Sixteen-year-old Kara Starr is running from her past.
As a Broadway star, her future is bright with hopes and dreams. But all that is snatched away and she escapes to the small town of Skyville, hoping to start a new life. It’s not easy when Ezra, Carter, and Jax, three hot guys from the theater club, ask her to audition for the school musical. Her first instinct is to refuse. Performing is part of her past. But the guys are so passionate about the musical…how could anyone say no?
They rehearse together. They spend time together. They start knocking down the walls Kara built around herself. She thought she abandoned her love for theater in New York. But the guys are proving otherwise. Can the Skyville boys open her heart to music again?
Mia Belle is the author of the YA contemporary romance series, The Boys Who Loved Me, Boys Next Door, Rich Boys Poor Girl, and The Bullies Who Loved Me. She's hard at work on her next book.
Nice feel-good story. Not really what I would call a reverse harem, with only a bit of kissing at the end. I also didn’t like how the polygamy was introduced (by an eleven year old! - just weird).
To be honest by the 3/4 mark I was begging for the girl and guys to not get together since I loved their friendship bonds - definitely would have been better as a normal contemporary book then a romance.
Either way, it’s a nice small book if you’re looking for some light hearted (clichéd) high-school drama with a mix of Broadway fame.
Misery. Thats how I felt reading this book. There’s obvious spelling mistakes and sentences repeated. and Jax, don’t even get me STARTED on him. He was way too obsessed, and I honestly thought he’d be the stalker. I feel as though the poly relationship didn’t work and I was so confused wtf was going on.
This was a cute read, but not very believable. There was very little oomph to the characters and most of it felt rushed. The I love yous also happened way too fast for me. Other than that, this was a nice little read.
This was a good book. Although there was only kissing in this book. It would be nice to see what happens to the guys. Do they make it to Broadway? Are they still going strong ? What now is the stalker still on jail or did he get released.

Kara was running from something when she moved into her grandmothers house & that’s 3 boys she meets will bring it out of her. This book is really good.
