World War II Secret Operations

Rate this book
At the same time as World War II was being fought on battlefields around the world, secret operatives were active behind enemy lines, gathering intelligence, hiding agents, and carrying assassinations and acts of sabotage, from France to the Balkans and Burma. With 180 outstanding archie photographs and artworks, this book is a brilliant account of the most significant clandestine missions of the conflict.

This book examines / discusses the work of a number of secret service organisations during WWII.

This covered a huge range of organisations / agents / operations in just over 220 pages – so although it was very interesting and thought provoking it lacked any real depth in regards to any individual person or action.
