This is a story all about a girl named Kendall who has found herself in dire need of money, to pay for her upcoming freshman year of college, and she is presented with the option of selling her virginity online, during a silent auction for an underground sex club in LA. Her face will not be pictured, but her body will be on display, which means her new cherry tattoo is also able to be viewed.
Marshall lives a very luxurious life, that he has built for himself from the ground up, while also being the only parent in his daughter’s life. He appears to be on the straight and narrow path, but he indulges in the underground sex club, where he stumbles upon the silent auction and decides that he has to bid on this anonymous woman’s virginity.
This is a taboo, age-gap romance, involving a forty-two-year-old man and an eighteen-year-old girl… and she just happens to be his daughter’s best friend. See, I was really invested with this premise, but once I found out that guy had known the girl since she was five, because they were neighbors, that’s when I started getting really uninvested. I am never here for grooming-feeling stories, and every time that aspect of their relationship was brought up, I just hated it.
But the sex itself, even if highly unrealistic of someone’s first time, was really enjoyable. Sometimes, Marshall would continue to use the adjective “little” and it was bothersome, but besides that, I did enjoy all the sex scenes in this book very much. It was the plot, more specially the portion with the daughter/best friend, that was really unbelievable, which is really saying something when this is a 200-page story about a girl selling her virginity online.
I think this book really would have benefited from just having steamy sex, but the author tried to have a concrete story so desperately, and it really didn’t fit this book. Also, it got into instalove territory, which was also upsetting. I wish that sometimes authors could just give us some amazing sex scenes and stories, without having to make everything about everlasting love.
But again, I think you kind of know what you’re getting into when buying a book like this, and it totally served its purpose and I am happy I picked it up. Also, I would totally be down trying more from this author in the future. But please let me know if you have read and enjoyed anything else by them!

I had hoped that this wouldn’t be your usual Millionaire, growly Alpha/ innocent schoolgirl virgin...but it was and I hurt my head from the amount of times I rolled my eyes when the word “V-card” was used!!
Also, there were way too many spelling errors and it really ruined the flow of the story for me.

Madison comes out with a steamy forbidden love it was a quick pace easy read.
I wish i enjoyed this book more.. i think what made me sad was Kendall (18) was the one acting Alphaish instead of Marshall (42).. she was the one pursuing him when he kept fighting his feelings.. i get his point its his daughters best friend and she's 18... but i like my men to atleast take control in chasing.. if Kendall didn't push would he just ignore her until she left?
Beside that.. the story was juicy even if they didn't spend alot of time in that secret club.. wish they did to keep those loud moans quite lol
No cheating, no ow/om drama, slight drama secondary charas, sexy times, not a manwhore and a virgin gal

This was a deliciously smutty read that I loved from start to finish, slightly taboo but a very safe read.
Kendall is a barely legal high school graduate who has grown up within a wealthy home but things aren’t as they seem and it soon becomes apparent that her step father has lost most of the family fortune and she won’t be able to go to college. With her stepfather and mother away travelling for the summer keeping up appearances she is staying with the best friend Amy and her father Marshall for the summer. With the money situation growing worse she realises that the only thing she has of value to sell is her virginity. Introduced to the secret millionaires society her virginity is auctioned off for a cool million dollars but what will she do when she discovers the man who bought her is none other than her best friend’s father and her one and only crush ?
Marshall has been single for the past eighteen years there have been women but no one he wanted to be permanent his life has been his daughter Amy and creating a successful business. He is at the top of his game and it’s the last summer before his daughter goes off to college. But someone has caught his attention although he hasn’t seen her face he is obsessed with the cherry tattoo on her hip and when he sees what is up for auction there is no way anyone will outbid him. He wants her, he will have her no matter the cost. But when he discovers that the woman of his fantasies is the girl he watched grow up and is spending the summer in his house will he be able to keep his desires and lust for her under wraps or will the chemistry that sparks between them bring them together where they should be.

This was angsty and hot AF! I haven’t picked up a Madison Faye book in a while and now I’m wondering why. I finished this in one sitting and was so into this book.
However, while I did enjoy it I did find the relationship a bit off. Seriously, every time either one of them said it was more than sex, I would roll my eyes. Sure Jan. I wasn’t picking up on any vibes to make it seem as if it was anything but sex.
If you like angsty age gap, then this one will be for you!

Deliciously hot and steamy read of an older man younger woman. Marshall and Kendall’s chemistry is off the charts H-O-T, but there are a couple of hang ups. One being Kendall is Marshall’s daughter’s best friend and therefore only 18 to Marshall’s 42. And two he bids and wins on her virginity not knowing it is Kendall when he bids. When the two finally come together there are fireworks. The age gap between the two didn’t bother me as much as I expected it would Kendall is beyond mature for her years and Marshall just doesn’t seem that old to me. Another fantastic read from this author. I can’t wait for the next book!!

Well... It was an OK story... Personally, I would not recommend to read it when you are in a hotel by yourself and you are away from your better half afterward. Also- very bad editing made the story slightly irritating to follow. I guess things like that should be looked at before the novella is published.

Cherry Pie is the latest novella from author Madison Faye and it is a keeper!! It's steamy, intense older man / younger woman has that forbidden romance and taboo love story that keeps the readers hooked.
Kendall is 18 and Marshall is 42. They know each other thru his daughter but then they " know" each other another way which comes out shortly in the novella and thats when the story really gets going and the intensity ramps up. The heat level is high; Kendall and Marshall have this chemistry that felt throughout their story. I also liked Marshall's daughter and hope she gets a story too. This was a really good, really steamy story that kept me hooked. I can't wait for another Madison Faye read!!

A FILTHY HOOOOOT TABOO ROMANCE THAT IS FAST PACED DELICIOUSNESS! Madison Faye's newest novella is wonderful stuff peeps. Dare I say even succulent? The story is dirty and lusty and SOOOOO GOOD you won't want it to end. It takes taboo romance to a whole new level that is UNFORGETTABLE and will have you begging for more. Can't wait for another taste!

To be honest when I read the description from this book I just thought it would be a forbidden love type book with lots of drama. Which it was for the most part in the beginning but then it took on alot of erotica. This was a hot book with so many steamy scenes. It was a quick read and yes there were some grammatical errors in this book but if you can overlook them then it's not a bad read. Different from what I was expecting but not unwelcome either.

I really don't know how I ended up here but it was such a short read.
It was so repetitive and consisted of 80% sex and 20% thinking about sex.
Kendall's nipples were constantly hard, even when she was just walking through a door.
"They [the doors] close with a heavy thunk behind me, making my skin prickle and my nipples harden under my tank top."
While her nipples were at the center of attention, his "heavy balls" were described a lot. Adding to that, she didn't speak, she "cooed."
The sex scenes sometimes seemed ridiculous and I laughed when she said "I feel his powerful arms spin me around." I pictured it in a breakdancing way how she spinned, LOL.
Then they had sex multiple times in one night and he thought "This is me falling for Kendall." Okay, Sir, that happened way too quick.
I was also so curious to find out how her best friend reacted when she finds out that this 18-year-old girl is dating her FATHER. (Spoiler: she seemd to be oddly okay with it. Wtf?)
Then, there was the end. Oh my God.
"... there's something about him that just brings out this animalistic need to procreate."

I love a little taboo reading, and this was right up my alley. It was entertaining and I really liked the storyline and the characters were likable. It is a insta love read, so if you enjoy those kinds of reads then this is definitely the book for you.

I really need to stop reading these books when there is a age gap, which is fine, but what is not fine, that they known each other for years, he saw her growing up. It just doesn't scratch me right and when he started to call her "baby girl" I was like bye bitch, I am out. DNF and skimming around page 60.

Loved it! Madison Faye is an incredible storyteller and always wows me with her ability to write such long, slow, steamy, mind-blowing, sexy, love scenes. This book was extremely entertaining - I finished it in one sitting!

Don't judge me ;) such a guilty pleasure, filthy, sexy forbidden between 18 year old and her best friend's 42 year old father. With an HEA. Could have been just book porn but the author managed to add some feels.

Nice far story if you're in the mood for some one-on-one time. As for me, the last five books I've read has been by Madison Faye, and it's about time I read something else (except I have found a sequel to this book, egads!) because I am seeing a common pattern. Sex. Sex. Some tantalizing story. More sex. It's good sex, but Madison Faye has a tendency to repeat words like "purr" and "squeal". It isn't bad except it is just too much. Maybe some old Barbara Cartland novels will straighten me out for another spell.
Billionaire is bored. Is a member of a kink club, but he's more of a looker than a shower, if you know what I mean. But when he spots a virgin auction happening, he decides to go for it, especially after he had a chance to see what was on the auction block! And he does win... only to discover that the virgin he won is his daughter's best friend. Does the word "oops!" covers the coming storm of awkwardness? I doubt it, but the guy (or the girl) won't forget about it.
Any time soon, that is.
I do love the characters in this book. Even a few of the non-essential characters. At least they do have some backbone when it comes to their personal descriptions. Should something happen, I'm sure these non-essential characters will rescue the main characters if it leads up to it.
World-building is as a minimum. I would have liked a little more, but that's just me. The Rouge Society is something interesting.... and I would suspect that this new sex club would be well-adversed to trouble as they had hired so much detective work to keep their club secret. This would make a great series as there is so much that can be done with a story like this!!
Editing is always the issue. Wrong words spelled correctly and included in the script. Missing words. Words that should had been erased as it appears to be part of her researching instructions. Problems with grammar and punctuation. Damn! I have said it before yet I'll say it again, ask me to help out in your next editing job, and I'lll do it for free! I'll even teach you a few things you're doing wrong!! It'll make you look. more professional! Just email me through goodreads. I'll do it anonymously! I won't even ask to be mentioned in the credits!

I was given a copy of ‘Cherry Pie’ in exchange for an honest review. This is the first book I’ve read by Madison Faye, so I was not familiar with her work or sure what to expect.
Personally this isn’t usually the type of book I’d read, I’m not into older male/ younger female romances, and tend to usually stick to sweet romances. However, this book is ideal for people who like hotter books such as Birthday Girl or 50 Shades etc.
It is a quick read, and the writing style is easy to adapt to. The book focuses on Marshall Bane, a single father who is part of an underground society. He likes to dabble in alcohol and gambling, but never really one to go for anything that borders on sinful. It is when he sees an advertisement for an auction, the prize a teenage girl and her virtue, does he decide to make an exception.
Through a twist of events, the girl he bids on and wins turns out to be none other than his teenage daughter’s best friend. He is determined to put it all down to a misunderstanding, pay the money and let it go, however Kendall has other plans.
Kendall is in a tricky situation, her Stepfather has gambled away her college fund and led her family into serious debt. So when approached with an out, she takes it. Luckily for her, the man to win is a man she has known her whole life, and had a crush on.
It appears that Kendall is relentless and tries all ways to get her claws into Marshall. She deliberately flirts, remains in his house etc, determined to have her moment.
There are parts of this book that I couldn’t fully understand such as Amy having only a short tantrum about it all etc, when I thought there would have been a bigger pushback from her. Also, Kendall’s mother.
Overall, this was a good read and is perfect for those romance readers who like the hotter books and this type of plot. The writing was done well, the characters were easy to like and had an interestingly unique plot.

I thought Marshall was a great character and I liked when he put everything together and realized who Kendall was. I knew what was going to happen eventually but I was curious to see how long he was going to struggle with what to do. He also had to consider Amy and how she was going to deal with everything.
I really felt bad for Kendall as she was desperate for money to pay for school and later I was completely shocked at how she got involved with everything. I loved that she had a crush on Mr.B for so long and I can't imagine how surprised she was to realize he had unknowingly bid on her.
The chemistry between Marshall and Kendall was sizzling and so forbidden! I knew things would explode when Amy found out but she ended up getting over it much quicker than I thought she would.
The end was good and I am glad that everything worked out and that Marshall was able to help Kendall and her mom.
