Hehe! I gave 5 stars to a textbook! This is actually a great guidebook on all things poverty. It's only flaw is the "charismatic megafauna" on the cover...crying black children and a homeless man that's probably not homeless.

In today modern world there are few country which are facing a lot of poverty in which people do not earn that much to buy a food and other thing. The most poorest country out of these is Africa. Most of the African people are doing pirates job because their country have not jobs for them. There are a lot of issue in Africa like education, health, water overall the country is facing a lot of crisis. After that the next country is Palestine due to the war the shortage of food have effect a lot of Palestine people. So the main aim of the book was about poverty which is a very dangerous issue what about your perception comment it.

A solid econ text, but a bit more simplistic than I could find useful.
