Packed full of knowledge, minus the bloat... my kind of book!

Although I have no intentions whatsoever of buying a franchise, I was kind of running out of business related books to read at the library, when I spotted this and said what the hell.

Oh, and the author actually admits to never owning, nor wanting to own a franchise either, so that kind of put me at ease going into it.

If you need something to read, or are interested in owning and operating a franchise, this is the perfect book for you. As mentioned above, it has everything you need packed into just over 200 neatly and understandable pages, which include great tips and tricks, questions to ask, and even to do checklists before committing to buy a franchise.

One of the best qualities this book has to offer readers, is the fact that the author is so upfront with you, meaning that he tells you more than once if you don't fit a certain criteria, that maybe owning a franchise isn't for you.

This is a straightforward and well-structured book. The author offers a comprehensive framework and detailed information on the franchise ecosystem, including key players such as franchisors, franchisees, and support networks, as well as the processes involved in franchise development and management. While the initial sections may present some obvious points, the content becomes significantly more in-depth and thorough in the subsequent chapters, covering operational strategies, legal considerations, and success factors.

One of the better books I read about Franchises. It breaks down each phase of buying a franchise, especially the FDD to where it doesn't make it so intimidating. Challenges you in knowing your stuff to do your due diligence. Lived it!

It deals a lot more from the franchisor perspective, not the franchisee. Overall, it's still a good read, as I continue to gain knowledge on franchising
