Interest mystery / suspense novel about a man who is a partner in a company that manages stocks who receives a few phone calls from an anonymous source that suggests there is some illegal business going on with an insurance company based in Chicago. Potter, the protagonist, goes to Chicago to meet with the mysterious informant and finds that an employee of the insurance agency had been recently murdered. Potter decides to investigate, leading to attempts on his life, and missing persons. Good, solid mystery with a likable protagonist
