The Escort

Rate this book
Brielle

Sometimes life doesn’t go as planned. Mine certainly didn’t. One moment, I was going off to NYU on a fully paid scholarship, and the next, I had become something I never thought I’d become: an escort. I learned quickly, and the money I made allowed me to pay for my mother’s chemo treatments. Once our debts were paid off, I met a man and got out of the business. Then, a string of events forced me back into the world of escorting. But this time, things were different.

I built a business and became a high-end escort to the wealthy of the wealthiest. To men who paid me well and allowed me to live a comfortable life and care for my daughter. Then, one night at an event, I met a man. A sexy, rich, single man who paid me ridiculous money to spend one night together. Then….

I broke my number one rule: Never fall in love with a client.

Caden

The moment I saw her, I had to have her. I knew what she was, and I didn’t care. I would pay any amount of money for one night with her. After our night was over, I wanted more. I craved more. She was the perfect woman, and I didn’t have to worry about her wanting a relationship or falling in love. I made her an offer she couldn’t refuse. I owned her. Everyone has a price.

Then things became complicated, and the more time I spent with her, the more my past haunted me. Feelings for her emerged, and I fell in love. But the demons inside me kept me in check, reminding me of what I’d done and ensuring that I’d never make the same mistake again.

I’ll always support a heroine that has a very experienced sex life, more than hero but I will NEVER support a woman that sleeps with married men. Fictional or not. And to make matters worse hero treats her like the paid “whore” he said she is.
This author’s has got to be smoking 🚬 something, she needs to lay off because she’s delusional writing these books.

This author’s number of readers are decreasing little by little. For me, it’s her obsession with cheating, sex with op, op always causing trouble. What happened to her?? A few years ago I used to read her books blindly. Now I will completely forget about her. Going definitely to my “authors I don’t read anymore “ list

I wasn’t thrilled with this story. The writing felt lifeless and didn’t bring out strong emotions.
So many times Caden’s moto was mentioned “everything has a price” and it was galling.
I found meaningless the small drama at the end and had nothing to add in the story other than to create an impression of angst.

Brielle and Caden

I’m sad I didn’t love this as much as I thought I would. I knew the premise would be fun and interesting. I’d hoped our escort of the evening, Brielle, would meet this man who would cherish her and build her up, make her feel worth while and strong.

Unfortunately I wasn’t even remotely a fan of Caden. He was mean and judgmental. I was surprised at some of the things he said to Brielle. He constantly said how their arrangement was business not personal. When she would seem concerned about him he would tell her to mind her own business, but he constantly demanded to know all about her personal life.

I love this author and will read more from her, but this one just wasn’t for me.

So I mean ... I read the whole thing, so ... that's something, right?
I guess?

I actually liked that Brielle is an escort. She's a very VERY high end prostitute. (I mean, if you can get it, and it doesn't bother you, GET IT, GIRL. GET THAT COIN.)
80,000 a month. 20,000 (or more) a weekend. Bitch - do it.

So you know, that was cool. Her relationship/not with the clients.

Caden though - fucking manbaby. And holy STALKER KID - with the spying on her to see her come out of the bathroom. And Brielle just kinda loses her mind once she gets involved with him.
Ok sure, I'll cancel all my other clients. Ok sure I'll go out as me. Ok sure this is where I live.
Absolutely, we can forego condoms.

Like ... Caden didn't win me over.

And then when he FREAKS THE FUCK OUT that she has a kid.
Which also - ALSO- the whole ... IDEK. Brielle having to go back to prostitution once she finds out she's pregnant. Also also? WHY THE HELL DIDN'T SHE GO AFTER THE EX FOR CHILD SUPPORT I MEAN HELLO? You don't even have to DO anything with him - but it's LEGALLY REQUIRED. Also I don't know about the particular law in NY but you'd think that shit would be s-o-r-t-e-d especially in that jurisdiction ... (or at the VERY least have had him sign away all his rights...)
Just like... bitch. COME. ON.

And then how it's her paying her mom and for her mom's place to live and everything ... and then her mom is just all "oh well I have a boyfriend now so I quit" ... WAIT WHAT?! I mean I get she's her mom and everything - and even though I wouldn't ACTUALLY really want her to, I kinda wanted Brielle to be like "oh well damn guess you better find another apartment you can pay for then since I'm paying for your apartment currently and your everything in life so you'll watch your granddaughter..."

>.>

... I also don't remember much of the rest - the brother was nice, I wouldn't mind seeing more of him...
But I don't remember much of the end of the "Caden grovel" which means it didn't happen or it was insufficient. Caden was also a major jackass about kids in general - and then with this "heavy baggage." Dude. Go to therapy. Fucking manbaby.

AND the daughter was what, 7? She was ... ugh. It was too much and her being perfect and a prodigy in every way and not at all like a kid so Caden would like her. Pft.

I absolutely love it when I read a book and it turns out to be so much more than what the blurb described. The Escort is unassuming in the most wonderful way and transitioned into such a beautiful and touching story. It has a perfect blend of deep emotions, sensuality, passion and just the right amount of humor.

Caden is a self proclaimed bachelor with a cold heart and damaged past. Brielle is an escort who’s in this line of work for a good reason and I respected her for that. She was a confident and unapologetic woman who owned who she was. Ms. Lynn did an amazing job with writing her character with dignity and class. Both of these characters are so well rounded and their chemistry was electric. I couldn’t get enough of them. The Escort is also about redemption, self forgiveness and Caden and Brielle more than deserved happiness. This bing worthy book is a definite must read!!

This author surprised me with the last book I read, Defense, but this one disappointed me.
The biggest problem I find is that from the beginning I failed to perceive the chemistry between them and I missed at what point a commercial deal became love. So many times he reproached her that it was only sex for money that distressed her little self-esteem when he hurt her and forgave her instead of sending him to hell.
Caden has a tragic past and that allows him to be a scumbag but as I love him, all forgotten.
Then the scenes were not credible and unless I just know you accept all your macho and egotistical demands.
I hope that the next book of this author takes away the bad taste of this mouth.

2 stars...
This was my first novel by this author and I am convinced that I am not picking any book by this author in the future.
The characters are just so bland and I didn't know when their business relationship became that of love. I didn't see any kind of love developing between them. At one point I felt like, I must have missed some pages where this conversion to a love relation must have taken place,...but no, I didn't. I just couldn't connect to the characters and I don't know when this became a love story.
The conversations among various other characters was so flat. The storyline was okay but the execution sucks. Soooo not reading this author. Nope.

Although I haven't' read many books from this author, neither of them have made an impression on me. I find the synopsis interesting but how the story is developed is lacking that something to make it really great.
My problem with this book is that I couldn't believe the characters' relationship and love for each other so sudden. They didn't have any meaningful moments before giving that jump. Sadly, it didn't work out for me.

Outstanding

Such an amazing story about an escort called Brielle who has a six year old daughter. When Brielle found out she was pregnant her boyfriend went for food and never came back. Brielle daughter has the best of everything and she is very smart with an IQ of 150 that is boarder genius. As an escort Brielle used a fake name called Emmy and when she was in Texas on business she became acquainted with Caden Chamberlain.

Caden seen it was love at first sight when he seen that she wore a wig to disguise herself and different colour eyes. Caden didn't really like her been an escort to other people so he made a propasition to her that she will be his escort for the next six months. But he had one condition that he had sex with no condom but that was breaking one of Brielle rules.

Caden was very demanding when he called Brielle he expected her to drop everything. As time went on Caden told Brielle he didn't like kids and one day he was in an art gallery with his friend and Stella Brielle daughter comes up to him and talks to him but Brielle calls her and Caden knew the voice and when he discovered it was Brielle he went off on a tangent and told Brielle he doesn't want anything to do with her and their contract is void.

It broke Brielle when that happened but it had its advantages because she wanted to spend more time with Stella and she had enough money saved to send Stella off to a top school. Caden realised what a fool he was when he took it out on Stella a d Brielle. He arrived at Brielle apartment and Stella opened the door and Caden told her she shouldn't be opening the door to strangers but she could see it was him. Brielle walked into the room and got a shock to see Caden.

This is another amazing book from Sandi I'm looking forward to the next one.

An enjoyable read

This was an okay read. Well written, a good storyline and good characters but I felt something was missing. Brielle Winters was a strong independent woman, doing what she needed for herself and her family. She was good at her job. Caden Chamberlain is a billionaire businessman who believes money can buy you anything. I wish in this story that at least someone wouldn’t have taken his money. As I think he needed to be taught a lesson. I also felt Brielle gave in to him far to quick. Other than that it was an enjoyable read.

Loved Caden & Brielle's story. I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading this book and boy I was immediately hooked within the first few pages! Their chemistry was off the charts hot!! Great summer read

I was overjoyed to read this book! Brielle Winters did not let life’s circumstances bring her take down. She takes care of her mom, her close friends (Ben & Sasha) and most of all her highly intelligent but cute as a button 6 year old daughter Stella. Brielle is her own boss and is in control as high class escort. It only took one look at Brielle that practically took Caden Chamberlain to his knees. Caden is used to getting what he wants and being a successful billionaire business man has it’s advantages. He was amazed and turned on after Brielle refused to his large monetary offer to sleep during their first initial encounter. Then the second offer was definitely an offer Brielle simply could not refuse. Brielle and Caden have both battled with trust and heartaches in the past, which is why they both had the sameness of control. It’s a battle of falling in love they both needed to conquer together. This may be one of my favorite books from Sandi Lynn. Not only does it have an amazing storyline but Brielle’s daughter Stella was one of my favorite characters in the book. Five stars all the way!!!

Another great hit from Sandi Lynn that I couldn’t get enough of! Brielle works as an escort in order to support her family, no matter the costs. When she is introduced to Caden during one of her jobs, she’s attracted to him but knows nothing would happen because of how she met him. Caden on the other hand meets her and is instantly determined to get her for himself. After a proposition that Brielle couldn’t refuse, they enter an agreement that is bound to not end well. When Brielle’s secret comes to light, Caden reacts as expected and your heart just breaks for her! Throwing in Brielle’s baby daddy drama was something I didn’t expect or see coming, but in true Sandi Lynn fashion it added the perfect amount of suspenseful drama that makes her books the next level. I continue to sing Sandi Lynn’s praises for her great stories; from the storylines to the flow of the books they are all just amazing reads! Here’s to hoping we get Stella’s book?!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

First of all, i really LOVE those shoes and I feel like I need them, there might have been more drooling about the shoes on the cover that about the guy; not that he wasn't drool worthy, but i'm that obsessed with those shoes! I was very curious about this one, but it reminded me a bit too much to another book from this author, maybe if their looks weren't almost exactly the same and their circumstances weren't so similar, but it felt a bit like deja vu! I get the attraction, but she dropped her guard and rules too quickly and easily for him, she gave personal information to him (and some other people) from the beginning, she even let slip a few things about her clients; i really didn't like that, it seemed very unprofessional to me, she acts like a lovestruck teen. while he is way too obsessed! It wasn't a bad book, but it was a bit shallow!

This book is as HOT as it’s cover !! Caden Chamberlin never expected to feel things in his cold and dead heart but one .. just one look at Brielle Winters he knows she is the one that will melt the ice ..

Little does he know is that he won’t be able to move in until he forgives himself and he just isn’t willing to do that yet ..

Brielle or shall I say .. Emmy Pine .. has her own secrets but is she willing to tell Caden hers if he isn’t willing to tell her his ? When she pushes he pushes her away so why put her heart in danger and a tiny human too !!

BUT the chemistry between these to sexual people is off the charts and I am not sure they can live without each or will LIFE get between these two ??

So fantastic I read it in 6 hours !! Couldn’t put it down !! Way to go Sandi !!

The Escort, is absolutely amazing! Was given the opportunity to give an honest review of an ARC of the book. You will not want to put it down. The intensity between between Caden and Brielle, is so strong, he wants everything to remain the way he demands it should. Brielle, the giving person she is, wants to help. they are full of emotion, excitement, humor, so many feelings neither will allow to slip thru. Cannot wait for you all to read, so I can see your thoughts. I absolutely loved them, and their story💖.

Felt rushed

Sandi Lynn is a great author and when I read this description I got Pretty Woman vibes and downloaded immediately. The story itself was a good one, but was often hard to follow because it seemed to lack transitioning. Brielle and Caiden were great characters, but their development of feelings for one another seemed to come out of nowhere. The story just felt rushed and I almost didn’t finish this book, but the plot was just good enough to make me want to get a conclusion. Predictable HEA that was kind of rushed through. Not a must read in my opinion...

Great

It was a great short story. I like the fact how the characters develop with in the story. I definitely like the fact that the ending wasn’t just them getting married and lived a happy life. I liked it went a little more into after being married. The part where the ex comes into the picture it was a nice twist. Great short story.

This was my first read from this author. I liked that it was dual pov's of course. I liked the premise of the book. It simply was missing depth for me. More chemistry, more angst... Still a good read
