14 books9 followersStanka Gjurić is noted Croatian author with 20 published books. She is a member of the Croatian Writers Society, and the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Diaspora.
Her poems are published in many anthologies
and collections, and in 1988 in Santa Cruz (California) her poems were published in the American Anthology of World Love Poetry.
In February 2014, she was bringing the news into her creativity and publishes the video collection 'Selected poems, and new ones' on YouTube.
Stanka is the author of literary column in many daily
and weekly newspapers.
Along with many of her interests (acting on film, TV directorship), 2006 she started to make short films, and achieves remarkable success as an independent filmmaker.
With one of her most successful film "Battle Thoughts" (on the topic: mines in Croatia) she has participated in many Film festivals abroad: (Canada, Greece, France, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, BiH, etc.) and received many awards.

Rijetko se može pročitati tako dobra knjiga eseja, dapače odlična.
Preporučam svakome tko voli lirske eseje, gotovo poeziju,
ali čitku, razumljivu, čarobnu. Ova knjiga, koliko god bila najzanimljivija ženama,
ostavit ce dojam na svakog muškarca, jer se u njoj o njima itekako mnogo govori.
