Here's the thing: it takes an extremely smart author to write a smart book.
Wicked Sexy is just that. Smart. As if that wasn't enough, JTG also gives us humor, action, suspense, and a gigabyte of sexy swoon-worthy MCs (yes, both the h and H).
I could not put this down.
She's just become another all-time favorite author, I look forward to more amazing books from her.

“Asshole was being disrespectful,” I mutter, glaring at his retreating back.
There’s a shrug in her voice. “Men can’t help themselves, Connor. Boobs are your gender’s Kryptonite. I don’t take it personally.”
Still bristling, I look at her. “Well, I do. You could be mine, for all that asshole knows.”
She arches one elegant eyebrow. “Sure. In an alternate universe where I don’t have an IQ approaching two hundred points and you’re not a knuckle-dragging Neanderthal with a god complex and one too many pairs of cargo pants, I suppose that could be a possibility.”
Should I jump to the ending? Spoiler alert: the hero saves her.”
Tabby looks over at me, her eyes shining like gems in the dark. “A real hero would teach the princess how to save herself.”

I’m not weird. I’m limited edition.”
With convulsions that shake the bed, she orgasms in my mouth.
Thunder booms. Lightning flashes. The first of the rain begins a soft, drumming song against the roof.
And for the first time in my adult life, I discover the true meaning of the word yearning.
You're beautiful, jarhead,” I say brokenly.
He pants, “I'm yours, princess.”

"I'll never let you down when you need me."So entertaining! Gotta love a sarcastic, kick-ass heroine who's by far the most intelligent person in the room. :D
He's much smarter than he lets on. He plays the blunt, sexed-up, muscle-bound military man to absolute perfection so no one will think to look closer.Tabitha is a computer genius, one Connor has a history of trading insults with.
Beneath her smart mouth and rebel attitude and odd costumes, all the walls she's built around herself, lies a lost soul.He needs her help on an important job and their forced proximity results in fireworks of all kinds; physical, mental and emotional. And the best part of all . . . they were equals.
She can give as good as she gets.I loved just about everything about this one! I know some people don't like sarcastic heroines, but I'm not one of them. I LOVED Tabby.
I'm in my usual hacker chic outfit I wear on jobs, lots of tight black everything, punk meets goth, short on class and full of sass. And that Connor found her attitude and her intelligence hot made this one even better.
Because fuck you, that's why.
I love all her sharp edges.Both their chemistry . . .
Dear God. The man just fucked the truth right out of me.. . . and the romance were top notch . . .
"Love your tears, princess, 'cause I know you'd never give them to anyone but me."My only complaint is that some of the action near the end of the story got a bit silly
"I know you have a hero complex, but I don't need you to save me. That includes saving me from myself."Such good stuff! Happy reading!
We all sprang from apes, jarhead, but you didn’t spring far enough.”
“Just remember Jesus loves you, sweet cheeks, but everyone else thinks you’re a pain in the ass.”
“If brains were dynamite, you wouldn’t have enough to blow your nose.”
“Ha! Maybe if you ate some of that makeup you’re wearing, you’d be pretty on the inside.”
“Do you ever wonder what life would be like if you’d had enough oxygen at birth?”
“No, but I bet whatever your problem is, it’s really hard to pronounce."

I love that she’s brilliant and bold and mercilessly independent, but manages to make me feel like a king when she blushes.

Connor takes up a lot of space, but it’s his presence—quiet and intense, dangerous and still—and not a loud, arrogant swagger that calls attention to itself.
“Should I jump to the ending? Spoiler alert: the hero saves her.”REAL heroes don't save princesses, they teach the princesses how to save themselves. Princesses don't need heroes to teach them things, they can teach themselves, and that's probably more inspirational. However, in the context of the story, I interpreted the focus as less on heroes and princesses and more on the fact that: Through healthy, positive relationships we become the best version of ourselves. And that resonated.
Tabby looks over at me, her eyes shining like gems in the dark. “A real hero would teach the princess how to save herself.”
“That’s twice now I’ve made you scream, sweet cheeks, without even laying a finger on you.” His gaze, searing hot, travels down the length of my naked body. His voice grows husky. “Imagine what I could do with all ten.”
I stare at him with what I hope are death rays emanating from my eyes. “I hate you. With a heat like a thousand suns, I hate you. With the force of a million tons of TNT, I hate you. With every fiber of my being, I—”
“Hate me, I get the picture,” says Connor drily. “But you also think I’m kinda cute, right?” He winks.
A very sexy love/hate romance.
“I don’t like this story.”
“Should I jump to the ending? Spoiler alert: the hero saves her.”
Tabby looks over at me, her eyes shining like gems in the dark. “A real hero would teach the princess how to save herself.”
I loved Tabitha and her foul mouth, her sarcasm, her sass and tattoos and piercings! She was definitely my favorite part of this book. She doesn’t take s@#t from anyone, and gave as good as she got! Because of her past she’s a loner who doesn’t trust others, and who prefers to keep emotions out of everything. I loved the fact that she preferred saving herself instead of having a guy save her.
I don’t know what it is about this woman—bad-tempered, foul-mouthed Hello Kitty fiend with a constellation of tattoos on her body and a mind like a maze—but she really does it for me.
Connor is your typical alpha hero, who’s used to calling the shots, to being in control. I liked how he admired Tabby’s mind and her body ;-)
After another moment, he says quietly, “Permission to engage the enemy, ma’am.”
Furrowing my brows, I open my eyes. “Um…I don’t know what that means.”
“I want to kiss you,” he breathes, staring at my mouth.
Their banter was hilarious and I loved the animosity between them. The sexy times were so HAWT I thought I was going to melt. For the most part I really enjoyed the romance, especially the way Connor pursued Tabby. There was one thing that upset me, and because of it the romance wasn’t as perfect as I had hoped it would be.
“The only thing you need to know about Søren Killgaard is that he’s more clever than the devil, and not nearly as nice. If you show any weakness, he’ll exploit it. Whatever you think his endgame is, you’ll be wrong. He’ll always be five moves ahead of you, no matter how well you plan, and there’s only one way you’ll ever catch him.”
“Which is?”
Tabby smiles. The cold pragmatism in it sends a chill down my spine.
“By using me as bait.”
They mystery regarding the cyber criminal and why Tabitha knows so much about him was excellent. There were a lot of twists that I didn’t see coming, and the plot kept me intrigued right until the end.
“I will kill you with my bare hands.”
A gently teasing tsk. “You love me. Just admit it, sweetheart. The only time you feel alive is when you’re screaming insults in my face.”
This is not my first book by this author, I loved her Night Prowler PNR series, and her writing is outstanding as always. Despite my issues, this is definitely a book that most romance fans will love. Excellent banter, combustible sexy times and a strong and feisty heroine.
