Sunflowers
Sunflowers is a compilation of heart-achingly beautiful stories and poems that follows the life of author, Kirby Peterman. As a young Texan, navigating friendships, intimacy, and femininity, she is thrown off course following an experience of sexual assault during her first week of college. The collection shifts as she works on her self-healing journey, learning to love, trust, and grow in the aftermath of trauma. "
