Lynne Graham was born on July 30, 1956 of Irish-Scottish parentage. She has livedin Northern Ireland all her life. She grew up in a seaside village with herbrother. She learnt to read at the age of 3, and haven't stopped since then.
Lynne first met her husband when she was 14. At 15, she wrote her firstbook, but it was rejected everywhere. Lynne married after she completed adegree at Edinburgh University. She started writing again when she was athome with her first child. It took several attempts before she sold herfirst book in 1987 and the delight of seeing that first book for sale in thelocal newsagents has never been forgotten. Now, there are over 10 million ofher books in print worldwide.
Lynne always wanted a large family and has five children. Her eldest and heronly natural child is 19 and currently at university. Her other fourchildren, who are every bit as dear to her heart, are adopted. She has two9-year-olds adopted from Sri Lanka and a 5- and a 3-year-old adopted fromGuatemala. In Lynne's home, there is a rich and diverse cultural mix, whichadds a whole extra dimension of interest and discovery to family life. Thefamily lives in a country house surrounded by a woodland garden, which iswonderfully private. The family has two pets. Thomas, a very large andaffectionate black cat, bosses the dog and hunts rabbits. The dog is Daisy,an adorable but not very bright white West Highland terrier, who loves beingchased by the cat. At night, dog and cat sleep together in front of thekitchen stove. Lynne loves gardening, cooking, collects everything from oldtoys to rock specimens and is crazy about every aspect of Christmas.
A romantic, cute little romp of a tale that starts out with a vengeful H who's full of sexy assholery and a sweet, independent, petite Mary Sue heroine who puts him in his place after succumbing to his potent enchanted wood, of course. Add in an unexpected pregnancy, a tragic miscarriage, a sudden, second chance relationship, a feisty, greedy adorable little puppy and you'll get a very delightful story.
Alissandru, the hot billionaire H of this novel, is filled with anger and hate towards the 22 year old heroine Isla because he thinks she'd been his late brother's mistress. The H loathes Isla because he thinks she's a notorious, avaricious tramp just like her late sister Tania. It gets a little more complicated because Tania had been married to his late fraternal twin brother Paulu. Alissandru was the tall, handsome and alpha twin while Paulu had been the shorter, average looking, slimmer, and friendlier beta guy. The heroine's sister Tania had trapped Paulu into marriage by lying about a pregnancy. Tania had then gone on to cheat on poor Paulu, spend all his money and try ( unsuccessfully ) to get Alissandru to sleep with her too !
At the start of the novel, Alissandru discovers that Paulu has left all his money and his home on the Rossetti family compound, in Sicily, to Isla. As most asshole H's do in HPlandia, Alissandru jumps to the wrong conclusion and decides that Isla had to have been sleeping with Paulu in order to be the beneficiary of such largess:
Not deserving? Alissandru thought in outrage, recalling that little red-headed teenager, Isla Stewart, at his brother’s wedding six long years before. At barely sixteen years old, she had been rocking a sexually provocative outfit, parading her nubile curves and shapely legs in a clear sexual offer to the highest bidder, he reflected in disgust. Later that day too, he had seen her emerging from one of the bedrooms in a dishevelled state, only moments before one of his cousins left the same room, straightening his cuffs and tidying his hair. Obviously Isla was just like her sister, Tania, who had been brazen, wanton and dishonest.
The H had never thought to investigate what he'd seen, because it had been more convenient to condemn Isla just because she was Tania's little sister and he loathed Tania with every fiber of his being. The 16 year old heroine had actually been sexually harassed by his lecherous, sleazy cousin Fantino, who had followed her into the bedroom. The poor heroine had been minding her own business, when the skeevy Fantino had slipped in quietly and touched her without her permission. Isla managed to escape unharmed but the situation had been very emotionally traumatic for the then 16 year old heroine.
After all, nobody likes to be caught off guard and touched when they don't want it or least expect it:
The MC's meet again when Alissandru goes to Scotland to inform Isla about her sudden good fortune. He's determined to purchase his late brother's house from her but he starts off on the wrong foot when he loses his temper, insults her and accuses her of being Paulu's secret penis polisher. Isla doesn't back down but defends herself valiantly against these horrible allegations. A snowstorm strands them together in the little crofter's cottage and they're unable to fight their strong sexual attraction. Hot sex ensues but, in true asshole fashion, the H is distant, moody, cold and filled with regret the morning after. The MC's part on unfriendly terms and the heroine vows to never contact him again. But, this promise is broken after she discovers she's pregnant. The donkey douchebag's reaction to this shocking information, is to ask if he's the father !
After her pregnancy is confirmed, Alissandru behaves in a manner that's contrary to how H's usually act in this situation: he tells Isla, bluntly, that marriage is not an option. He offers to take care of the baby financially but he's not willing to surrender his freedom. I think, at this point, he was still very prejudiced against Isla, because he couldn't see that she was a different person from her sister Tania. Isla, on the other hand, was still blindly loyal to her dead undeserving sister's memory and was determined not to take any handouts from the H. She was deeply hurt at the way he reacted to her pregnancy but she also refused to consider marriage to a man who didn't love her.
This is the H, Alissandru:
This is the heroine, Isla:
It's tragic that Isla suffers a miscarriage, just when the H is warming up to the idea of fatherhood. This was a major turning point in the story, because it heralds a significant change in the respective character arc for each MC. The heroine becomes sad, embittered and a little cynical after the loss of her unborn baby while the H starts to show a softer, warmer side when compared to his previous austere persona. Isla's grief gives her the strength to refuse all of Alissandru's efforts to comfort and help her. In her mind, and perhaps rightfully so, his change of heart has come too little too late. The heroine wasn't willing to hear anything he had to say:
This is when the H realizes that he cares a lot for a woman who no longer wants him in her life. I found this to be the most apt punishment for him, after the horrible way he'd treated her in the first half of the story. It was fascinating to see how this strong, tough guy started to flounder when he realized that he was losing her:
Where the hell was she going? Would she be safe there? Would someone be looking out for her? Looking after her? She looked like hell! With difficulty, Alissandru suppressed his concern, acknowledging that it was time for him to move on. He could hardly force Isla to talk to him or to listen to him. He had walked away from her in Scotland and now he had to do it again. He could not understand the wrenching sense of loss attacking him or the sensation that something in his world was very wrong.
‘I’ll stay in touch,’ he breathed in a driven conclusion.
Isla, who had hardened her heart to him, responded in the following manner:
Good luck with that, Isla thought wryly, knowing she was not about to unblock his number on her phone. Alissandru Rossetti was in the past now and only wounding memories would result from any further contact from him. She had to find a new focus in life, she told herself urgently, and embrace her future alone.
The MC's are then separated again, for about 2 months, when Isla's goes to house-sit for an elderly couple who were on vacation. They are reunited again when the heroine travels to the Rossetti compound in Sicily to inspect her new house. Her plan was to spend a few weeks' vacation there with her little dog Puggle and then sell the property to the H. I LOVED Puggle ! He reminded me of Harold Mongrelpup with his continuous high pitched yapping and his suspicious scoping out of strange men. Lol. Puggle and Alissandra had a love-hate relationship. During their first encounter, Puggle bit the H on the ankle, then he simmered down and resorted to snarling and hateful glances, but this eventually changed to a manly truce after the H started to bribe the little dog with lots of tasty treats to eat. Man and dog did grow to love each other by the epilogue though...
This is Puggle:
The best part of the novel occurred during the second half that's set in Sicily. The MC's had a tempestuous, sexy reunion with a besotted and kinder H who's determined to woo his woman back into his arms and a heroine who's tenacious in her mindset to stay away from his magical penis. The tone and atmosphere of this part of the novel was a lot lighter and filled with many sexy and humorous little scenes. Isla's tenacity was short-lived, however, because this H was a guy who's willing to climb houses to get his girl ! Alissandru literally climbed up the side of her house after she'd locked him out and refused to give in to his manly charms.
Isla cocked a delicate coppery brow. ‘Seriously?’ she jibed. ‘You storm in here at nine o’clock on a Friday evening, force me out of the bath and demand that we do a deal about a house that I’m not even sure I want to sell yet? Do you think that’s reasonable?’
Alissandru angled his arrogant dark head back, his lean, powerful body acquiring a stunningly insolent air of relaxation.
‘I’m not in a reasonable frame of mind. I’m never in a reasonable frame of mind around you,’ he murmured thickly.
‘And why is that?’ Isla prompted dry-mouthed, her skin prickling with sudden awareness, wicked heat darting up between her thighs. His eyes, framed by slumberous black lashes, glinted like liquid gold.
‘Because every time I see you I want you and that’s all I can think about.’
‘You did not just say that,’ Isla whispered shakily, her face burning.
‘Tell the truth and shame the devil,’ Alissandru challenged huskily. ‘All I want to do right now is rip that robe off you and sink into you over and over again...’
I loved how he wooed her and demanded that she go public with their relationship because he wasn't willing to be her sexy secret lover. That part made me laugh so hard, because it's not often that a boorish tough guy H is so sensitive and cute. Their road to happiness is blocked temporarily when the H discovers that his late brother had left another, more recent will; in the final will, all the money and property is left to the H instead of to Isla. But Alissandru reveals how much he cares for Isla when he tells his lawyer that he will still honour the terms of the previous will and pay the heroine for the property. The pushy lawyer refused to heed those orders and created a mini disaster by revealing the truth to the heroine. It all ended up well after the H's best female buddy Grazia intervened to give our lovers a helping hand.
A few highlights of this novel:
1. The H's mother Constantia was actually a sweet, kind and wonderful woman to the heroine and to Puggle the dog. A mother in law who loves to petsit and mollycoddle your dog, is the best kind of mother in law !
2. The H punished his lecherous cousin Fantino after he discovered what the bastard had tried to do to Isla when she'd been 16 years old. Fantino got a busted lip, a swollen eye, and a bruised face from the H and was also forced to apologize to Isla for the way he had treated her.
3. The H grovelled very nicely and made up for all his earlier assholery.
In the cute epilogue, set 4 years in the future, the MC's are parents to 4 kids and more dogs. They have 2 sets of twins: identical 3 year old daughters and fraternal twin baby boys.
Safety: No OW, no OM, no cheating. Both MC's had been celibate during their short separation. The H himself told her he'd been celibate because:
‘ You’ve spoiled me for other women,’

I liked it but hero was a softie and I like my heroes hard and alpha. Heroine was ok I couldn’t warm up to her for some reason. Also miscarriages make me sad and depressed. All the talk about dogs was boring. Not the best LG book in my opinion but if you are her fan read this! Safe: heroine is a virgin and they are both faithful!
I really liked this story. I wasn't sure at first because the hero was such a jerk, I was afraid it would be too angsty. It was but it also had a light hearted air throughout the story too. The dog Puggle and the H's antics were kind of funny. I loved when He but him the second time, the hero's mother checked to make sure the dogs teeth were okay instead of asking the hero of he was hurt. Very cute. And the scene where he crawled up to the roof be sure she wouldn't answer the door was funny too. I liked that the hero was gobsmacked by the heroine. She was strong and I liked that she had a backbone. When she had the miscarriage, I liked how both she and the hero reacted to it. She by blocking his phone number, and he by becoming human. It had a great look ten years down the road and two sets of twins too. It was very sweet. I love when Lynne Graham gets it right and to me this was so right. I loved it.
Ivy has the definitive review for this one, so please consult hers for more details.
This was a fun, breezy story of an arrogant hero who misjudges the heroine as being just like her tart sister - even after having sex with her and not realizing she was a virgin. The misunderstandings continue when the heroine finds she is pregnant after a one night stand and when she has a miscarriage.
The miscarriage and the death of the heroine's sister and the hero's brother would cast too big of a pall over typical romance, but this is Lynne Graham and she's brought out the big fluff guns:
a cute biting dog an idyllic villa in Sicily a sweet mother in law, a cynical, but helpful OW/bff a hero who says whatever is on his mind and he gets increasingly sweet and sentimental a nice comeuppance for the handsy cousin who assaulted the h when she was 16 a very fertile heroine
Really, it's too cute and the tragedies are the only thing keeping this bit of fluff grounded to the real world.
"The Italian's Inherited Mistress" is the story of Isla and Alissandru.
Basically, the h and H both lose their siblings in an accident- the H his twin and the h her much older estranged sister- who were in a troubled marriage. When the H's brother leaves the family estate to the h, the H storms to her house, accuses her of being a giant hoe and gold-digger, sexes her without realizing the V card and runs away. When the h gets pregnant, and he doubts the paternity, only for her to have a miscarriage. Thankfully she takes a break from him, only for him to chase and seduce her again. Until this point the hero was a vile, antipathic , angry man with insane amount of garbage in his brain and mouth, and I wanted to slap him. He hurt the h again and again, and she took it all because the sex was good. A mess. It was in the second half when they started banging regularly and when a surprise interrupted their interlude, that the story got a little better. We got a change in the H's behavior, loads of crying from the h's side, angst and a sweet HEA. Also his grovel was convincing.
My favorite part of it was Puggle the dog though. And kinda the epilogue.
I loved this book and that was unexpected because I didn't really like the blurb much. I thought the book would be bland but it was far, far from it!
The plot is slightly different from the other HP books and that's what made this special. Alissandru and Isla actually get to know each other and they both really do want to be together, which is what I loved the most and as Alissandru thinks, they are meant to be!
I liked Alissandru's character. He comes across as a bad-tempered, prejudiced individual at the start but redeems himself as the story progresses and Isla... she is an h with a backbone. Oh! She is also a red-head and LG's red-headed h's are my favourites.
I liked other minor characters especially the H & h's respective best friends and also the hungry little Puggle, who bit Alissandru twice and as Isla put it, he deserved to be bitten hard! Loved how he climbed the wall, how he holds her hand and how he smiled when he read her classic farewell letter.
LG has delivered back to back amazing HP's this year and this one add's another feather to her cap.
Nice story. Isla is the sister of hero's stepsister. Since stepsister was a gold digger and a slut, hero, with his low IQ, thinks she's a gold digger and a slut too, because at a marriage party he saw her, still a teenager, dressed as a slut and coming out of a bedroom with one of his cousin, a notorious playboy. When her sister dies, h/H have a one night stand. He thinks she's a gold digger because her sister left her a property who was of his family. This hero was awful for most part of the book, was biased because he thought she was a slut and a gold digger as her sister, but eventually he understand how much wrong he was about her. She was harassed by his cousin when he thought she was flirting with him. This was a nice book, easy to read and with some angsty part.
Great read with LG trademark dramatic H and a h who doesn't let H walk all over her. The basic premise is that H's twin is married to h's avaricious sister who once came on to the H; which is the reason for his dislike / hatred for the sister. The siblings die and H's brother leaves his property to h and that is how they connect. Their story has a surprise pregnancy, a miscarriage and then towards the end, another pregnancy. I liked how h is upset with H and blocks his number after her miscarriage. H feels very guilty for his less than nice reaction to her pregnancy but he changes his mind but by then its too late. When they meet again, H is the one actively running after h; which I loved most of all H starts off very prejudiced against h but he doesn't stick to them till the end; he believes her fairly early on and later on apologises for all his misconceptions h fights with H, tells him off when he upsets herand in general stands up for herself very well H is genuinely nice but not a beta character; he doesn't taker her anger lying down H climbs a drainpipe into her room when she refuses to open the front door and beats up her pervy cousin once he knows that the cousin assaulted the teenaged h The story has a humurous vibe to it and their banter is hilarious Wannabe OW is H's childhood bestie who once acts ultra possessively in front of h and when h remarks on it H tells her she should know him better and should have seen that his friend was overdoing it; his bestie was trying to get a rise out of h; he is not the kind to let any girl cling to him Towards the end, OW plays a part in bringing them together All in all, the book has all LG's trademarks; fast story, arrogant H, sweet h but the twist is that in her own sweet and cute way, h has a spine and doesn't hesitate to use it. She knows what's good for her and what is not and she stands up for herself very well. H is into h when they reconnect and doesn't let up in his pursuit. Overall a great one and definitely on my keeper shelf

Loved it
Allisandru is A Cold Ruthless Sexy Sicilian Billionaire who finds himself in a rage when he discovered his deceased twin brother left his legacy to none other than Isla, twin brother's wife's sister. Allisandru hated Isla he was prejudiced against her because of his dislike for Isla's sister, sister in law, who also died with his twin. With both deceased he transferred his dislike and angst to Isla, when he met her to convey her new fortune and offer to buy his brother's house. Imagine a macho billionaire hero having some discomfort in having to 'rough it up' within a modest home in a cold blizzard. A law into himself, A finds himself obeying nature and was left stranded with the h, their fatal attraction was predominantly warranted ever since they met at their respective sibling's wedding. After much argument and heated word exchanges Isla offered her hospitality. Much to A's chargain he softened his treatment and soon finds himself looking fwd to the stay. With a blow on the head, a concussed H, manage to persuade Isla to submit to their budding attraction and they shared a passionate night. The next day , A callously treat the intimacy as a mistake whereas a swooning Isla came crashing down since their passionate night was her first and the idiot didn't realise it. The H left his contact in cases of consequences and left without remorse. Although he was prejudiced against Isla, sleeping with her already spoilt him for other women.
Isla soon finds herself pregnant and had to contact A. With much reservations and dignity she contacted him via ph and informed him. A was astounded and resentful, while Isla warmed to the idea he was in the cold. He doubted her lack of birth control and her being pregnant (a ploy her sister used) and if she is pregnant was he the father? Well he was hit in the head so will cut him some slack for not recognising her lack of promiscuity. Isla already started to use her inheritance so she figured she didn't need A's help. His doubts were his downfall and Isla wanted nothing to do with him. He had to bulldozed himself into having a say in his baby's life, despite his doubts of parentage
When A finally warmed to his baby, Isla had tragically lost the little one. Crashing their dreams, A never got the chance to say he wanted this child so Isla assumed the worst and vanished to pick after her wounds. Much to A's frustration he wanted to share his feelings and grief but couldn't find her anywhere. Isla liked animals and she took a job to dog-sit for her friend's family and this gave her the space, allowing her to grieve and move away from A.
Isla finds her self going to Sicily after the job completion. As soon as A found out she was in the housed she inherited from is brother, he rushed to her ,they clashed and soon passion ruled over all else. Soon they embarked on a secret affair, using protection this time. A wasn't happy hiding, since he wasn't ashamed of her. By this time, he realised he was wrong about her and his option was to revise his opinion about her. He recognised that she was unique and special unlike the women he was with.
After 6 weeks into the affair, Isla finds her self pregnant a second time. Isla was astounded but happy for the second time. She was also insecure because the affair was meant to be temporary and no pregnancy was discussed. Even when she got pregnant the first time A didn't offer marriage. On her way to his house to give him the news ,Poor Isla finds herself in a tangled heartbreaking situation. She found out from the lawyer that another will was made that supersedes the one she was give and it was A who inherited everything. She didn't want pity not to be A charity case she packed her bags and her pooch and left.
A discovered her absence and realised that he loves her. With help of his best friend Isla was at house secured. A thrashed into the home and profess his love and went on knees with the marriage proposal. The couple hashed everything bout and found their HEA with two sets of twins for children and dogs...
LG this was superb...💋💋 Love the H and h!

Another solid read from Lynne Graham. It wasn’t my favorite of hers, nor was it my least favorite of hers either, but it was a good read that I could easily get into and breeze through without too many issues.
The biggest thing that stood out in this one was the definitely the interaction between Isla and Alissandru throughout the book. They had some really heated exchanges, and they really butted head a lot. They were passionate fights that usually lead to certain bedroom activities that were just as heated and passionate as the fights were. It was their foreplay for sure. And some of these heated arguments were very aggressive more aggressive than I was expecting in part because they were two dynamic personalities that wouldn’t back down from a fight. She stood up to him while he pushed her buttons as well to create that explosive dynamic between them. It was good. It was entertaining. It was fun to see it play out because it was so over top and it hidden so much that was bubbling beneath the surface. They were fiery combination.
The love scenes were as combustible as their fighting scenes. They really sparked off of each other from the moment that they met. There was that instant heat between them and an immediate attraction to one another. They didn’t last long until they succumbed to their passions because it was so strong. I do wish it was drawn out a little bit more, and they were stuck in the house for a few days with all this bubbling beneath the surface before they were together because that would have added great heat, sexual tension, and just so much anticipation to the story. I’m not fan of the hero and the heroine jumping into bed the day that they met just because the attraction is so intense, and that kind of was what this one was like, yet at the same time cause they did all that intense fighting I could see where it was heading and knew that they wouldn’t be able to fight it for long, but I still would have liked a little bit more build up. But when they did come together numerous occasions in the book, they were just as steamy and hot as I expected them to be. They really had the chemistry going on for them, which really translated on the page nicely. And it was really funny to see the scene where he climbed through her window. Never seen a hero do that before.
There was a little bit of angst in this one, which I enjoyed. Mostly it had to do with the misunderstandings that Alissandru had over Isla’s character and believing that she was like her sister, who wasn’t exactly perfect and even made a pass at hm once while married to his brother. Because of those misunderstandings was what lead to those passionate fights between them as well as a lot of tension. He didn’t treat her admirably in the beginning and did somethings that weren’t exactly nice and caused massive hurt for her, but once he was corrected of his belief his attitude towards her completely changed and he treated her accordingly. He was more willing to have relationship and acknowledge the fact that he needed her in his life after all. He wanted her close.
It was pretty clear early on in the story that they were developing feelings for one another especially on Alissandru’s side. They went through a tragic event, which caused Isla to push him away while he wanted to not be shut out and close to her despite the terrible thing that happened. It wasn’t clear to her, which was the reason the conflict between them, but I saw that he had feelings for her about halfway through so that was a nice to see evidence than have him be a complete jerk the entire time in order to suppress the feelings that he had for her. He embraced it very early on even if the words didn’t leave his lips.
I will say that I do wish that they developed a little deeper in the emotional stakes. There were so many issues going on and a lot to deal with already, but I would have liked to have seen them go beneath the surface a bit more and dig a little deeper. It was done on a surface level, but I think it just needed another layer to it. I didn’t feel the outpouring of emotions like I expected to. For example, Alissandru’s heartbreak over loosing his twin didn’t go into a lot of detail or the pain he felt over that loss. Yes, he told us that he felt that loss, but I didn’t feel it. I think that would have been a great conversation for Isla and Alissandru to have in the book, but didn’t. Also the feelings that Isla had over being abandoned by her mother and not raised with her sister. Stuff like that.
Also I wished there were a few more tender moments between the pair of them too. There was a little bit in the beginning where she was tending to him when he got injured, which was very sweet, but soon turned to carnal activities. I wish the focus of that scene was more of the tenderness and caring than the sexual stuff, and it kind of almost took away from the tenderness of the scene. I think they did have some romantic and tender moments but they were kind glossed over and just summarized instead of going into more detail. It would have been nice to have a balance between those scenes and the sensual ones.
Though this book wasn’t perfect, it was still pretty darn good. There was a lot heat and a lot passion whether it were passionate fights or passionate love scenes they had a plethora of them in the book. It was hard not see them spark off the page anytime they were in the same room together. There was a lot of tension and friction, and I enjoyed seeing that play out on the pages. I wish there were more emotionally in depths scenes as they got to know each other on a deeper level, and I wish there were a few more sweet and tender scenes between them because when they were in there they were really good, and I wanted more of that. Then that would have really put it over the top for me. Other than that, it was a good story and I enjoyed it.

I know all Mills and Bion covers look nearly the same but every book has its own style of story, it's just the same as any other book a readers buys. The Italian's Inherited Mistress has a family that just like in real life it has its argument. Alissandru Rossetti is grieving over his twins death. Billionaire Alissandru is not a forgiving man and he becomes outraged of his brothers will. Alissandru Rossetti is a fierce bitter man who hated his brothers dead wife and his wife's sister. Will Billionaire Alissandru ever change?
The H (Alissandru, see Ivy H’s review... it’s awesome) was so cold, arrogant, and nasty at first... and then he started to change. And I’ll be darned if he didn’t completely win me over.
A lot of really cute and humorous moments and unexpected twists.
Him being celibate during their separation was a big plus, and an important part of making his transformation believable.
With the cute Epilogue to wrap it up, this was a great read.
Trigger warning: miscarriage. It seems to happen fairly early in her pregnancy and is handled with sensitivity.
The Italian’s Inherited Mistress was a billionaire and virgin romance that really showed off the level of heat and complexity that Lynne Graham is capable of in her work. There was as much passion as there was drama between our main characters. And the dramatics were interesting in their own right, thanks to the tangled up, complicated past they had together.
Alissandru and Isla were basically an opposites attract couple. She was a former waitress who was saving up for university while he was the wealthy head of his family’s business in Sicily. There were hidden depths to both characters; things that were unexpected and made me like them more for what they had been through and accomplished. Read More
This was such a fun romance to read. She is so fiery and independent that she has no prob!em putting this alpha male in place from time to time. He really is sweet in not being able to resist her but so bewildered as to why? It is just so cute. When insults and mistrust fly she has no problem telling him the truth and in the end he has no trouble admitting he was wrong. But the dog, Puggle does steal a little bit of the limelight. There is no force or abuse in this story but there are some fun moments.
Yearning for a fresh start, Isla Stewart escapes to her recently inherited Sicilian villa. The last person she expects to meet there is Alissandru Rossetti, the ruthless billionaire who once helicoptered into her life, and changed it irrevocably with his sizzling seduction! Alissandru wants what’s rightfully his—Isla’s inheritance. But with the attraction between them as scorching as ever, what Alissandru wants more is Isla…back in his bed!
I'm not sure what is going on this week, but this is the second book that I had the feeling that I've already read. It was pleasant and sweet to read but the story-line was quite common. If it wasn't for the ending, that it was quite different from the other book I've read, it would have been indifferent.
Ok I rarely give books five stars but this book kept me up till almost two am because I couldn’t put it down. Alissandru was handsome sexy and rich, the man was gorgeous and he hated Isla because of her sister. I don’t want to tell you the story because I don’t want to spoil it. The story doesn’t have one boring page in it. The story doesn’t have endless pages of internal dialogue. I loved that every lose end was nicely tied by the end. I loved that I laughed out loud reading this story and I had to tell my daughter why, Isla’s little dog bit Alissandru and his mother picked up the dog and checked his teeth to make sure he was okay. The story was perfect, like life it was a roller coaster ride. I recommend this book highly.
