The End of Everything: Book 3

Rate this book
Before the worst day of their lives, wild horses could not pull them together. Now, nothing can tear them apart...or so they thought. A chance meeting, a bad decision, a stormy night; and the fuse is lit to their most explosive 24 hours yet. When the dead roam the streets; when enemies prowl in the shadows, and when strangers are not all they seem, the only people Wren and Robyn can rely on are each other. They have fought through hell together, but now, for one of these sisters, today could be the end of everything.

I was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Wanting to escape life in a big city and concentrate more on working to live than living to work, I moved to the Outer Hebrides in the north-west of Scotland in 2004 and I have lived there ever since with my wife and dog.

I write post-apocalyptic, sci-fi, dystopian and horror fiction. I’ve released forty nine books across six different series - Safe Haven, The End of Everything, Unsafe, Relentless, The Burning Tree and Scares in Scotland.

In addition, most of my titles are now available as audiobooks narrated by Kim Bretton, so if you’re one of the many people who struggle to find the time to read, you can listen on the go.

This is where it really starts getting interesting in my opinion. Book 3 is better than the first 2 books.

I love these sisters so damn much! I love their sassy attitudes, their strength, power and connection. I want to have them as my sister. I never had one, just 3 brothers! They are bad ass and know how to kick ass. Still worried about what will happen when the ‘bad guys’ find them. They do have their picture. Anyway.... I love them, oh wait I already said that.
I found myself trying to imitate Kim Brettons beautiful accent and this north Louisiana born Texas transplant even made herself laugh! Her narration is exceptional.
Can’t wait for book 4!

Brilliant read

Absolutely brilliant series, the story gets better with each book. The story is fast paced and full of twists and turns which keep you on the edge of your seat. Action packed from beginning to end, really looking forward to seeing what lies ahead for the girls. A must read for anyone.

Another great installment in this series! As I listened to this book, I was reminded of the movie "Die Hard". Just when you think things are going to calm down and everything is going to be OK, something else happens. Wren and Robyn just can't seem to catch a break as they fight to stay alive. If it isn't zombies, it's evil men trying to rule to world.

This is non-stop action at its best, with the sisters getting into one fix after another but always managing to find a way out. When they find a monastery hidden in the woods, you would think that would be the sanctuary that they need for a little rest. Instead, it just creates more problems for them. A good/evil religious zealot always adds a lot to a story and this one does not disappoint. I would have liked to be able to reach into the book at times and throttle a couple of the more annoying tagalongs!

I love the banter and humor between the sisters and the author always seems to know when the reader needs a good laugh. One thing I love about this series is the fact that although Wren is only 15 and Robyn is 17, they seem to have more common sense and survival skills than the adults they encounter.

I can't wait for the next book to see what Mr. Artinian has in store for our intrepid heroines! The narrator, Kim Bretton, is absolutely perfect for this series and she does a fantastic job once again in her performance. I was given the chance to listen to the audiobook version of this book by the author and chose to review it.

Another great addition to the series! Continues to wow!

The End of Everything: Book 3 by Christopher Artinian and narrated by Kim Bretton is another great addition to the series! Recommend if you’ve been following this series or looking for a new zompoc adventure with strong female leads.

Wren and Robyn continue to make their way through the zompie apocalypse. Every day is a struggle. Every day it’s a new threat. Who’s a friend? Who’s a foe? This time the sisters unknowingly venture into a cult. We get a good amount zombie action, but it’s not as intense at the previous books (lots of other dangers). The sister’s relationship continues to grow and the banter continues. I enjoyed the pop-culture references/jokes. I once again listened to this straight through (who needs to sleep?).

The narrator, Kim Bretton, did a wonderful job again. I love how she brings the sisters to life.

Overall, I highly recommend this series, but starting from the beginning. There’s a reason these books get so many 5 star reviews.

Parental guidance/trigger warnings: religious fanatics, physical abuse, some swearing throughout, violence, death, psychos, or similar subject matter.

*I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you for allowing me to listen and review the book!

From my Audible review of books 1-3 box set:
I love the idea of two sisters against the world though like I’ve seen in other reviews I hate Robin at times. She does grow on you after a bit and calms down but it’s way too often she’s having a hissy fit or angering others for seemingly no reason instead of keeping her negativity to herself.

The accent was a bit hard at first only because I’m American but I quickly found it to help be more immersive than jarring.

Mostly the story was interesting, plausible and I liked Wren enough that I stopped hoping Robin would get eaten shortly in.

Dislikes: foreshadowing, I’m not big on it and it makes me feel like I know what’s going to happen to the point that I don’t have as much excitement to keep reading which is already hard with a box set because it’s so long, it’s harder to binge read anyways.

I also don’t like the end of the 3rd book. I want to know what happens but I hate the idea of where it left off. I’m sorry if that hurts anyone’s likelihood to DL this book because it is very good but the ending cliffhanger was not to my taste, as realistic as it is.
Overall I do recommend this series to anyone interested in Z-Apoc genre

Wren and Robyn have settled in nicely but of course in the zombie apocalypse you know something will happen. On the run again they find another new shelter with more survivors whose leader seems a bit off. During the night things go horribly wrong and they find themselves on the run again with an additional five people who have no clue how to survive in this new world. Wren and Robyn soon learn what they've always known, they can only count on each other in their fight for survival. Artinian once again pulls you into his story and never lets you go until the book is done. Looking forward to more of the sister's story.

I am loving this zombie adventure and following along with the girls. Their relationship is very interesting but I love the loyalty between them. They are a bit snobby though when they meet the others and that got to me, especially when they complained about ruth crying (she is a little child and just exposed to zombies, crawling at great heights, escaping fire, etc) - have a heart.

Also, I like that the girls josh each other alot..but some of it is very.. immature and boyish for teen girls, such as their usage of fart jokes. That could be due to the male author, but oh well! It doesn't ruin the book or anything, just makes it different.

Great story and characters

This was a really good story line. I enjoyed the sister's characters and the verbiage between them. I didn't give this series a 5 star because there were so many grammatical errors and spelling errors along with leaving story lines hanging and the ending was stupid...It left me wondering what happened to everyone and does the word ever come out of this....whatever happened to happy endings! Who makes and who doesn't! I am hoping that you finish up with a fourth and final book. Please have someone check the spelling.

The magician.

Author Christopher Artinian is truly amazing, every book in every one of his series’s are perfectly written, every character is a true soul which makes you think if you would do the same or like why don’t he shut up when danger, his magic is that he truly gives each life.
And Kim Bretton narration voice increases it 100 folds.

Absolutely
Without a doubt,
Recommend !!!

Excellent addition to the series

To tell the truth, I wasn't sure about starting this series. It was probably the excellent cover art and aggressive placement on FB that got me. I liked this book better than the 1st two. Great zombie series. Amazing characters and good writing. The series follows two Scottish sisters as they try to.find somewhere safe. This book found their dreams crushed which led them to a cliffside monastery. Can't wait to see what comes next.

This is the best book of the series so far, I think. Really enjoyed reading more about Wren and Robyn, Christopher writes so beautifully and we care very much about these characters and worry about what they are going through! Very much looking forward to their continuing adventures...if you haven't read these books yet you really should!

End of Everything 3

Here I am at the end of book 3 and cannot wait for book 4. It is that awesome! I hope you all are keeping up with Wren and Robyn as they travel the countryside getting into trouble. This time, people that helped to get away from a cult, have deserted them and took all the food along with the car. Now what is going to happen to them? 😈

Religious Cult! What could possibly go wrong?
This book has it all, fast pace action, great characters, believable storyline. Robyn and Wren, need to learn that family is first, strangers last. You can not help everyone and you can’t help people who don’t want your help. I can’t say it enough if you have not tried this author then you are missing out.

This was a bit better than the previous 2 books with a lot of action. There is still a lot of bickering between the sisters, though in this book it had the benefit of irritating the religious cultists. The sisters are getting pretty good at resourceful problem solving and I have no doubt that they will overcome the cliffhanger in the next book.

Non stop fast paced page turning frenzy

It just keeps getting better. You keep getting a false sense of security in thinking everything is OK now.... Until you turn the page!
OMG this guy can write awesome stories that you just can't put down!
I found this series after reading The burning tree series and then Safe Haven. They are ALL absolutely excellent.
A must read.

Amazing Storytelling

I'm running out of praises for this series. This author has taken us through so many scenarios, I'm wondering what's next. The commune characters were really foul but you just know they won't make it. I wonder if we'll run into them next book, will Susan be able to keep up, what's next? This is good stuff!

Great 3D volume to a really good series.

This is a great series about two sisters that are the “hero’s”. They are strong, smart and resourceful. My only complaint would be that I could tell how it would end about half way through the book. Still a great read

A real page turner

I enjoyed reading this series and fell in love with Wren soon as I started the first book but by the end of the series Robyn became my favorite. Great story and great characters. I hope there is more in the adventures of Wren and Robyn.

This great story continues. A world of flesh eating zombies, an army of thugs, a cult of weirdos, sisters that would do.anything for each other. What more does one want from this series of books.

Hey Chris

Hi. Love this series. Wren and Robin are so funny. I love their banter and quick come backs. My only issue is with who did the editing. There are a lot of errors that were missed. But the storyline and characters are so worth it. Onto the next book.😀😀😀

Kick butt heroines and zombies, what more could you want. Good writing, interesting jags in the story line. I find it charming how often I have to look up what a word means.
