I won this set in a Goodreads giveaway.
I only read the book 100 Ways to Love your Husband (my husband will not be reading it's partner book).
Since already being married 23 years, this would have been a great resource when we were engaged or first married. This book can provide helpful tips to those who are considering getting married too. It's got great reminders of how marriage can and should be, gives tips and examples on how to get there and stay there, keeping the flame lit.
I am not religious in any way, but for those that may be, I'm sure the few religious passages would be relevant also.
Cute, quick, encouraging read for those going down the marriage path!

A great pair of books for a wedding or anniversary gift. Each one has 100 practical ideas for loving your spouse better. They vary in length, some a few paragraphs, others just a few words. Every so often there will be a longer example or story that may take up a page or two. Definitely nothing daunting for someone seeking to truly care for their husband or wife.

#27 – Be honest. It is important to speak the truth – in love – to him. Always. Don’t compromise with half-truths or little secrets. Speak straight and true, even when it is difficult to do so.

100 Ways to Love Your Husband, Lisa Jacobson
#25 – Accept that she thinks differently from you. A wise husband doesn’t want a “rubber stamp” wife who automatically validates everything he thinks and wants to do. She sees things differently and that is a very important benefit of her personality. Value it. Don’t minimize her unique perspective and intuition – it’s a God-given gift to help you make wiser decisions.

100 Ways to Love Your Wife, Matt Jacobson
Those are just two examples. The other entries are just as simple and easy to read. The books are full of practical reminders of things you can do to truly help your marriage grow closer in love and understanding.

Let me start by saying, I am not usually one to read any kind of personal growth, relationship-building type of book. But, something about the 100 Ways to Love your Husband spoke to me. I ordered it, read it, and quickly realized that I was missing the mark when it came to loving my husband. After reading it, I immediately went to my husband and asked for his forgiveness. I thought I was an awesome wife, and in some ways, I truly think I am, but I had work to do. And work I did. Using the simple ways outlined in this book, our relationship strengthened, our love, while always there, was enhanced, and yes, our intimate times became, well....I'll let you figure that out.

My husband read 100 Ways to Love Your Wife (I have too since then), and he came to the same realization. He is an amazing man, don't get me wrong. I picked a good one for sure. But, he had work to do too. Working on us together has been amazing. Marriage is work, no doubt. But it's a journey, not a marathon, and it's a journey well worth taking together.

These two books certainly changed our marriage - strengthened it, enhanced it, solidified it. As
most people have experienced, time makes you forget - makes you take for granted that your spouse knows what you're thinking. This bundle should not be a one-time read. It is an invaluable resource and one that should be kept handy and re-read lovingly.

The 100 Way to Love Your Husband/Wife books by Matt and Lisa Jacobson are a great easy read. We have been married 22 years and I would say we have a great marriage! But even so we are always looking for ways to make it even better and grow it even deeper! These books teach us so many different ways to speak love to each other, ways that we may not even have realized WAS speaking love. I have bought a 2nd set now to give as a wedding gift! As with any books the principles need to be read and “applied” for you to experience the difference in your own marriages! So go buy these books and happy reading!
