Gemarakup, Super Sleuth

Rate this book
"Gemarakup" (as Yisrael David Finkel was called by everyone except his mother and his teachers) was not only the smartest boiy in his sixth grade class, he was also one of the youngest, shrewdest detectives to be found anywhere.

But Gemarakup does not solve mysteries in teh usual way. He has never studied criminology or police sciences. His solutions come from his brilliant memory and the wonderful stories of tzaddikim, scholars, and sages that fill it.

Let us match wits with Gemarakup. See how many cases you can solve before turning to the back of the book for Gemarakup's amazing solutions.

I thought the writing was good and the stories were interesting. My only criticism is that if you don't know the stories from the gemarah already it's pretty hard to solve the mysteries.

I'm not sure what this book is like for a child but as an adult it is ridiculous. I am amazed that this genre exists.
