From a young age, I struggled to find the answers to what I think of are life's fundamental questions: Who am I? and Why am I alive? I found those answers for myself after much study and circumspection, culminating in strict fasting and meditation on top of Moak Mountain in South Korea more than 30 years ago.

What I discovered opened up a new life and a new world for me. Since then, I've sought to find ways to help others answer those questions for themselves, and live healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives as a result. All of my work is focused on developing methods for this and sharing them with as many people as possible. I believe when enough people know their true nature and purpose and are empowered to live by it, the world will become a place of dreams; heaven will be expressed on earth.

This is the purpose and content of all of my books. I hope they enrich your life by reading them.

Classified by symptom, this easy to understand guide helps alleviate common ailments through the use of exercises that focus on the body's meridians, the pathways that travel throughout the body to deliver life energy from head to toe. With chapters and an appendix that offer a basic understanding of this intricate network and how blockages can become the symptoms we experience, the book's clean, concise catalog of exercises makes it easy to explore the exercises for yourself. The "Symptom/Benefit Index" could have been a bit more inclusive, but overall, this book is very helpful if you are looking for a different approach to self-care.

Ilchi Lee does a fantastic job writing books that are straight forward and simple to follow. Having an idea of various exercises I can incorporate into my existing DahnMuDo and Yang Tai Chi practices is key to keeping it interesting. I've only been doing Tai Chi since 2019, but I've been doing yoga since 2001 - and these particular exercises are accessible to beginners and really do help the ailments they're supposed to help.
