Political Prairie Fire: The Nonpartisan League
In 1915, North Dakota farmers, driven by anger and frustration, organized themselves to challenge the grain-marketing and banking monopolies that denied them the profits of their own labor. Morlan's book, first published in 1955, is an important account of this crucial chapter in American agricultural and political history.

I’d give it 5 stars for how well-researched and thorough it was, but 1 star for how much I enjoyed it. Just not my cup of tea.

Well-written history of a movement of farmers/the Nonpartisan League that rose to power - primarily in North Dakota - from 1915-1922. Hard to find.
