3 stars. Cute, and teaches small children about the life cycle of butterflies. Picked this up strictly for sentimental reasons because we had this when I was a kid and we care for two Monarch butterflies in past years. :)

This book is a cute picture book. I would use this as a past time for my kids to read when they are done with work.
