Insightful and personal story that women should read to live in the world that resists women in power!
The book talks about empowerment of women and the encouragement it has to future generations-just seeing a woman in leadership positions in the media has a significant impact.
Then it provided some answers for the questions I had in mind - how women survive in the workplace - how networking works and continues to enlarge the gap between women and men’s power - how men and women’s attractive trait vary - how women’s desire for beauty is not independent
I still think it is okay for women to makes choices that may not be her independent at the root. Because as women, we are always fighting and we can’t possibly fight for it every single minutes and seconds. I just hope that women will have more freedom from oppression as the day goes by.
I sincerely agree with her on how women need women-social-club. We need more spaces and opportunities for women to network and collaborate in the world where there are overwhelming numbers of men in power and close to none of women in power.
As she realistically advises, we need allies, especially women-but men as well. It is important to not accept injustice, but also important to be lenient to differences.
