This book was really good, but I have to admit it took me longer to read because it isn’t the easiest to understand at first. Paulo Coelho writes in a way that feels very psychological, so I needed more time to follow the point of view and the layers of the story. But once I settled into it, I found it genuinely interesting and surprisingly natural.
What I appreciate most is how the book explores mental health in a calm and honest way. It doesn’t just describe how mental struggles shape a person’s life. It also shows how someone can slowly learn to face those feelings and accept different parts of themselves. Coelho creates a quiet space where the characters feel real and fragile, and that makes the message stronger.
