book consists of beautiful floral patterns and detailed instructions with some photo inserts of the trickier parts.
