They're my boys now - the four heirs of Delta. Together we’re a team ... a family. Five broken, brutal, possibly sociopathic people, and we are all that stands between the world and the powerful, corrupt Delta corporation.
We have no idea what we’re doing, but somehow we are determined to stop them. Permanently. We just need leverage ... irrefutable evidence of their corruption.
And we need it now. Before the vote that will change everything. Only there are a few other issues to deal with first. Dante in prison for murder, blood coated roses showing up on my doorstep, and my bio-mom reaching all new levels of insanity.
For the first time we might be completely out of our depth ... but we won’t give up. Not until the final battle is played out. Not until the war has been won.
*This dark contemporary romance features one girl and four sexy, dangerous boys but is NOT a reverse harem.* Includes a sneak peek of chapter one of Princess Ballot.

I am glad I got this over with to be honest. It’s not that I hated Riley but the 8000 times the word “butterfly” is mentioned got old already in book one and I really didn’t need to be reminded every other page how special she is. Because everybody was trying to get into her pants and kept telling her how amazing/hot/strong she is.
What I disliked the most is the whole Chosen One vibe she gave off. Only Buffy gets away with that title in my book. She’s a nobody and suddenly she has 4 gorgeous guys all fawning over her, protecting her and letting her in their circle, treating her like family in barely a few months time? You know, the all the girls want to be her and all the boys want to be with her type of chick. Puh-lease.
Also, the girl can’t stop getting kidnapped all the time, and as if she wasn’t special enough up until this point: .
And then Beck... I think he patended the words “I’m not letting you out of my sight Riley”. He also shits money so he could probably really buy said patent.
This series lots its edge the more I read it. It was interesting and mysterious in book one, but now it's kinda the typical book that every other books has - where the male changes for his female. Beck was great, but something happened with the writing and it made him become just Riley's boyfriend instead of the leader of the successors. He's supposed to be this commanding, powerful and dangerous man, but he lost his edge the more he spent with Riley. I feel like Riley made him weak. Also, I didn't like how Riley became ‘badass’ without any training, and that she was the one coming up with the plans and deciding when she's new to this, while the boys were trained since their births. Just didn't sit right with me. This is something many authors has done - you meet the guy, he's perfect and then he gets together with the main female and he changes. It sucks. The story itself wasn't all that either. It lacked depth - when something said happened, I didn't feel it. Overall, I'm glad I'm finished with this series. It had potential, but lost it.

”You are my life, Riley. My fucking life, heart and soul. Without you, there is no fucking me.”
Book 3 in the dark Legacy series following Riley, Beck, Dylan, Jasper and Evan. This is not a reverse harem story. It’s dark, thrilling and deliciously addicting.
I’m really sad that this series is over. I’m never going to be able to get enough of the Heirs of Delta.
This series has had me hooked from the start, with all of the suspense and danger and trying to figure out who was behind what and who was coming next.
Yes, some of the situations were over the top for teenagers... but it’s fiction so stuff like that doesn’t bother me. It just adds to the heart pounding action.
”You belong to me, Riley Jameson. Say the fucking words.”
Now can we just talk about Sebastian Roman motherfucking Bennett. I fell in love with this possessive, over the top asshole in the first story and knew my love for him would only grow but what I didn’t expect was for him to melt both my heart and panties simultaneously in this book. The guy was so fucking swoony, I couldn’t deal! He’s so cold, calculating and ruthless one minute and then he’s being bought to his knees by Riley the next and I just lapped it up.
”You are not going to win, Sebastian. I will submit to no man.”
Riley, I loved her. She’s a kick ass, take no prisoners kind of girl and that is my favourite sort of heroine. Yes she may have frozen in some situations in this book where she could’ve kicked ass, but to me that just made everything seem more believable.
If you haven’t started this series you really need to. Deliciously dark and dangerous. It will have you addicted from the very first page, heart pounding and shouting out loud. Secrets and lies, deceit and betrayal. Love and hurt. This series had it all and I would definitely recommend it to any one who likes dark, action packed books.
Ahhh this was an amazing conclusion to the Dark Legacy series. Riley, Beck, Jasper, Evan and Dylan were just so fantastic. I was consumed with this bully romance from the getgo. It was in fact so much more than a bully romance. It was just next level! Furthmore, I loved the sizzling chemistry between Beck and Riley and how connected they were. This is definitely one of the best series I've ever read!
Overall this story was HOT AF, mysterious, compelling and SO SO addicting.. I could not get enough of the Delta heirs and the secrets and lies surrounding them! 5 stars! ~Ratula
This is the last book in the trilogy finally closing the door on Beck and Riley’s journey. Everything is put on the line here the stakes high as the heirs decide to take on Delta playing them at there own game winner takes all. This one focuses its efforts on finally taking Delta down there’s also some added danger that is affecting Riley that is completely separate from her new life as a heir. Someone other than a rival organisation wants her dead something her boys won’t let happen.
Riley Beck Dylan Evan and Jasper are all working together to accomplish their goals. Riley’s having some trust issues not surprising considering all she has learned about her life, Sebastian is typical Beck major protective over Riley and the chemistry between them in this one is again steaming hot. Then there’s Dylan’s fighting certain feelings towards his best friends woman and Dante wanting forgiveness for his part in Riley’s pain. There’s a whole lot going on here that needs to be traversed before everyone can again breathe easy.
This series has been a fabulous ride and I’m looking forward to reading Dylan’s book next. My heart did hurt for him slightly here having unrequited feelings just sucks and I so want him to get his own slice of happiness as well, I do for all the boys but Dylan especially, Totally recommend this series it really has been great.
This was so freaking good! Especially the second half which was so action-packed I barely took a breath! I'm hoping that ending means more is coming. I need more Delta Heirs in my life!!
I was underwhelmed and mostly skimmed this last book. The series is full of tropes that don't carry because there's little actual plot or character development. Riley is full of dumb decisions and tears. She literally cries every chapter. She has tragedy in her life, but it gets pushed out by the shallow and petty.
One of the hardest things to deal with was the insta love. One, the girl is 17. Two, she ends up living with him - why? She's 17! She can't even do her own dishes, orders out, and probably can't do her own laundry but ok let's put her in an adult relationship and pretend that's gonna work. This girl, who falls apart at every little thing, living with a guy. Like, at least try and make some of this believable.
Time was all over the place in these books, too. The story is referenced as taking place over months but if you actually count out the time that's not right. For me, if I can't trust the timeline, I lose interest in the book.
Let's also talk about the disturbing messages of the book. Like equating dominance with creepy possessiveness. At one point she is actually grateful he gives her a choice! Um, no, making a choice is your right as a human being; that's not a "honey that's so sweet" moment. Instead of sticking up for herself, she basically screams at him and then sleeps with him in an endless cycle of bimbo. Cue the eye rolling.
Another disturbing message: that all women dislike each other. Uh...what? Seriously, Riley has only one female friend. The rest of the women in the books are shrews who are "just jealous of her" and try and tear her down. One even arranges a gang rape that thankfully doesn't go all the way. This view that women are catty B's with nothing better to do but drool over men and tear each other apart over them is so misogynistic. It's small comfort that Riley calls a couple girls out in the final book for spending their time working against other women. Too little to late, especially when she's just as bad, calling them names and making them feel useless.
The plot is basically a ridiculous series of Riley getting injured, getting rescued by the guys, sex, fighting, and kidnappings. This girl is TSTL for real - not taking death threats seriously, or getting drunk around strangers, or, you know, not having or developing any real survival skills outside that half a day in book 1. To be honest, she doesn't have any skills regardless. One could count her driving if it wasn't clearly a plot device to try and make her seem interesting. And it bugs me that she refers to adult men as "my boys" all the time. She doesn't own them and they are men, not boys. Pet peeve of mine.
I'll admit to disappointment in the series. I had hoped it would be better. If it had to have tropes, then I hoped for plot twists and solid world building. Instead, I got a shallow read. If you like the tropes and dont need as much plot as me, you might enjoy this series.
”You are my life, Riley. My fucking life, heart and soul. Without you, there is no fucking me.”
I’m really sad that this series is over. I’m never going to be able to get enough of the Heirs of Delta.
This series has had me hooked from the start, with all of the suspense and danger and trying to figure out who was behind what and who was coming next. Filled with heart racing scenes and swoon worthy moments, my favorite heirs take on their elders!! The twists and turns were unbelievably amazing and frightening in their intensity!!
I feel so draw to the other three guys and I so wish to meet the ladies that will finally both tame and sooth their tortured hearts. I'm curious to watch their inner cave man come stalking out!!
Beck and her relationship was everything the chemistry was amazing? I will read whatever else these authors write because they know what their doing!
Too many unnecessary plot points for a concluding book that is less than 300 pages. I don't know why street racing was ever a part of this. it's completely extraneous and should have been cut or made more central to the story. ["br"]>["br"]>
This ended the series quite nicely. I didn't think the threads would come together so well. I do hope Jaymin Eve and Tate James continue to write in this world. After all there are three other heirs who are still single!
I was so freaking excited when I knew it was getting closer to the day this book was coming out I waited for what felt like years! Yes dramatic. I honestly would’ve waited longer if that meant that the product Tate and Eve put through felt finished, polished, and thorough. It didn’t. There were a lot of twists and turns and I felt like there were ideas/scenarios put in here that had me tilt my head to the side. Like how there’s now a serial killer introduced into the book and of course he’s targeting young heiresses. I mean I get they (the authors) wanted to have someone who could be a scapegoat/benefactor for all of the crap Delta and Huntley did to the next in line, but he was completely working alone. Which didn’t even fit into what was going on, why not at least tie it into someone from delta or Huntley to make it flow better with the book? I mean it’s basically a story within another story, it felt like the authors were grasping at straws for ideas. I also get this is not a RH. I get it, I was warned, I understand, but I cannot help but feel a tad disappointed because you knew that Dylan and Dante were in love with the lead character. The Dylan factor never got resolved it just said in the end that “their relationship wasn’t the same” blah blah blah. And then Dante, the mess of his situation annoys me, he betrayed her from the moment he became friends with her and she forgave him... like after a few days?! Like I got she understood the situation but I mean come on, your life is a lie, everything orchestrated from the beginning, I mean come the heck on! I mean he basically said it started meaning more and ect. Then he got his “happy ending”? With Eddie? Because she’s basically second best. Idk the whole Dylan/Dante/Sebastian situation annoyed me and left much to be desired. That and Riley was just portrayed so disappointingly. She just didn’t kick butt, what was the point in wasting my time reading that’s she’s getting all this training and lessons if she didn’t really use it and froze up all.the.time? I mean for the love of everything holy why did you try so hard to make her sound so badass (basically a hood girl, who races cars, was scrappy ect.) those characteristics were lost by book two and book three they were non-existent. My only consolation was that there was some steam in this book to keep some of the reading going and sadly, that the series is over. I usually despair when the end is closing on a beloved series. This last book was really sub-par speaking as a huge Eve fan. I can only think this stemmed from her co-writing a book. Again I get the whole this “isn’t a RH” deal but then why introduce so many men 3 of which really love her and she loves them too ... this book was not satisfying. Why is it so hard to find a solid KU read these days??
My expectations for this series were just far too high because it missed it's mark. It's tough to say with such amazing authors cowriting this but I just never fell in love with the story or any of the characters. Riley the heroine never redeemed herself in my eyes and honestly I saw her as too weak and out of place in this world. Lots of the characters behaviors and things they would say just came off as very inauthentic. I particularly struggled with Beck and his sudden turn around/obsession with Riley once she arrives at the Academy. I also found the big showdown to be a bit of a letdown after so much buildup. Don't get me wrong I'm happy as hell with how things worked out and the people that are killed but the thrill seeking blood hungry side of me was expecting much more of an explosive end than what we got. The series as a whole was just OK for me and I still think there was a lot more that could have been developed further. I personally loved Dante and still have so many questions about him and his background. I was hoping the next book would be his but it's only Dylan's and while he was interesting, I'm just not intrigued enough to want to read his story.
Yesssss!!! This was the perfect conclusion to an incredible series! I don’t even know what exactly I was wanting to happen with Delta and everything else, but all I know is that it couldn’t have ended more perfectly than it did!
Beck is still a fierce overly protective alpha, and I mean come on, do we really want him to change? I know I sure don’t!! SWOON. SWOON. SWOON.
I can’t get enough of Beck and Riley together and I’m so sad that this is the end of their story!! Looks like a reread is in my very near future!!
This series has fastly became one of my favourites 🖤 the story line and the characters are just amazing. I really didn't want this book to end 😫 BUT I am now onto Dylan's book!!! I hope and pray that each boy will get their own story. They can't just do Dylan and leave out the other two surely!! I LOVE Riley and Chase, they're made for each other and need each other 🖤 I don't feel I can do a proper review without giving anything away so I'm going to leave it there but I really reccomend this series 🙌🏼
Update- omg omg omg, I just finished this book and I still have not gotten enough of this series. The book has unexpected series of events that will keep you hooked till the end with a dose of the adorable(ness) of all the characters. I love love love Sebastian and Riley as a couple.
Love this series so freaking much!! Sebastian Beckett gah I love you!!! He’s so delicious and JP but I also love all the other guys too. Can’t wait to read Dylan’s story. I love the girls too Riley and Eddy. Okay one more, I love Dante too 😂. Yeah I’m abusing the word “love” and I don’t care!!!!
I'd like to thank my fridge for being stocked with some wine because I definitely need to pop some corks today. Not that I'm saying this series has slowly killed me.. but it most definitely has. I honestly had no idea what I was going to walk into when I decided to dive into Broken Legacy tonight. I had so many mixed feelings with each book and I just thought that the world would be much better if certain people in this book no longer existed.
That's probably putting it nicely too because this little delta cult was psychotic. So much chaos from the very first page and I felt numb to everything that was happening. I was no longer shocked or awed with certain things happened. It just kind of seemed like Riley was always going to be in trouble or in harms way.
Then there's the guys and I liked Beck but he was a little possessive shit and I would get annoyed real quick of that. We also got to find out who actually killed Oscar and honestly - wasn't surprised one freaking bit. Or by the "rose killer". Not even sorry about it. I feel like the big reveal for the villains would have been better if it was people I never expected like the butler being the rose killer and Eddy killing Oscar.
Other than that, I guess I'm glad that I dove into this series to meet these guys. I'm a little intrigued by Dylan's book just because that guy needs to find happiness stat.
Oh my gods, this story is insane! Incest, espionage, patricide, infanticide, blackmail ... and the list goes on!
Riley doesn’t understand what is happening in her life now that gangbanger and best friend Dante has been arrested for murder and she caught her mother making out with her own brother, the man trying to destroy the Delta fortune. Ew.
She is back in with the group of Delta heirs, and the mysteries just continue to pile up. What really happened to her brother Oscar, whose place she took? How is Dante involved with Delta? And how is a serial killer involved? And how much has her bio mother Catherine orchestrated her life?
As more and more secrets are revealed, Riley learns that everything she knew was a lie. Who exactly, then, is Riley Jamison Debois?
I think this book should not be called a high school anything, because out of three books, maybe five whole days are actually spent at school. This is more 007 stuff, but with teens and 20 year olds! Thank goodness they’re billionaires and don’t actually need diplomas and degrees.
Really, though, I devoured these books. It was non stop action. Loved it!
I loved this whole series. I do hope there will be another one. One where the rest of the delta boys find their love. It had a lot of steamy scenes, had me at the edge of my seat, and tears in my eyes.
3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars! Last book in the trilogy, was sadly just a “meh” for me. It was corny and I found myself skimming and I hate that, could have been better.
My first and foremost thought when I read the synopsis of the first book of this series was, "THANK THE BOOK LORDS, THAT THIS IS NOT A REVERSE HAREM"and while that certainly checked out I did have a few issues with the series mostly the second book.
Once again the problem of too many intimate scenes and not enough plot development, strikes. You would not believe the amount of potential the ending of the first book left! Unfortunately, it wasn't put to good use. I feel that most authors (Eve included), at this point do not spend enough time developing the mind blowing ending they leave. It feels as though they quickly want to wrap up the issues and make everything perfect again, assuming that this is probably what the readers want. And while they are not wrong, I personally, would not hate having to wait for the characters to make up. There was definitely waiting here, but not enough and it was not filled with much of emotions and plot.
Having said that, this final book was a mild refresher as the author seems to have found somewhat of a balance. But because so much plot time was lost in the second book, the supposed "gasping moments" were instead moments of "huh, she did that? Honestly I am not surprised.." Another issue I had was the constant juxtaposition between Riley's character and how she was portrayed. Throughout the series she was portrayed as a badass women, who cherished her independence and could handle herself, however the very next minute you found her in a mess either kidnapped or subjected to extreme high school bullying. And while it is nice to see such character's emotional and vulnerable side, there was a bit too much crying, vomiting and break downs for my liking.
However, the main plot involving the heirs and Militant Delta was wonderful and if only the balance had been maintained throughout the second book, this series would have been five starts all the way. Overall, definitely not a bad series and wonderfully gripping
I fell in love with this series and these characters from book one. Beck was my knight in dark armor! He was one of the best alpha males I have read about ever! Watching him grow into the man he became was amazing! Riley was one bad chick even with the hand she was dealt. She had her moments of crying and acting like the damsel in distress but it all made her stronger in the end. I loved all the other guys but I am kind of upset we didn't see them have an HEA for themselves. I need more and I need inside Dylan's head. However I was very happy with the outcome of this series! Definitely one of my all time favorites! If you haven't read this yet please do! You won't regret it I hope!
3.5 stars. The ending was ok but the entire series as a whole kinda...was meh. We never delved deeper into Delta, what they were doing, how they were doing it. A lot was glossed over or done off page, which was annoying bc Riley wasn’t really involved in the nitty gritty but yet we are to believe she had plans. She kind of fumbled her way through a lot of things but I am still unclear on the entire Huntley thing, about the stalker, it’s like we had a bunch of different things going on at once. I just want to know what’s the point. Still I did enjoy reading except this one I definitely skimmed more this time around than I did last time. The relationship with Beck though was nice, except the epilogue was meh imo. We don’t really get to see what their life is like out of the thumbs of their parents.
Bummer. Unpopular opinion alert. Actually no, I'm gonna take that back. I actually really liked the series as a whole. It was crazy addictive and intense and this book was no different. However, reading it felt like it was always... full tilt, off the rails, mainlining 4 pots of coffee and being up for about 36 hours straight... are you feeling me? In short, it felt rushed. I know, after I pitched a fit a couple weeks ago that I couldn't wait until it was out...now I'm complaining that it's out. I know, there's no pleasing me. *shrug* But, it has some errors that need to be corrected. However, the characters are great, and the hook for the series as a whole...I really loved it. I'll be sad to leave it behind. 3.5 stars.
I loved the first 2 books, but I found myself struggling to connect to Riley and Beckett in this one. I felt their characters had somewhat changed and lost some of their edge. Riley felt pliant at times and I found Beckett a bit cheesy? I still enjoyed the book and by the end, I was wishing for a spin-off or follow up on the remaining heirs, especially Dylan!
