I bought the English version. Bought the guide because it contains the top highlights of the gallery. I enjoyed reading more about the paintings once back home.

Absolutely beautiful book of the masterpieces in the accademi gallery including my favorite piece of art, The David, sculpted by Michelangelo between 1501 and 1504.
