Clover’s life was perfect a year ago. He’d found four men to love, each essential to making him whole. Each one of them tough in their own way, part of a crew of mercenaries living on the wrong side of the law.
Tank was his loving Daddy, Pyro the wild one always pulling him into mischief, Boar taught him how to cook, and Drake showed him how to use knives in a wholly different fashion.
All Clover wanted was to finally be an equal in the group. So he trained, he pushed, and risked, but when real danger stared him in the face, he broke like a twig.
Now, with one of his lovers taken, Clover can’t find a way back to his former self. Each of the relationships they’d so meticulously built is fractured, and might never be the same.
If their group is to ever be whole again, Clover needs to find the courage he’s lost, but that means facing the monster who scarred him, and truths none of his men want to confront.

K. A. Merikan is a duo of queer writers who don’t believe in following the well-trodden path. In their books you can dip your toe into dangerous romance with mafiosi, outlaw bikers and bad boys, all from the safety of your sofa. They love the weird and wonderful, stepping out of the box, and bending stereotypes both in life and in fiction. Their stories don’t shy away from exploring the darker side of M/M romance, and feature a variety of anti-heroes, rebels, misfits, and underdogs who go against the grain. Be prepared for shocking twists, dark humor, raw emotions, and sizzling hot scenes.
K.A. Merikan also writes steamy M/M romcoms as Devon Doe.
Going into this final instalment I had no idea what to expect.Trust these Authors to turn all the madness and chaos into something that turned out to be romantic in a way.
With Boar still missing to say things are at breaking point is an understatement. But at the centre of everything is Clover doing his best to try and hold things together for these men.
Relationships are tested to the limit as the men try and come to terms with recent events but I was never in doubt they would all come out the other side.
And hello....Drake and Tank!! I was totally waiting for that to happen and it was beautifully written. It wasn't just sex at all.
It's always sad when a series ends and you have to say goodbye to characters you've grown to love but I'm so glad I went on this crazy journey with these guys.
No-one writes this kind of twisted, deliciously filthy, utterly insane and beautifully romantic stories quite like Kat and Agnes.
I have to say I was worried with where things had been left at the end of book two. Boar was missing, Clover and Drake were dealing with the aftermath of what they'd been forced into, Pyro was self destructing and Tank couldn't see a way out of the mess.
Of course, I knew all would work out in the end but never in my wildest imaginations could I have foreseen where this book would go.
It's a headrush for all the right reasons, the pace never falters and the action never stops until the glorious moment at the end where all becomes right in the world again.
Utter brilliance.

It’s always a huge relief when the conclusion of a favorite book series ends up being my favorite part. Especially when it’s all about the same protagonists. And here, the MCs were five, so the risk of everything falling apart was even bigger. Clover and his men won me over slowly but steadily, with every book being better than the previous one.
Bear in mind that this review contains spoilers for the first two books. If you haven’t read them and you don’t want to be spoiled, don’t read any further.
I loved so many things about this but my favorite part was all the tension in the first part. So much relationship angst! Boar is missing for four months now and everything is so f@cked up! Pyro has gone off the rails. His relationship with Clover is messed up. Drake disappears for large chunks of time avoiding everyone. His relationship with Clover is strained to say the least. Tank is the only steady presence here, trying to (unsuccessfully) make things right again.
So yes, there is guilt, hurt feelings, blaming and hate sex all around and it really made this a winner for me. But the biggest and very welcome surprise was Tank and Drake. I knew there had to be something between them. All this tension!!! And I was right .
My favorite thing about the whole series is that all the guys get their HEA together, but that same HEA is very unique for each of them. In the end, after four books, everyone wins but nobody loses himself.
Loved this ! Love the series, the dynamic and the evolving emotional aspect. These guys are like onions - each adventure has a new layer peeled away. There is certainly some vulnerability happening so I can’t wait for the next one .... oh and it’s a pretty hot read too !
I know I've said it before, but I can't help it... This series is the best I've read from K.A. Merikan (and I should play it safe this time, and add "...so far")! Okay, the best so far.
Damn, these characters. Each man unique, and all the dynamics between them in pairs, as threesomes, and all five together - just YES. So good.
Non-stop action, amazing and exciting, and completely unique. I highly recommend this series. Word to the wise though, just buy them all because once you start you aren't going to want to wait to continue.
And a huge BONUS, do it in audio! Wyatt Baker is superdupersplendiforous!
I really love the characters in this series, and I love menage relationships and MMM or MMMM (havent read anything bigger than that), but I don't think that harem is for me. I loved this one because it is essentially 2 separate couples joined together by the same third. And I loved the group sex when they are all 5 together, especially the epilogue. Wow! But I would have loved to see more of Drake and Tank together.
I don't think I will read any more harem romances unless they are written by Kat and Agnes, but I will look into finding more MMMM or MMMMM where they are all truly together, or at least more along the lines of this one, where it blurs the lines between harem and true menage.
Before I started reading this book I knew to get ready for a world of pain and heartbreak. And I was right ,because it's not easy to see the devastation loosing Boar has caused to the once close knit group of mercenaries.
Each of them are ripped apart by guilt and deal with the loss in their own, sometimes destructive, ways. They only now realize just how much Boar's kind, goofy and caring personality glued all of them together. Finding him is imperative, because only with him back they could start trying to fix the broken pieces of their lives and hearts.
I've held my breath all through the story, uncertain of the outcome. Would they find Boar? And if they did find him, could they forgive themselves and each other and go back to how things were before Boar was taken? What about Apollo,is there a way to take him down and make sure no one else would be looking for Clover?
Finding the answers to these questions was a thrilling and exciting reading experience. Doubts, insecurities, so many strong emotions at play:fear, hope, hate, need, despair and most of all,so much love. Because even in the darkest of moments and at their lowest, these men never stopped caring, their love for each other the only certainty.
I'm sorry to see the end to the Four Mercenaries series. The fast paced plot, the bond between the five characters and all the hot action, there was never a boring page in all of the books. And,certainly unconventional, Clover's relationship with Tank,Drake,Pyro and Boar is nonetheless beautiful. I loved the fact that up until the end they never stopped learning about each other and about themselves, their feelings for one another ever transforming and growing. Put through the wringer, beaten and suffering...but never broken, coming out of their trials stronger because they're together.
If you still have doubts about picking up this series, lose them. Because ultimately, what will reach from the pages is fierce, intense, unwavering LOVE.
I would have preferred to have more in depth and satisfying resolutions to some of the inner conflicts of the various relationships in the polycule but overall it was still pretty satisfying.
I especially loved Bear and Pyro's reunion (it was driving me insane to see Pyro in such a state), and Drake and Tank 😍 I was waiting for it and I loved that I got it!
If there are any of you that haven’t read this series, you need to be aware, this is a polyromance story and it is very dark in many ways. It will probably have triggers for some people. The themes in the blurb, that’s just a small part of things going on in this book. Please be careful if things are a trigger for you. If you have read this series, or have read the books up to this point, you know some things in book 2 went down and have left this group in a mess. Boar is still missing, none of them knowing if he’s dead or alive, Pyro has dropped back into drugs and alcohol to try to cope with Boar being gone, Drake keeps disappearing because he can’t deal with what happened, Clover and Drake both have PTSD, and Tank is trying to hold everyone together and feels like a failure because he can’t. And for Pyro to try to cope as well, he’s taken to fighting in illegal fights. Clover is trying to be there for everyone and be the person who he has always wanted to be for them, but with everyone fracturing, he can’t do it. And all he feels like is a failure himself, because just thinking about the evil man who hurt him and Drake, makes him want to pee himself. But if anything is ever going to go back to normal, Clover needs to find himself again. And get everyone back to the way it was. Man, I don’t know who breaks me more in this series and especially in this book. It is a rough story to read. I’m serious. It’s very dark and not for the light hearted. The things these guys have been through, the ways they are trying to cope, the PTSD after everything is said and done…..it’s unbelievable. It’s heartbreaking. It almost reminds me of military veterans after coming back from a war, to a point. The things they go through, what they see and feel. It’s horrifying. So in this book, it’s a tossup at who to hurt for the most. It’s just one thing after another. And the sad truth, is they’ve all been through different things, except for Drake and Clover. And Boar. What they’ve been through is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone, except for someone truly evil. They would deserve it. The one thing though, that kept things going, even when it got down to the bottom of the barrel, was that even with all Clover had been through, he still tried to keep up hope and keep everyone going. He’s trying to keep up hope, even when he feels like giving up. When he feels like crying or peeing his pants in fear, he still tries to be there for everyone else and keep them strong. And that takes strength like no other. It’s been a good series. But it’s been a tough one. It felt like I felt everything they did, ya know? It made me cry, laugh at their antics and rage at their abusers. But happy when it was all ok again. Even with all the work they were going to have to do to get back to normal.
Received an ARC copy from the author in return for an honest review.
I’m SPEECHLESS!!!! K.A.Merikan has ended this series so perfectly with this book. They have once again done an amazing job of developing each relationship separately but also as a whole. I love me so good angst and this series has it in spades!! I absolutely love how seperate and different Clover’s relationship with Boar and Pyro is to his with Tank and Drake. It’s such a unique series in that not all the main characters are ‘together’ in a romantic relationship but it somehow all pulls together to work perfectly. If anyone could pull of something like it, it is definitely K.A. Merikan.
*Spoiler ahead*
I almost screamed out in happiness when Drake and Tank sorted their stuff out and realised their feelings for each other! I was rooting for them for the start and I got my wish and I couldn’t be HAPPIER!! 😂
This series has everything I love in a multiple partners book. It has angst, misunderstandings, fights (and making up 😍), friendship and don’t forget the absolutely scorching HOT 🥵🔥🔥 dirty SEX!!!! ABSOLUTELY at the top of my list for multiple partner books now. Keep up the amazing work K.A. Merikan and I can’t wait to read what you have coming next!!

After the end of Their Obsession, book 2 in the Four Mercenaries series, I was impatiently expecting this book and It didn’t disappoint me.
The team is broken after their encounter with Apollo and Boar's kidnapping. They're broken, Clover tries is best to keep them all united but between Tank worrying about their future, Pyro spiraling in a world of drugs, alcohol and violence since he lost Boar and Drake's disappearance out of guilt, their united family is broken. The only thing that keep them going is to find Boar.
I adored this book, I read it in one night, I couldn't put it down, I was with them, tracking Boar, fighting their past and their demons. K.A Merikan gave us an amazing book, well written and captivating.
I highly recommend this series, It sexy, funny, intriguing, captivating with lot of actions. The end was epic and the epilogue fabulous.
A Great end to a fantastic book series, just like all the other books Their Property had me on the edge of my seat from the very first chapter to the last page I was truly taken on a rollercoaster of emotions.
Surprisingly despite all of Pyros faults and his actions as a result of his addiction him and Boar were my favourite characters in this book as you properly understood how much love they have for each other, they have a beautiful complex relationship and I would have liked to have seen more of it.
Again I can’t give this book five stars as the spelling mistakes really throw me off at times.
This was the perfect t ending to this series... I loved all the men and Clover with them ... I like how they found the closer and happiness they deserved ... I also liked how you saw growth with all these characters as well over the three books ... Hats off to these two amazing authors !!
This is book three in the Four Mercenaries series. I absolutely loved the previous two books so my expectations were high for this story.
I loved everything about this story. The angst and the hot sexy scenes was there..I was so rooting that Clover and his men would get a happy ever after. These authors put my heart through the wringer and I loved every second of it.
Final book in the 'Four Mercenaries' trilogy... and I absolutely loved it! 😍 A dark & twisted story with crazy, unbelievable & awesome action *and* deliciously hot & filthy sex... and at the same time a beautiful and romantic love story. Really... what's not to love?? 😃 Together those books are a solid 5 star read for me. I've never read a M/M reverse harem story before. The life style and the relationships of Clover and his guys Tank, Drake, Boar & Pyro felt 'normal & natural'... although heavy concentrated on the sex 😜 despite all the awful shit that happened to them. LOVED everything about it! A relationship between 5 guys (very different men but all complementing each other), without any jealousy... amazing! Maybe the way Clover was cherished and pampered by all the guys even made me a little jealous? 😉
This is the last in the Four Mercenaries Series and IMHO it is the BEST!!! You really need to read the first two books first so this book makes sense. This is a Dark Gay Harem Romance - and that's exactly what you will find inside the cover. The characters are: Clover - lovely albino boy who all the guys love; Tank - big, bad Daddy and leader of the group; Drake - dark and brooding who smells like tobacco and angst; Pyro - crazy and insane with green flame tattoo eyebrows; Boar - extra large man Teddy bear.
This book picks up where the second book ends. Boar is still missing and the group is really suffering his loss. Their relationships are really suffering. Especially Pyro, who has begun very destructive behavior of drugs and illegal fights. Clover is trying his best to be there for the guys, but with Boar gone it isn't easy. No spoilers as to how, but obviously Boar is returned to the group. He's got a lot of healing to do, both physically and mentally, but the group is finally back together. It's going to take time for things to settle down though. There is still one very important mission to complete before they can really relax and begin to heal. Probably one of the most dangerous missions, but necessary to their security.
You can expect lots of sexy time between Clover and his guys. He loves to be naked and love on all of his guys, get spankings, and just what you would expect from a harem!! Love, love, love Clover and all of his men!! Even though this series is over, I hope we hear from them all again!!
Their Property is the 3rd and final installment of the Four Mercenaries series by KA Merikan. In the first two books, I feel in love with the 5 men featured in this series - Daddy Tank, brooding Drake, zany Pyro, teddy bear Boar, and the beautiful and needy Clover. I really enjoy how they all love and care for Clover and each other in their own ways. These boys are the true definition of found family.
This book opens where the last left off -- Boar is still missing, Drake and Clover are recovering from their captivity and torture, Pyro is going off the deep end, and poor Tank is desperately trying to keep his family together. However, despite Clover and Tank's best efforts, their family is deeply fractured. The only thing holding them together is their need to find Boar. It was almost hard to read the first half of this book because what I loved most about the first 2 books (how this found family was so tight) was gone.
I don't want to give away the plot, but know that these men learn to deal with their physical and mental pain both recent and past, which eventually binds them even more. Can I just say how awesome it was that Tank and Drake finally resolved their tension???
As usual with KA Merikan, the road to the happily-ever-after is paved in blood, bodies and pain. This book was full of danger, suspense and action, but also intense and raw emotions and filthy sex which made for an amazing read. This one may have been the best of the 3!

KA Merikan's Their Property, the third book in the Four Mercenaries series, picks up where Their Obsession leaves off. When we catch up with the Mercenaries, Boar is still missing and Clover's trying to care for Pyro.
Omg, this story killed me. The spiral, the drugs, the anger, the despair. And then it gets even worse. Boar's time since he's been missing is horrible, and that's just the start.
Th author expertly entwines complex men, tragedy, danger, suspense, and sex. It's messy, it's complicated, it's steamy, and it's absolutely riveting. And, of course, despite anticipating the ending, the author continues to throw in twists and turns that will keep you guessing throughout.
Overall, the series is heavy on the emotional and physical pain. And as for the group of men together, let's just say it's heavy and intense on the want and need. At times there's some amazing tenderness between the men. But best of all is watching the changes between Drake and Tank.
Their Property is a dark polymerous love story, full of growing connections as the men continue to bare their souls to one another. It's a complex story full of guilt, grief, and fear. And it's positively delicious! Put some time aside for this one, as you won't want to put it down.
A fantastic round up to the series! If you haven't read the first 2 books in this series, I highly recommend going back and reading them, as they will give you a better understanding of the characters and what led them to the situation they are in at the start of this book.
As for the book itself...wow! First off, some freaking fantastic sex scenes in this book, as I have come to expect from Merikan's books. They are always so hot, emotional and make you feel some of what the characters are going through, as they are so well described. The story as well is great. Kept me on the edge of my seat and desperate to find out what happened next!
All in all, a perfect end to the series, along with a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. Another wonderful addition to the Merikan catalogue!
What an ending to a great series, pure hot smut and at some points very dark story, but gritty and compelling, you have to finish the series.
Four Mercenaries, Tank, Pyro, Boar and Drake. These guys take on the jobs that others shy away from, and their main targets are child traffickers, the scum of the earth.
Clover and the guys go through hell in this series, and this book is no different. I have to say the author keeps you balancing on edge all the way through, excellent writing.
Such great characters, and I love how Clover adapts to his surroundings and knows how to persuade older men to get his way, let's just say daddy/boy. The sex is hot hot hot.
The narration was first class, great character voices, and it sold the story to me. Plus, as always, hot sex scenes are throughout the book. Have I said that before... We finally get our HEA.
Their Property Four Mercenaries Trilogy, Book 3 By: K.A. Merikan Narrated by: Wyatt Baker Series: Four Mercenaries Series, Book 3 Length: 7 hrs and 14 mins
❤❤❤❤❤ Overall 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧 Narration 📚📚📚📚📚 Story Read at 1.25 speed on Audible
After finishing the second book I had to rush to book three, because Boar is gone and the gang is in disarray with guilt eating them up along with anger from Pyro. It's impossible not to feel for Pyro, even after the trouble he causes, because his insecurities around Clover still stands from before, and feeling lost without his anchor to keep him still digs at him.
There's a lot of trust to build up in this book, and friendships to save. Boar had a bigger part in their lives than they realised and the need to get him back is even stronger. And maybe our jellybean Drake will find somewhere to belong as well..
OMG this whole series has been an amazing. I am sad that this is the last book but this is definitely perfect ending for these guys. This is a dark and twisted story that I just love from K.A. Merikan. This story had me at the edge of my seat and I need to know what was going to happen to all these guys that I started to love. Amazing ending!
-Standing ovation- Bravo, bravo! It's been like watching a action film, fast paced, vibrant, intense and hight erotic. Of those that make you stop everything and read with heart in throat while holding the breath (it's insane I know!) . So it's useless speak about Clover and his four lovers , do you read the book , right now!
this was amazing and sexy and so much fun.. it was interesting and not the normal read.. i enjoy a good reverse harem.. i loved the angst and the love... the pain and the happiness.. it is all wonderful
Just like the whole series, the grand finale made my hold my breath for unhealthy periods of time. I loved everything about the story, the characters and the overall feel of it. It holds up the amazing qualities of previous parts and is an awesome conclusion to an amazing journey.
Such a fabulous conclusion to this trilogy. I loved everyone’s happily ever after and Drake and Tank finally getting the ending they deserved. So sad this series is over.
