I was so happy that Killer finally got his story!! This one though a stand-alone, makes more since when read in order with the other books as there is references to key characters and events from prior books that take place in this one.
I'm a fan of this series. Though it does have darker themes of submission and spanking, the women always seem to be feisty and spirited (or willful as my Grandpa would say). That especially holds true for Kristina, a woman turned warrior out seeking vengeance on the Cenzans for killing her family. She sets out to free woman from enslavement and soon earns a following. But with any following, it picks up those with different ideas, ideas to use the rebels to kill instead of free. Before Kristina knows it, her group has revolted against her and is bombing villages and now she is the Cenzans #1 Most Wanted.
Killer was fine guarding one of the Cenzans villages after he saved the King. He was jaded with the whole human race. Now he and 2 Cenzans are to be mates with a human woman who in exchange may have answers that could stop a possible war starting by rebel rogues. Can his cold-heart handle the electricity that stirs through him every time Kristina touch him? Can the four of the create a mate bond and move past their differences? I think this story is as good as the first if not better, just because of the emotion connections involved. Definite recommend

Non stop Action
This book was non stop action from beginning to the end. It has a very feisty heroin. She is a warrior who is fighting the aliens that came to earth. She is given to two of the aliens and a human man. Each is proud and stubborn. They clash but they do face danger together.

Wow this is a real whooper of a story. There are so many twists and turns. So much history with these guys that it really keeps you on your toes and on the each of your seat!
Killer knew when he saw Kristina in the bar she was trouble but it isn't long before he finds himself in an alley saving a Cenzan from her knife. Killer knew he had to punish her and the crowd were loving the spanking she was receiving. She couldnt believe the spanking had got her aroused and when Killer dips a finger inside her she sees red. But Kristina who believed that it was the Cenzan aliens who killed the people of her village and now she wanted each and every Cenzan alien dead and free from earth. She was the leader of a group of male and female humans who worked together to rescue the female humans that they have kidnapped and to kill the creepers. .
When Kristina gets back, Ginger is quick to let her know that Damen has gone behind her back and got over 200 people ready to go to the nearest colony of creeper to send a message. But Kristina knows they don't have all the information yet there maybe innocent people there. Damon doesn't believe there are any innocents. They are traitors, Traitors who have mated to the aliens. And they have been voting and she was no longer the leader. Damon bombs the local colony killing 4 Cenzan and many humans.
Killer knows that Kristina must know something about it. So he goes with a team of Cenzan to find her. Killer knows he must take her to the king for her punishment, she wasn't going to stop trying to kill Cenzan.
Kristina finds herself in front of the king but her punishment is not death, It's called Act of Drakon. She is to be given to three males. They would mate her and be there to protect her. Kristina was not happy. She was to mate two Cenzan aliens and one human male. The aliens were Talyn and Zacon and the human was Killer.
And oh boy this is where it get interesting. But its more than just sexy chapters its about learning about this foursome and what makes them tick.
I can not wait to read more Cenzan stories. What an amazing storyline and fantastic characters. Totally loved this book!!

Loved this dark reverse harem sci-fi romance.
This book has an interesting storyline and wonderful characters that are full of emotional turmoil. Kristina longs for an Earth free of the Cenzan aliens who she believes to be responsible for killing her entire village just two years ago. Killer is a man of few words and even though he is human he has pledged his loyalty to the alien King and his people. Killer believes that they not only have the aliens best interests at heart but that of the humans as well. After what happened to Killer's wife he feels he will never love again and he is okay with that. After a rogue group of people take out a Cenzan village, Killer and some of the Cenzan men capture the woman they believe to be responsible for the attack, Kristina. While Kristina never hides the fact that she doesn't like the aliens, she would never lead an attack that would kill innocent woman and children. She is sentenced to what the alien's call The Act of Drakan, which is a mating ritual where she will have three mates. The mates chosen for her are Talyn, Zacon and her third mate the human, Killer. While all this is going on there are still humans out there trying to kill off the King and void the human/alien treaty so they can execute the remaining aliens on Earth. This is an absolutely captivating and beautiful story that will keep you in the edge of your seat to the very end. Great read and I highly recommend it!

Terrific reverse dark harem romance……
This was a riveting storyline that held me right from beginning to end and I can recommend it to anyone wanting a read that had everything I have come to expect from Piper Stone. Kristina has dreamed of an Earth that was free of the Cerzan aliens she has come to believe are responsible for the complete irradiation of her village all of them innocents, all of them needlessly murdered, even though several years have passed she is still determined to located the killers and seek retribution in kind.
Killer is a human that has previously been married and believes that he will never love again however after a Cerzan village is killed by a rogue group of humans both him and a group of likeminded Cerzan’s seek retribution and kidnap a woman they believe responsible, Kristina.
She is sentenced to The Act of Drakan which is a ritual, a mating ritual where she will have three Cerzan mates they are Killer, Talyn and Zacon who will take her and make her their mate to use as they see fit. Kristina however, is no shrinking violet and will no accept this sentence without a fight.
This is a captivating read that will hold you from start to finish and keep you guessing.

Kristina aka Bellona wasn’t going to let these vile Cenzan touch her. Killer is an ex-Marine working with the Cenzan. The rebellion has an issue. Namely a hot head named Damen. He wanted to eradicate all Creepers and didn’t care about the innocent lives that it would take. Kristina from the start realized that planning had to be made, careful and well-orchestrated. But Damen cared nothing of that. Her capture and punishment are harsh but not the full extent of the law. A deal is struck and now she is part of the Act of Drakan. Killer, Zacon and Talyn are to be her mates. But will this make things, right?
Boy there is so much going on in this story. We dive deep into the relationship with Cenzan and the humans. Of course, we have a rebellion. There is a faction that does not want them here and cares little. We also have Kristina that has a grudge against them and we find out why. But is there any truth to it? So many lies and half-truths are floating around in this world. Zacon, one of her mates has a distrust for the humans. We learn about his issue. Talyn is calming and romantic. Killer is a soldier that has saved many Cenzan lives along with the king. It’s a lot we learn and toss in some steamy sexy bodies and we have an adventure.
Boy there is so much going on in this story. We dive deep into the relationship with Cenzan and the humans. Of course, we have a rebellion. There is a faction that does not want them here and cares little. We also have Kristina that has a grudge against them and we find out why. But is there any truth to it? The wrap up seemed too easy
Although I enjoyed the three parts of the story, the whole story seemed to resolve too easily in the final chapters. I was also once again struck by the complete absence of post-discipline aftercare and access to healing that was stressed in Fiona's case, but totally missing for both Lexi and Kristina. If one is going to focus a good part of all of the stories on the sexual aspects of pleasure and pain, please be realistic regarding the need for physical recovery and care to build trust between those involved.
After so much build up to the crisis and final battle, I was surprised at how quickly everything resolved. An assassination and the final showdown and with the main villain of the story. So quick that I wish there was more. Outside of Fiona, there is not much detail on the lives of the other two women and I also wonder how the whole offspring business works out. Are all offspring considered those of the principle male or are they tracked to their biological male parent in addition to the female? An important point if one of the arrangements in question includes a king. It could lead to some interesting stories in a future arc.

This is the story of Kristina who resides on a dystopian Earth where an alien race is now populating Earth along with the humans. There was another human war and after that, settlers who lost their own planet, the Cenzan asked permission and were granted settlements on Earth. Kristina believes her father, a prominent scientist and her family were killed by the Cenzan, so forms a group to destroy their soldiers, believing they are kidnapping human women and forcing them to breed children. What she believes is propaganda, so when she and two others from her group enter a bar to kill a Cenzan, she is stopped by a human male who now defends the aliens...Killer. She is very attracted to the dominant alpha and is eventually brought to the attention of the alien king after a Cenzan village is targeted...but you will need to read this interesting tale of how two disparate groups can come together. I've enjoyed everything I've read by Piper Stone, so this one was no different. I was initially impressed by the setup, which appeared quite an elaborate feat of world-building, then it struck me: Doh, this is the 3rd in the series "Cenzan Mates", so that would stand to reason.
If I'd also looked at the cover, I probably would also have realized it's a reverse harem story. The initial pairing of the heroine ("Kristina") with the 1st hero ("Killer"--Hey, might want to consider something else for your Tinder profile, guy, but what do I know) was so clear--and yes, HOT, I wasn't expecting the later addition of extra peen.
DUAL peen, btw, a two-for-one deal per alien warrior, so...SPOILER ALERT.

I didn't think when I saw this book, I saw Piper Stone, I saw dark and grabbed it. It was dark but more angsty then what I think dark means.
But whew! Still, it pulled you in and held you each chapter ended and another started. The story intriguing enough to make you want to know what happens next.
Some creatures just don't do well with change, it matters not the race and in this case the species. Kristina makes no qualms in how she feels about he Cenzans. But she's not the only one with a tragic past with the past its easy to bolster bad feelings, hate and mistrust.
Reading along as if I was right there, feeling all their pain and hurt, the harsh betrayal and even the very moment that you find out you could possibly be wrong in all your hatred. Big storyline, with a sorrowful mystery you wonder if all 4 of them can make it work or will the past continue to drown them.

She was a leader for a group out for revenge. She had seen her whole family killed. Killer first found her in a bar trying to kill a cenzan warrior. He public humiliated her by spanking her when he went to leave they had sex on his motorcycle. After an attack on a cenzan colony the wanted the goddess of war brought to him. Killer, Talyn and Kacon were sent out. They found her in her home and brought her to the king. The three men were made to be her mates. They stopped a coax against the cenzans and formed a treat to live in peace between humans and cenzans.

Disappointed that Heroine did not keep Pride and Self
I read another story that I loved…This one started out great, strong female character, moved by vengeance. However, she gave in to every demand and gave up a large part of herself. Also, she had legitimate grievances even against Killer, but let body chemistry overcome a need for justice, self-confidence and self-respect. In these stories, I appreciate women who retain a part of their dignity and is valued for herself, not standing by watching her 3 lovers receive accolades based on intel she provided. Very disappointed and may not read other stories if they denigrate the female characters.

Loved the book it was great the story was well written. Kristina believes the Cenzan aliens that are on Earth killed her parents and village people. The Cenzan village was attacked and they captured the woman thought to be behind it. Two Cenzan aliens and one human were given Kristina, to teach her a lesson. There is sexual, bdsm that might offend some people, but I loved it, so worth reading.

Whoa...if your looking for action, drama, suspense and panty melting romance then you get all that pretty much in the first chapter but it doesn’t stop there...
Kristina is one kick-ass woman she’s a fighter a rebel, who is out for revenge against the Cenzans but after being betrayed by one of her own group she is captured, interrogated and punished before being given as a mate to Killer, Zacon and Talyon.
Once started I found that I could not put it down, the story is fast paced with a few twists and a HEA for all...

My heart was breaking when I learned of the past of our heroine and heroes. So much suffering, loss and pain. Killer, Zacon and Talyn found their redemption in their wife/mate, Kristina, and she in turn found hers in them. It wasn’t easy, there were a lot of mistrust and misunderstanding and the fate of the world in their hands. In the end, they succeeded and find peace.

This is another wonderfully written book in this series, although all are standalone novels. The author has done it again, a brilliant story so well written. The characters may not want to like each other or the position they find themselves in but, their chemistry is undeniable! Some steamy scenes in this book that although not for the faint of heart, they are delightfully written. Sit back and enjoy!

It was fun
I keep hoping that a strong woman will stay strong and not be cowed because that is how I see their punishments. There is no way you can hit a person with a belt, reed or piece of wood 10 times each and expect her to be ready for sex. She will be in way to much pain. I want to see a female turn the tables and see if they can still get it up after having their dicks spanked!
I keep hoping that a strong woman will stay strong and not be cowed because that is how I see their punishments. There is no way you can hit a person with a belt, reed or piece of wood 10 times each and expect her to be ready for sex. She will be in way to much pain. I want to see a female turn the tables and see if they can still get it up after having their dicks spanked!

Each book in this series just gets better and better. The building of this world is outstanding and the author really drags her readers into the story. From the beginning, I couldn't put it down. Danger, mystery, intrigue and oh yeah, lots of hot and steamy sex. Loved it and can't wait for another one.

Interesting and intriguing! The build up in this novel was fantastic. It really grabs you and will not let you go. The twist and turn were fantastic and kept the story moving. The world building was phenomenal.

Kristina is given as a mate to Tayln, Zacon and a human, Killer when she is accused of a crime she didn’t commit. She hates aliens and the punishments they give her. Will they find out who is killing aliens? Fast-paced read with loads of drama and suspense. This steamy sci-fi read has plenty of twists and turns and held my interest throughout. I loved it!

This is not a book for everyone, but it was a book I loved. The spirit and strength of Kristina was awesome. Killer, Taylon, and Zacon we so different but so much alike it was scary. Each man or alien brought a story of their own. I am not now and never will be a fan of spanking, but the sex scenes were HOT.

Sci-fi erotic romance with three hot males and a single stubborn female. Reverse harem with intense sexual scenes for a good portion of the book but I enjoyed them. Liked the plot and political structure that was interesting and unique to most science fiction romance. Would like to know more about this alien/human world.

This story was full of lots of action packed shoot outs, bar brawls, and assassination attempts. I actually enjoyed the non sexual parts of the story the most... it kinda felt like everytime she turned around one or more of her mates was starting to seduce her... it was just maybe too many sex scenes.

Piper knows Dark and she knows how to write it! This was an enjoyable read for me. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to more.
