I'm not a typical omega. I like control, and I'd rather take than be taken.
After years of fantasizing, I finally find an alpha who will submit to all my desires. Our connection is beyond intense. My wolf says we're fated for each other, but I know better.
Even if a test strip says I'm pregnant, I don't want a mate. No matter how submissive he may appear, I won't link myself to an alpha.
Derek
I'll never live up to what my pack thinks an alpha should be.
I don't want to order omegas and betas around. In fact, I'd prefer to hand over the reins and enjoy the bliss of surrender.
I jump at the chance when a dominant omega asks me to share his heat. Once I get a taste of him, I know a few days together won't be enough. I want it all: a mating ceremony, kids, the future stretched before us. He wants to run as fast as he can, but I’m determined to show him I don’t want to confine him—I want to set him free.

First of all, I read and enjoyed the first and second book of the series but I skipped the third one because it’s ménage. And it’s just not my cuppa. 🤷♀️ Despite that, I was definitely able to follow and enjoy the story of this fourth book without any issue. ☺️
I loved the unconventional roles of Waverly and Derek. It’s very rare to see a dominant Omega and a submissive Alpha and I think Silvia Violet definitely nailed it. 👏 This could possibly be my favorite book in the series. The storyline is interesting, the issues of omega abuses were resolved in this one and plus, we got a lovely love story and some swoon-worthy romance of Wave and Derek. And man, the sex scenes were scorching! 🔥 Wave definitely knows how to own his alpha’s arse. 😉 Thoroughly enjoyed it and I hope this book isn’t the end of Trillium Pack stories. 💜
I liked this so much, I blew through it in a few hours.
Waverly and Derek are not typical omega and alpha pair. Wave craves his partner’s submission and Derek wants to give it to him. Before meeting each other, they each felt unfulfilled and like they were unlovable.
Unfortunately, when they meet, the live in different packs and only agreed to spend Wave’s heat together.
How do they end up in the same pack? Will they figure out how to bond without compromising who they are?
Read this wonderful story and find out.
This is book 4 in the Trillium Creek series and I loved catching up with the previous couples, many of whom play integral roles in this story.
I am really enjoying Silvia Violet's take on mpreg ABO-verse stories. This is the 4th book in the series but I would say that this could work pretty well as a standalone. But if you like ABO/mpreg in your books, you should definitely check out this whole series.
What I enjoyed most about this book was that Waverly and Derek are not your typical omega and alpha. Waverly likes being in control, he's definitely the Dom here, and he battles with that omega instinct and fears losing his dominance in a relationship. And Derek, although an alpha wolf, wants someone to command him and he wants to be submissive to his partner. I loved their chemistry together, how perfect they were for each other physically and emotionally.
I'm also enjoying the overall arc with the Oaklawn pack and how we are getting more members from their pack. I look forward to seeing how that is continued to be developed. And I hope that Tyler gets his own book soon!
My main reason for keeping this from being a 5 star read was that I felt like some things happened just too quickly, and some things even happened off-page, like Derek and Tyler escaping their pack. It felt like it was just too quick for me with how some things happened.
I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.
I loved this book so much i can not wait till the 5th book in this series.if you haven’t picked up this series i highly recommend you do it’s AMAZING 😉
Love Someone Like Me is the fourth book in Silvia Violet’s entertaining Trillium Creek series. I have been eager for this story as I have a fondness for characters who break their molds and so I really like how we get two men here that don’t fit in their world as expected. Waverly is a dominant omega and Derek is a submissive alpha. Both men have expectations placed upon them for how they are supposed to act and behave. While Waverly has it a little easier in Trillium Creek, Derek is being pressured to take an omega and start a family. Violet does a great job showing how both of these men are struggling under the weight of these roles they are supposed to take on and it is enjoyable to see how they find the perfect fit with one another. Their scenes together are sexy and they have a great dynamic. Although the guys do get into some kink, this isn’t super intense on the BDSM end.
It is not very often we get to read about a dominant omega and submissive alpha. I really hope this is a trope that gets revisited. This had to be my favourite book in the series hands down. I cannot wait to see what comes next for trillium creek.
I received this book by the author and This is my honest review. I love this concept of the omega being the dominant in the relationship and though society states that the alpha should be that but in this case he's submissive just adds that extra spark to the story plus facing the stigmas. I enjoyed reading about wave and Derek and there scorching sex scenes but also their show of love and building there relationship despite having to face a pack that is prejudice against their love. A good read which absorbed me right into the book.
i freakin love when authors go against the normal.. a different type of omega with a different kind of alpha... the sparks fly.. the love.. the angst the emotions.. it is all wonderful and amazing.
I really enjoyed this book because it deviates from a typical shifter/mpreg novel. In this book the Omega (Waverly) was the dominant person in bed and the Alpha (Derek) was submissive. It has a good storyline too. Derek’s pack is oppressive and their treatment to all the pack mates is bad but most definitely the treatment of Omegas is by far the worst. Thankfully Waverly’s pack is open minded, loving, fair, and on a mission to eradicate the abhorrent treatment of Omega’s from Derek’s pack. All in all, good book and worth a read.
The Trillium series by Silvia Violet is awesome. Love Someone Like Me, the fourth book is a thrilling addition to the series.
After hooking up with Derek, Waverly suddenly finds himself pregnant. Fear and doubt are a big issue in this story. Derek's from a pack where he never thought he could be happy and he struggles with overcoming the things he was taught growing up in his birth tribe. He struggles with trusting that he can be happy, and that he can be the kind of alpha he wants to be. But, in Waverly's tribe he finds just that. Not only does he fit in, he's able to be himself, enjoy what he likes, and find love.
The sex is hot, with some BDSM involved. The control and submission of their relationship is different, and a lot of fun. I truly enjoyed these scenes.
Their relationship involves a whole lot of trust and faith. Neither man wants the traditional roles that they're born into. Together, they can find someone who accepts what they want.
Love Someone Like Me is absolutely enjoyable. It's fun, different, and I can't wait to see what happens next.
Waverly is in information technology, and an investigator. He's trying to bring down a local pack that is breeding underage Omegas. Meanwhile, Waverly is dealing with his own personal issues, he's an Omega who prefers to dominate Alphas, something that is frowned upon in society. Submissive Alphas are considered weak, and dominant Alphas 'need to be put in their place.' Waverly's been looking for a submissive he can share his heat with, an Alpha who won't change and try to dominate him when his hormones hit.
I've always enjoyed books about Omegas trying to fight societal norms. Male characters taking on a suffragist, or feminist, role without that baggage being attached to a woman is a nice change of pace.
It's also interesting to see the A//B/O equivalent of a gay bar. Since their interests are outside of societal norms, Wave and Derek are forced to meet at a kink bar.
They're not supposed to meet again, but when Derek is forced to seek asylum, they might not have a choice.

After reading a fair amount of A/B/O, this is one of my favorites, both this book, and this series. The only thing I wanted a bit more of was the climatic scene with the bad guy, not going to give anything away, I just wanted a little more action.
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow- Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile' or ‚Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the at he kids' series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or 'Liberty' from Seth King), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey’s books) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times a year (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader, maybe 2-3 times a year. It’s like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time- reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok). It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
Waverly gets such a great story! Being a dominant omega is hard as he struggles to find suitable partners, especially alphas, and especially alphas he can trust during his heat. Derek is suggested to him through a friend and from the first moment they meet, you can sense the connection and definitely feel the attraction coming off the page. Derek has found it so hard being an alpha who wants to be dominated, he's worried about his current pack and when he is needed to save an omega, he takes that chance and happens to end up in Waverly's pack. These are two wonderful men, fighting for what's right and that end up coming together through fate. Their journey from start to finish is great to read and, as with all Silvia's books, very much worth the read. We get to catch up with people from previous books in the series and have new friendships built and existing ones strengthened. I love this series. It brings a group of men together, often ones who think there isn't anyone out there for them, giving them friends and possibly a future family with their fated mate. Silvia gives it all the feels and you get the chance to experience everything right along with the characters. Definitely recommended and looking forward to the next! I received an ARC and am happily giving review.
Oh, yes! Bring on the kink, Silvia Violet's style, in the Trillium Creek pack! A very unusual story, with Waverly (Trillium Creek's IT expert/hacker, mysterious and solitary), who we find is a Dom omega. He decides to spend his heat with a submissive alpha from another pack met in a kink club through a mutual friend. An unexpected pregnancy along with other circumstances forces them into proximity... but realizing they are fated mates does not immediately seal the deal. Waverly is scared and only wants to run for his freedom... but will they find a way to be together and still be their true selves? Every book in this series leaves you with a happy smile! One of the things I love most about this series is that the level of angst is very low, and the Trillium Creek pack is this happy place where everybody is happy and helps each other, and it's so nice to meet all the other couples and triads from the past book stepping in to help the new couples, like real family. (like Finn says to Waverly: "You're a good man, and you're pack")
I really enjoyed reading this MM/Mpreg wolf shifter romance & I was pleasantly surprised at the unusual concept of a dominant omega & a submissive alpha. The story-line & plot is very interesting, well-thought & written. The characters are well-developed & quite unique with individual personalities and have realistic emotional feelings & reactions, the secondary characters play good supporting roles. There is: a reclusive not-so typical dominate omega (Waverly), His pack alpha (Silas), his wolf pack (Trillium Creek pack), a very untypical submissive alpha (Derek), his cruel & abusive alpha (Hanson), his wolf pack (Oaklawn pack), a devious Dr. (Dr. Goss), twists & turns, intrigue, some suspense, drama, action, forced matings, abuse, human trafficking, suspicions, friendship, attractions, contracts, domination/submission, sanctuary, jealousy, cravings, floggings, mates, confrontations, conflict, anguish, emotional turmoil, memories, compromises, claiming, love, happiness, steamy scenes & a well-deserved happy ending
This is another great story in the Trillium Creek series and I really enjoyed it. I love that Waverly and Derek do not follow the traditional roles usually found in an alpha/omega relationship. Derek is a bit ashamed of his wants and needs because of how conservative and restricting his pack is but once he meets Waverly he finally finds what he has been looking for. They are a perfect match in every way but Waverly is scared of his feelings for Derek as he has never wanted to be a traditional omega. Luckily they have both found their way to a pack that is totally accepting of everyone and fights to give omegas the same rights and freedoms that everyone else has. I love the world this author has created and all of the characters are amazing. I can't wait to read the next book in this exciting series.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
I don’t know why these guys all fight the fated bond. I can understand Derek, because of the pack he belonged to, but Waverly? He’s seen it happen often enough now that he should have been ready for it. Just kidding… I love the fact that these guys are oblivious. It makes the inevitable even more fun, especially when everyone around them sees the obvious way before they do. 😀
I’m obviously loving this series so far. Derek and Waverly added an extra little twist to the fated mate thing. Their relationship has also moved the case against Waverly’s former pack along. They still have a long way to go and a lot of prejudice to fight. Readers got a little hint of a future couple and more babies to look forward to. MPreg isn’t exactly my “go-to” genre when it comes to PNR, but Trillium Creek is helping to push it up a few notches. 😉
This is the fourth book in the Trillium Creedk series and it's about the amazing relationship between alpha Derek and his omega Waverly. As with other books in the series this couple breaks from standard/traditional omega/alpha relationships. They come together in an unusual way with Derek helping Waverly through his heat. After that first encounter they part ways even though they both know the other maybe perfect for them. They both think that they will never find someone who will truly love them, since they don't want the "normal" A/O relationship. Once they are able to get past personal doubts they realize that it is ok for them to be in whatever type of relationship they want. Another great hit love, love this series.
Another great add to the series. Waverly and Derek's story was like nothing I've read before. We briefly met Waverly before so I was excited to jump right in to know more about him. Loved seeing how the dynamics between Omega/Alpha are different with each book and how who you are isn't put into a pre-cut role. Waverly is a sexy hot Dom from start to finish and his connection with a sweet hearted Sub like Derek is perfection. Chemistry off the charts and a new couple to fall in love with. The main plot continues and mixes in with their journey to make a epic story about knowing who you are and knowing that you are accepted and loved. Great new characters pop up and I can't wait to see if they get a book next. I voluntarily reviewed an 'Advance Author’s Copy' of this book.
Omg! I absolutely loved this book as a continuation of the Trillium Creek pack! Since Love Times Three I've been curious to know how things play out for the quiet Omega hacker, Waverly. One unexpected Alpha, one intense heat cycle, and a little forgotten protection, equals one complicated relationship for Wave and Derek. I really enjoyed reading about how they worked through everything considering all the craziness that ensued. I'm also super thrilled that the Omegas from the Oaklawn pack might finally be free. This book was a bit of a rollercoaster but it was so worth it!
First off. This series is excellent, if you haven't read it, why not? Your missing out! Omega Waverley & Alpha Derek are not the norm. Waverley wants to dominate and Derek is more than happy to give it to him. They meet through Mac, a dom they've both used, to see Waverley through his heat, though Wave gets more than he bargined for! When they meet again in unrelated circumstances they realise they are from different packs, Wave The Trillium Creek and Derek The Oaklawn Pack. Is the pull strong enough that they can make it work and will Waverley finally accept he wants a mate for life! Ready for book 5 please!
This shifter series just gets more enjoyable as time goes on and this book is no exception it turns the usual ideals of the Omegaverse on its head. Waverly is a dominant Omega, who is about to have his heat. Derek is an alpha who wants to submit and be used by his Omega. Together they fit, could that be because they’re fated mates. As always Sylvia violet has mixed heat, knottiness, snark and ultimately loving to make a fantastic shifter series, which I love reading, the books are well paced with action, coming from their struggles with the abusive pack near by. Highly recommend this book but the series is best if read in order.
Love Someone Like Me is the fourth book in the Trillium Creek by Silvia Violet. It is a fun book with an atypical Alpha and an atypical omega who find perfection with each other. Theymay not have beenlioked for a mating or making a family... but you cant fight fate. I love the relationship between Waverly and Derek. These characters are just so interesting and entertaining. I love this series.
I received an advanced reader's copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
This book was super sweet and hot! I really enjoy when traditional roles are switched so I'm loving the fact that Waverly is an Omega Dom! The sexy times were even hotter with the Dom/sub roles! I really loved the connection that Waverly and Derek formed right from the start. It was really sweet how Waverly promised to take care of Derek throughout the book and how he eventually caved and let Derek care for him. This was a great look back at many of the couples in the Trillium Creek pack and I can't wait to see what's next!
