Awesome, awesome book to read if you ever want to learn about how different feminist orgs were organized and grew or died. Ironically, the feminist orgs that were most hierarchical were the ones that survived the longest...for the most part. Even egalitarian people need structure, I guess. I may return to this theme for the Ph.D. thesis.

This book is great so far. It is interesting to read what the movement was doing in 1985.

Started off quite strongly; but then it went to the dogs.
