Featuring Stories from Ann Lister Elle Keaton Kris Jacen Lynn Michaels SJ York TL Travis
Ann Lister is a native New Englander currently living in Florida with her husband. She has pulled details from her years living in the New England area and uses many local settings and landmarks in her novels.
After graduating art school, marrying, and raising two daughters, she established her own video production company. Her nearly two decades working in video production included work within the music industry and won her a coveted Telly Award. Her 'behind-the-scenes' exposure to the music world and her love of rock music is the inspiration for her erotic rock star romances.
The Rock Gods series gave her Bestselling Author status on Amazon. Beyond The Music, Book 7 in the series, reached #1 in Gay Erotica in the Pre-Order and held that spot for several weeks. The last book in the series launches the spin-off series, Guarding The Gods, which is releasing in early summer 2016.
Fall For Me, Book One in the series was a Finalist in the 2013 Rainbow Award. Each book in this series brings her two favorite elements together: musicians and the love between two men. These stories focus on what it truly means to love; love unconditionally, love without restrictions or labels, love without fear or judgment – to just simply love.
This is a FANTASTIC collection of short stories by INCREDIBLE authors. Elle Keaton, Kris Jacen, Ann Lister, TL Travis, Lynn Michaels and SJ (Sara) York. All number one best selling authors in the fabulous M/M genre. This collection is wonderful. Every story is fun, hot and full of love. Great job!!!
ELLE KEATON: LOVE ~LIMITED EDITION
A fun story of a struggling young artist Rory and a bookstore owner Brett. Two souls who meet at the right moment in time. A HOT and sweet story.
KRIS JACEN: BENT CORNERS
Evan and Riley meet the bookstore owned by Riley's uncle. This meeting is more than both could hope for. Join these two adorable characters, in the stacks.
ANN LISTER: A RHYTHM YOU FEEL
Oh, this short story is great. Blade is a rock star, on the run. Nico owns a bookstore. Want to know how the frontman of HARD CORE meets the owner of BOOK ENDS?? Get this FANTASTIC anthology so you can get the beginning of ANN LISTER'S new spin off series THE ROCK GODS: EAST COAST LABEL. This looks INCREDIBLE and if Blade is as HOT as his fantasies, we're going to need lots of cool drinks and fans to read them.
TL TRAVIS: COFFEE, TEA OR ME
This is a great story about Howie the barista who works in a coffee shop/bookstore. Jackson is a best selling author who is there everyday for his coffee fix and to write. Both characters are insecure and lonely. They are also adorable in their struggle to communicate. Beautiful, HOT short story.
LYNN MICHAELS: LOVE POTION NO. 69
Keith and Sadler meet when a storm forces Keith to find shelter. It's a bookstore and Sadler is working behind the counter. Keith decided to purchase a older well worn cookbook. Neither can stop thinking about the other. Could it be a little magic?? This is a fun story about love, fate and maybe a little magic.
SJ YORK: STACKS
Levant is a military veteran who is building a new life. He's working in the bookstore while he completes college. Nic is a very unique man who is anxiety ridden. The bookstore is his safe place. This is a sweet story about patience and learning to trust and let go.
I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FANTASTIC BOOK!!!!!
Love—Limited Edition by Elle Keaton Rory wasn’t really aimless. He just didn’t want the things his parents wanted. He was happy working in a coffee shop. He came home out of guilt. Brett had his bookstore and his dog Lucille. He’d had it shot at happiness and lost it. Rory and Brett, foregone conclusion. Nice story about finding love in the last place Rory expected, home
Bent Corners by Kris Jacen Riley creates beautiful art with his tattoos. He takes care of his uncle’s bookstore after the man has a heart attack. That’s how he meets Evan. The two spark off each other. An easy fall into love story.
A Rhythm You Feel by Ann Lister Blade, lead singer for a rock band, has a temper tantrum and ends up running through the streets of New York. Pursued by crazed fans. When he hides in a bookstore he meets Nico. Blade is captivated by Nico. Nico sees himself as straight even though he had something going with his cell mate while in prison. Blade sees him having a starring role in his fantasies. (This story is an intro to The Rock Gods, East Coast Label).
Coffee, Tea or Me by TL Travis Howie works in a coffee shop/bookstore. Everyday the same man comes in twice a day, ordering the same thing every day. Not seeming to notice how interested Howie is in him. Jackson finally gets the courage to not only talk to Howie but to ask him out. This story is the cutest! It has an old type black and white movie romance feel to it. I would love to see more of Howie and Jackson.
Love Potion No. 69 by Lynn Michaels Keith goes into Sandler’s book shop for a cookbook. The man behind the counter pointed him to the books. They started flirting with each other. When Keith made a pie from the book he was confused because the ingredients kept shifting around and what he got was lousy pie. He tried to return the defective book to Sadler with no luck. They decided to have a contest. While making the pie they got close. They were still working with odd ingredients though. The pie turned out well and they decided it was a love potion. However the path of true love is not a straight line.
Stacks by SJ York Nic lives in his own little safe word. Doesn’t do well with other people. His crippling anxiety keeps him alone. He loves the bookstore because him and his mom went there every weekend. One day he goes in and the clerk he knows isn’t there, freaking him out. He hides in his usual spot under the stairs. At closing time he is frightened by the clerk Levant, then intrigued. Levant decides he wants to see more of Nic and makes it happen. Nic is surprised at how calm he is when Levant is around. Then Nic see someone who may derail his life again. This tale ends on a happy for now note. Nice story.
Overall I enjoyed all the stories in this anthology. They were all well done and had a lot of information I needed to feel they were complete.

Each story was fun and relatable in some way and I enjoyed reading a couple of new authors.
Elle Keaton: Love Limited Edition I have loved the other books I have read by Elle Keaton, and this one, while slightly different than the Accidental Roots series, was definitely just as good. Rory and Brett had really good chemistry and I loved how sweet Brett was once he figured out what he wanted and I just plain loved Rory.
Kris Jacen: Bent Corners This was the first time I have read anything by Kris Jacen and I liked it. I always love a good tattooed guy and Riley had that in spades. Evan was this cute and kind guy, and I could definitely have read a full-length book featuring them.
Ann Lister: A Rhythm You Feel Hmm. I was a bit taken aback by this story in the sense that I did not really connect it to the novel that just came out, soooo this “To Be Continued” offering kinda surprised me, but it completely drew me into the story and I had to go and get the book!
TL Travis: Coffee, Tea, or Me I loved Jackson and his awkwardness that he experienced when interacting with Howie - I can totally relate, too! And Howie’s confidence issues are relatable as well. This was different from the social Sinners series but just as great.
Lynn Michaels: Love Potion No. 69 This was a cute and amusing story and I loved the “cookbook” that Keith gets, and, Sadler’s sassiness!
SJ York: Stacks This was actually my favorite out of the 6 books. Nic is a wonderful character and the way SJ describes his anxiety was well done, and I loved Levant’s understanding and handling a lot.

The first story, Love - Limited Edition by Elle Keaton, was so poorly punctuated that I found it far too distracting to read. I only ended up reading halfway through the second chapter before I gave up. There were far too many places where commas were missing, only to be thrown in elsewhere inappropriately.
The few time he'd dated his boyfriends, if you could call them that, had always tried to change him.
As he stood shocked by the shop's very existence the door opened and a gust of warm air along with a customer, exited a cheery "Thank you!" tossed over her shoulder.
Rory shook himself out of his reverie quickly moving to grab the door handle before it fully shut as if this was his only the chance, the door had opened for him by some kind of strange book-ish magic.
i read stacks by sj york and i freakin loved it.. it was amazing and wonderful.. ive also read a lot of books by these other authors and they are amazing writers so i am pretty sure this whole anthology is perfection haha. but seriously.. stacks is amazing.. so cute and sweet and interesting. loved it
Six authors, six hot stories. Whether you like fun and flirty or a bit of angst, happy ever after or happy for now, it's in this one. There's a great group of authors here and each one brings us a sexy male/male romance with one thing in common, book stores. We start with Elle Keaton's Brett and Rory in Lazy Dog Books for a bit of fast but fun romance, then on to Kris Jacen's Bent Corners where Riley finds more than the book for his grandmother. Ann Lister gives us a taste of the sexy Blade when he hides out in Book Ends and Nico gives him an idea for a hot new song. TL Travis offers up a bit of poetry between Howie and Jackson, then Lynn Michaels gives us a touch of the paranormal with a cookbook that offers more than the standard recipes. SJ York completes the collection with a little angst for Nic and Levant, who are absolutely perfect together. Each story is easily read in one sitting, so pick one each night for a fun bedtime read, or binge through the whole thing just because they're all so good. Either way, this one's a winner all the way around.
Get lost in the pages and find love along the way! A great collection!!!!
A wonderful collection of short stories revolving around a book store. Each unique and different but with the perfect amount of heart and humor this is a great collection to sink into.
I loved Rory and Brett from Elle Keaton's Love - Limited Addition. I found this the perfect sweet read with great detail, care, and feelings. I felt as the couple fell for each other and loved their cute and sweet journey. I enjoyed Bent Corners and Riley and Evan's hot encounter definitely heated up the pages!
This is a really great collection of sweet short stories for any fellow book obsessive!!!
I read Elle Keaton’s Love and I found it absolutely adorable and sweet. Rory is a young man visiting his home town for the first time in a long time and ducks into a bookstore run by Brett. The two men meeting was sparks and lightning. Rory left his protective bubble and it has the effect of both men finding the one they need in their life.
The story was short and sweet and yet you connected with both men. Elle weaves their life stories in between meetings and you get a sense of them.
I love Elle’s work, she has a way with words and characters that makes you yearn for more about them..
Yes, Elle, I think I need more books set in this world.
This is a great collection of stories all set in some type of bookstore. My favorite of this group would have to be the written by Ann Lister (A Rhythm You Feel). It ends with a to be continued but I cannot wait for the rest of the story which starts a new series for her with touches of her old series characters. My other favorite would have to be Bent Corners by Kris Jacen. Riley and Evan's story is just so sweet and shows you that true family loves you no matter who you are and who you love. Love is love. Such great stories...you really MUST read this colleciton.
A Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words Review An Alisa Review:
Rating: 3.5 stars out of 5
I love anthologies and was so happy to get the chance to read this one. I like that they give the opportunity to read a few different authors in the same book.
In Love – Limited Edition Rory is trying to find his happiness and a chance meeting with Brett helps jump start that journey. I loved these characters and how cute they were together and that Brett was able to give Rory the chance to connect with his parents but also find the love he wanted. Riley and Evan in Bent Corners have a couple chance meetings that give them the chance to explore their attraction. I loved Riley’s determination to help his uncle and Evan’s situation with his grandma but their story seemed a bit unfinished to me especially with Evan’s jealous reaction near the end.
A Rhythm You Feel was the one story I had the trouble with the most unfortunately, it’s mainly a pet peeve of mine when an author does a to be continued story in something like this, It was unfinished but other than getting to know Blade and Nico, they just meet a couple times, there wasn’t any romance. Howie in Coffee, Tea, or Me just longs for love and affection from someone and Jackson needs to find the confidence he needs to provide it. I liked these two, especially Howie, but felt that Jackson just kept reverting back into himself and had some trouble thinking about what he was saying but worked hard to prove himself to Howie.
Love Potion No. 69 was a bit of a departure from the other stories in this collection. Keith and Sadler meet by chance and concocting their “love potion” helps jump start their relationship but I don’t know something about it didn’t sit right with me. Stacks was absolutely the sweetest story of all. Levant is so patient and wants nothing more than for Nic to be happy which he shows in every way.
Cover art by Kris Jacen is okay, it works with the theme of this anthology but all the items don’t seem cohesive.
A lovely collection of bedtime reads. All of the meets took place in book stores. Being a bibliophile myself, that kind of intrigued me. With one exception, these were sweet stories of finding that one perfect person alleged to be out there for everyone. Beautiful! The one exception was a prequel to a greater story and kind of left me hanging. Not cool. The rest were satisfying short stories worthy of very pleasant dreams.
This was such a great read. For those of us who know and love these authors we get more of why we love them. If you are new to them you can see why we do. Tastes and teased of what's to come and what we want more of plus some sweet sexy bites to read again and again. All in one book. Sure made this reader squeal and do a happy dance.
