I absolutely loved this book. I am not usually a person that can read a book in a day cause most don't hook me but this one definitely did. I actually loved this book so much that I went to my local library's website and ordered all the similar books. So if you are reading this review and haven't read the book please read it.
A great story with a great story line. The characters are great and I would love to hear the stories about the rest of the family. Hope there are some more story to be read and get to visit with them again. Keep the Kleenex handy.
Another in the Bachelors of Blackwater Lake in which divorced Dr. Mason Blackburne is thrilled to learn he is the father of twins, though he's not good at convincing the babies' aunt, now their mother, Annie Campbell, to marry him. After her sister's death following the children's birth, Annie has her hands full taking care of the babies and maintaining her graphic design business. Thank goodness she can do most of it at home.
When Mason offers to help, particularly after she falls and breaks her leg, Annie begins to experience what a truly supportive family can be like. She's thrilled for the twins, but her attraction to Mason isn't something she trusts. Not with the experiences she's had with men. And he's afraid to admit he loves her. All because of their respective pasts.
Then the lab that confirmed his parenthood says there's been a mistake and the babies aren't his after all. What's he going to do? Where will Annie go when she leaves the house he's bought for them? So sad, but surely the author isn't going to let us down, refusing us an HEA ending. Or will she?
Army Dr. Mason Blackburne had a one night stand with a woman the day of his divorce, then was deployed. Now a little over a year later, he's at Annie Campbell's door to find out if he's the father of her sister's twins. He's one of three candidates, and when the DNA test comes back positive, he's right there, falling in love with the twins, and their aunt. But, of course, there's a twist.
