It a beautiful plot based on two main characters- One aka Eric and Shell.
Shell is a vampire and an Overload, the only son of Lord Pain. He is the legal heir of Pain, thus inheriting the ownership of Blood Bank. Eric is a mere human being who is working as a banker in the blood bank.
Vampires and humans co-exist in this fictional world with a treaty inbetween which is sometimes disturbed by the smell of vampires controlling the bankers working in blood bank but Eric isn't affected by the same. Eric hids in a secret but there's tons of secrets waiting for him even.
Shell is attracted to Eric from their very first meeting but he tries to approach Eric, he comes to know about the grudge Eric holds against the vampires.
Will Eric fall in love with Shell?
Are they going to do something great to make the balance right between humans and vampires?

Well yes! The story ends with a happy note and I loved it❤️

It's been a couple years since I read this series, but it was so good! I loved the dynamics between the characters, the world building, and the trust that grew between the two protagonists. The twists and turns that cropped up as the plot thickened were surprising and captivating. Overall this was a brilliant series.

One e Shell iniziano la loro strana relazione di dominazione ma ad intromettersi c'è il vampiro Reign. Lui ha sempre ammirato Shell ma forse ammirava la maschera che lui aveva messo per nascondere la sua vera natura, quella che rivela solo in presenza di One e che adesso vuole abbracciare e non nascondere più... E' un volume breve (purtroppo), ma pieno di fatti e che indaga bene i personaggi di Reign e Shell, il loro rapporto e e le loro somiglianze che inizialmente non vogliono ammettere, ma dovranno farlo l'uno all'altro... Mi è piaciuto molto anche l'inizio e la fine dove vediamo il lato dominatore di One, anche se la sua è finora una dominazione molto calma e ancora poco sessuale, ma che fa venire indubbiamente i brividi. E il finale promette altre gioie per il seguito...
