When Mitch wished for something interesting to happen, he didn’t expect a gigantic man with a sword in one hand and a head in the other to appear in his apartment. Discovering they’re mates isn’t nearly as wild as when they create an egg that leaves Mitch wondering just how they’re going to hatch it. Will it all come together in a faraway kingdom or will Mitch find a way to break their bonding?

This paranormal M/M romance contains a messy human with peculiar skin, an uber-alpha dragon shifter with a craving for lemon bars, and a wonderfully inventive HEA that will leave you laughing. 37,250 words or 149 pages.

Humorous

Oops! Dragon by Anitra Lynn McLeod is book 2 in the Accidental Mates Series and it is just as hilarious , quirky and romantic as book 1 , Oops! Demon.

And OMG, the snarky , witty banter is so good and let me know forget about the hot AF sexy times. I like tongue-in-cheek tone these Rom-Com books are written.

This story kept me laugh-snorting for couple hours , I call that an entertaining book.

Be careful what you wish for. Mitch, is a bit of a hot mess. He let himself be distracted from his obligations, by anything. He has a lot of excuse for his behavior. He accidentally summons a being, Ovver from another world who has a steep learning curve of earthlore. They get to know each other as they try to resolve their circumstances. The conversation, is absolutely hilarious. They are on a quest to disband their bond and have totally funny adventures. Will Ovver go back? Will Mitch stay? Will Mitch, find his focus? Will Mitch find his value? Fun story. Mitch and Ovver are good characters and are absolutely adorable together. Nicely done. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

OMG!!! I had sooooooooooo much fun reading this. From the beginning to the end this was pure entertainment. Mitch summoning his dragon Ovver ...getting to know his dragon...loving and living with his dragon and finally building a family with his dragon...what a wonderful and hilarious ride. Loving this accidental mates series and can't wait for the next one.

I am not going to lie, this was so much fun! It was a simple boy meets dragon type of tale, but I thought it was done pretty well. It wasn't overly involved which I thought was refreshing even though I wouldn't have minded a longer story.

I always need something upbeat and interesting and kind of cute to balance out all of the angst I read most of the time. I hope the next one is as good as the first two!

I loved Oops! Dragon by Anitra Lynn McLeod. It's the second book in the Accidental Mates series. I loved Mitch and Ovver's book. I loved how they had difficulty communicating as Ovver would take each word literally, especially the cus words. I also loved their chemistry and how salt makes everything taste better.

Mitch was bored so he started writing on his skin but he accidentally summoned a very large man who was wearing a kilt and was holding a head he’s a Halstropp a dragon and he wasn’t happy being summoned so Ovver for short was going to make Mitch pay. Sorry guys no main spoilers but this is a fantastic chuckle worthy story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

It wants to be more than it is

Nice enough book if you have no other option.
I found it lackluster and finished it just out of curiosity about the egg.
It helped my English vocabulary a bit but definitely not continuing the series.

This is a truly unique story that brings the realms of Earth and Cherron, a dragon plane, together in an unexpected way. The characters are fairly well developed for a short story, and the world building is creative.

Mitch is a slob who lives in NYC. He works as a pizza delivery guy, but has zero concept of responsibility. He does have a skin condition that basically causes him to break out in hives along the path of contact with wood. So, when he is extremely bored, he starts doodling on his arm and wishing for something interesting to happen.

And interesting does indeed ignite in his living room when a seven and a half foot warrior, brandishing a five foot sword and a decapitated head, appears. He is not a happy camper at having been summoned, and needless to say, Mitch is a bit more than startled when the man? tries to run him through.

Eventually, they start to communicate pseudo-civilly, but some discoveries put a damper on further pursuits. They end up on a scavenger hunt of sorts, trying to find what they need to send Ovver back to his home. When things go wrong, Ovver transforms into his dragon shape and flies them to a safe place.

Eventually, after discovering their misunderstanding, and through Ovver's obsession with a sweet and tart treat, they find themselves on Cherron. They are taken to the king almost immediately, and once again, the treat from Earth wins over the dragons.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of differences between the two planes; two of the most glaring being the constant cold and the lack of taste in the food. When Mitch realizes what the problem is, it causes problems, not only with his relationship, but also with the king. Mitch must prove he does not have magic and has not bewitched the dragons in order to not only save his own life, but also that of their egg. His solution brings about unexpected results, and history is made.

Overall, after the way the story began, I was pleasantly surprised by Ovvar's personality and the way the relationship unfolded. It's a cute read that is entertaining for a quick couple of hours. And of course, Mitch, Ovver, and their family get their HEA.

Happy reading!

This is the second book in the series “Accidental Mates” & I found it to be a very enjoyable, sweet & quite humorous dragon/human Mpreg romance with an interesting plot filled with adventure. There is good scene descriptions & world building. The characters (Mitch & Ovver) are likable with good chemistry but are inclined to be a bit confrontational but soon discover that what the heart wants cannot be denied.
There is: a young man (Mitch) who is very untidy & rather absent-minded somehow manages to accidentally summons a huge dragon (Ovverpop’zedu’nuf most feared dragon of Halstropp aka Ovver) who has a decapitated head & a sword in his hands naturally Ovver is not too impressed, Ovver’s friend (Bacca), dragons/Halstropp, Dretlers, humans, a alternative world (Cherron), a precocious baby dragon (Dovvic), some twists, drama, humor, adventure, mystery, magic, confrontations, verbal disagreements, sarcasm, threats, aggression, a little violence, mates, trust issues, shock, protectiveness, surprises, decisions, manipulations, unease, sadness, misunderstandings, distrust, compromises, treaties, love, steamy scenes, contentment & a wonderful happy ending.

Another fun story from the Accidental Mates series. Ovver comes in full of aggression and masculinity, needing to protect Mitch. A bond forms quickly between the two men even as they search for a way to reverse the bond. Mitch has a big decision to make whilst his feelings for Ovver become even deeper and more complicated.
There's an interesting plot with dragons and other species at war on their plane of existence. Who knew lemon bars could have such an impact on peace between people?!
The author has again written a paranormal romantic comedy, drawing a lot of emotion from both men and we have a few interesting characters that are met along the way that bring out the best and worst in the MC's. Ovver's own world is wonderfully described, somewhere easy to imagine. Ovver and Mitch are a great couple, easy to read together.
Again, this is a fun and enjoyable story. Definitely getting better as we move through the series and looking forward to book 3.

Bringer of Salt✨🐉✨

This was super super cute! The banter and misunderstood colloquialisms had me giggling. Summoning a dragon shifter from another realm by doodling on your arm with a chopstick? 😂 Brilliant!

Then of course said Dragon 🐉 shifter shows up in a massive ball of flame complete with five foot double edged sword in one hand and a head in the other. I imagined Ovver (the dragon) looked like Clive Standen (Rollo) from the set of "Vikings." **swoon...💖

Mitch the human and ultimately the hero of the story is saved from his less than "tasteless" life by this scary hulking beast of a man-being. As the two realize Mitch bound them by his freak summoning accident, they set out to find a way to unbind themselves from each other. The more time they spend together however, the less they want this to happen.

A sweet comedic adventure romance, with lots of heart...and lemonbars!

Cute cute cute!🐉💗🐉

Not as charming at Demon, but still interesting. I'm a sucker for dragons so I thought this would be my favorite of the series. Not so, unfortunately. I found there to be very little real chemistry between the MC's and neither character really captivated me. The mating stuff was interesting, a little amusing, and very unique. I'm not sure I was won over by the dragons' world either. It was definitely unique and gave Mitch a purpose, but his individual character was so very milquetoast before this point that I just didn't really think his journey was anything close to what we got with Alex. Alex's "quest" was interesting and fit with the story. While Mitch's was fitting to the story, I didn't think it showed strength or any significant change to make him a stronger character. It was an okay story for sure, but a let-down from the first.

To be honest, I've liked book 1 in the series better. Something did not click right with this one.
The premise was totally up my alley but something got derailed in the adventures of dragon shifter among modern city life.
I liked the egg hatching, because how many human omegas I can digest until I will want to hurl? At least it's not a human male who provides new generation.

I think what threw me off was a retelling of French fairy tale by Charles Perrault about salt going with the meat in the off-world setting.
It was too easy a problem to figure out and not too much obstacles to deal with at gathering salt to fix bland food issue. Somehow this book was not as entertaining as the prior one...
I hope the next one will be better.

I’ve never laughed so hard. Mitch accidentally summons a dragon in his living room carrying a head I would have ran out of there screaming lol but not Mitch. The dragon Ovver tries to ram his sword through Mitch but can’t. If Mitch doesn’t return Ovver to his world within 24 hours he would be stuck on earth. There’s lots of witty dialogue, lemon bars and very hot combustible chemistry and an adorable baby dragon. You need to read this story to find out how Mitch saves Ovvers world.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book for my honest opinions of which I’m under no obligation to do so. I absolutely recommend this book.

Oops! Dragon is the second book in the Accidental Mates series by Anitra Lynn McLeod. This is a paranormal M/M romance that will have you smiling.

Mitch just wanted something interesting to come into his life, but he never thought it would be in the form of a big, sexy warrior man who can shift into a dragon. And he never thought they would be mates. But sometimes that which is unexpected is exactly what you need.

The characters are fun and the story interesting. Funny and sweet, with a little sexy and a pinch of drama added in. Definitely enjoyable.

3 stars!

I was lucky enough to get an ARC copy of this book but it is currently available for purchase.

I liked that this was an accidental mates paranormal romance. It was fun to be introduced to a new world with dragons.

I did feel like it wasn't as flushed out as it could have been. For example, the character flaw of being messy wouldn't just go away and it appeared to have just poofed away. I did like that it felt fairly realistic and plausible which I appreciate in a paranormal story.

This story also features an MPREG storyline which featured eggs which is fairly unique.

Overall, a solid paranormal MPREG romance.

This is a different but cute series. It isn't what I think of as a typical paranormal MM romance. So far this series has been cute, spicy, and contains humor. This is the second book in the series, and in it, Mitch accidentally summons Ovver, his dragon mate. It is funny seeing Ovver's reactions to others, especially with their actions with Mitch, versus his reaction to Mitch himself. Others are frightened of Ovver, as he appears so threatening, and he'd have no problem destroying them. Yet, he can be a sweet, kind dragon. He is gentle, caring, and loving with Mitch.

I received a reader's copy of this book and decided to voluntarily share my honest opinion.

The Accidental Mates Series brings an interesting twist to the paranormal genre. A lot of the M/M paranormal books tend to be very heavy, full of action, and a lot of angst. This series is a refreshing find that brings a little lightness and escape to the M/M paranormal world.
Tackling a dragon book in this time where dragons are so popular is a daunting task. Luckily like the other stories in this series there is a spin that keeps it from being one of the many! The content is a little heavier but there is definitely the light hearted moments and twists that keeps this series and enjoyable read!

This second book in this series can be read as standalone. The story follow the main premise in the accidental mates series after Mitch and Ovver accidentally met each other, becoming mates. But the plot didn’t stop there, by one hand there are romance, love, hot scenes and little baby dragons, on the another low angst action, witty situations and some danger, so the book is interesting, entertaining and easy to read. Amazing way to continue the series!!!
I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion

This was another fun read. I was a bit worried that it would be connected to the first one and then how would it work?
but it’s not.
Different world? Different couple.
Ovver is a dragon who was accidentally summoned to Mitch’s world because Mitch could do summoning spells.
In order for Ovver to go back to his dimension, they need specific gold.
The story was fun and quirky.
The heat between Mitch and Ovver was original. I loved learning about the dragon’s ways.

For another quirky take on dragon mates, this is one wild ride.

Mitch accidentally summons his mate. Ovvern is a dragon and is ready to do battle at a minutes notice. The two find that they are mates, but want to break the bond because neither will fit into the other's world...except there is an egg that is on hold until they are ready for children. So what does Mitch do? Break the bond? Go to Ovvern's world? Let Ovvern trade is most prized position away to get info from the head of a ?dead enemy? Lots of questions and you won't know unless you read the book. Oh, and don't forget the lemon bars.

Another accidental mates story in this fun series, a series that can be read in any order, as there doesn’t at this stage appear to have any links between the books.

This book is about a dragon Ovver who is summoned to human Mitch’s messy apartment complete with drawn sword and a severed head! What follows is a a very funny story about finding your mate in the most unexpected ways. I am really enjoying this series, it’s fluffy with little angst, perfect to read in one sitting.

I want to try the lemon bars!

This story was amusing and had me laughing several times. There was a lot more that happened in this story then the first book in the series. There's an interesting plot and I loved that it was about dragons. I liked the chemistry between Mitch and Ovver and loved how they trusted each other.

This book was so much fun and I enjoyed Mitch and Ovver's journey into knowing and loving each other. This story involved dragons, talking heads, lots of lemon bars, pinches of salt, a fantasy land, baby dragons, and most of all love. The conclusion of the story was very satisfying and left me with the warm fuzzies and a big smile. :)
