This is quick fast read. If you like older man younger woman this is the one for you. I really enjoyed this one because it was well written. Highly recommend.

a good hot read.
I enjoyed this read but I’m a sucker for a best friends dad story. It was definitely steamy. I liked how they kinda touched on the psychological aspects of why someone might enjoy spanking and/or punishments. I would recommend.

Madie is rescued by her best friend’s dad after having a horrible day. She has always had a crush on the sexy Scot but and they spend more time together sparks fly. What will happen when she wants to call him daddy? Fast-paced read with steamy chemistry. I liked the story as well as the characters. A good read.

This was a good book to read with well developed characters that were engaging and had plenty of hot and steamy chemistry. I totally enjoyed it from the first page to the last.

Good lord this was horrible, drug on forever. I saw in my library that I read 1 previous book and though I didn't remember much about it (should've been the 1st clue) so I'll try another. I now have a kindle library with a don't like author category.

Wasn’t a Favorite
The plot was not really interesting and imaging a Scottish accent was not appealing. I wish there had been more substance to the overall story.

This is the 2nd book in the "Once Upon a Daddy" series, as well as the 2nd book by Kelli Callahan I've read. The daddy dom is exactly where I'm at sexually so I'm bound to adore these reads no matter what. So, no surprise I did enjoy this read. It's similar in structure to "Daddy's Best Friend", only Daddy Declan seems to have less money. That's all good though, 'coz Declan's got a sexy Scottish accent and a kilt.
I do appreciate the author allowing Madie to work her way through the fetish to find just what level of daddy dom lifestyle suits her, and her partner Declan willing to work with her on that. The honesty and realism of this really enhanced the book. One thing that didn't work for me was too much character inner-dialogue insertion into the narrative. (Ex: "Can I..really?") Some of this works but used too much it's a distraction, particularly for things that can just as easily be expressed with the character's actions (a facial expression, a gesture, etc), or just eliminated altogether. Also, I didn't quite buy the authenticity of Madie's parents' complete change of heart at the end, especially as the reader has no idea exactly what Madie even said to them--at least some revealing of the dialogue there might have helped.
But overall, this was quite sexy and enjoyable, and I'd definitely be in for further entries in the series. I'd like to see perhaps a branching out from 18-20 year old virgin heroine with someone a little older and experienced, and perhaps even a Daddy closer in age to the heroine. A daddy is a daddy is a daddy, after all, and daddies can come in many ages, as can his little girl.

Cute 🥰
So this one definitely took on a different pace than book 1. The lines weren’t so all over the place and it was definitely more just older guy younger girl and less of the need of a “daddy figure” in the relationship. Which I liked.
I do like how Declan knew what he wanted from Maddie despite knowing it could be considered wrong not putting up much of fight. His relationship with his ex-wife seemed very stifling. He couldn’t be himself in anyway and she hated his accent. Which to me sounds completely dumb. You have to here that person talk everyday if you hate the way they sound that much you probably shouldn’t marry them.
But you could tell those insecurities his ex instilled carried over when he found out Marie didn’t completely tell the truth about what happened to her. I do feel like her story wasn’t bad at all. But it’s clear it got twisted all around and was re-told incorrectly by everyone else. I kind of wished we got a chance to see that cleared up.
The other thing I has an issue with was the confronting of her parents. Not that she did but like the sudden forgiveness and seeing the error in their ways so fast. I could see it being one parent if they’ve always felt that way and kept it bottled up which clearly mom did. But the way her father was acting, yeah someone who is so ingrained in how they believe doesn’t just changed because their daughter calls them out on their BS. That usually takes time. So that was super unrealistic to me.
But the wrap up was nice and I loved it.

A heartwarming read that will gladden the heart.

He never thought it would happen with a beautiful girl like Madie. That she returned his love was the best thing to happen to him in years. However the truth is uncovered he ended the relationship and it was a decision that devastated them both. It took a loving daughter to bring them both together once more. In this book we meet Madie and Declan Mackenzie. Madie is back home from college due to an incident that had her needing to leave. Her parents want nothing to do with her the company she worked for recently downsized her and now the job she was trying for she can't get to. So walking back home after her car breaks down she breaks her heal hurts her knee and ends up seeing a man she has had a crush on for years. Oh ya and her luck doesn't look up at this point since he electricity is shut off and he knows why. Declan has been alone for awhile now. Though part of him is glad about it the other is just wishing he could find someone that made him smile again. Seeing his daughter's best friend isn't what he thought would happen that day. Somehow though their time together for the first time in longer than he can remember makes him laugh again. Can these two find a HEA or will the past ruin the future they could have?
This is another amazing hit by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Declan is a hot, divorced father of one college aged daughter and has a sexy Scottish accent. Madie is the best friend of Declan's daughter Anna. Madie is down on her luck, is estranged from her parents and is keeping a secret that has the potential to take everything she holds dear away. Their relationship starts out innocently as Declan helps Madie with some financial assistance and a job. It then, turns to lust and a need that Madie and Declan get satisfied with Declan as Daddy to Madie's naughty lass but, it does builds beyond that to something precious.
I liked the story and Declan and Madie are interesting and somewhat complex characters. I do think Madie's immaturity is a character in and of itself and that has a lot do with her upbringing. It is not until a strong and newly self-assured Declan reenters Madie's life that she actual matures and becomes aware of her actions and their consequences.
It's a good solid story that did bring tears to my eyes as the full force of Madie's regret and remorse surfaces. It is so satisfying to see Madie finally realize her inner strength and to try and fix what's wrong but, the happily ever after is always the best part.

Madie's whole life was full of bad luck & one again the whole world seemed to be against her until the day when when once again bad luck struck on the way to her job interview that was until the arrival of an unexpected knight in shining armour her best friends dad. Madie remembered him immediately as she had a major crush on Declan when she was younger that was obviously still there. Declan spotted Madie by the side of the road & could she she needed help she was his daughters best friend he took her under his wing when he found how desperate her situation was. Their relationship changed the night they had a few too many beers & they felt more than ease with each other which let to obvious flirting leading them to a kiss that Declan felt remorse for later wanting not to take things further saying it shouldn't have happened but they cold not hold back on their feelings for each other for too long. Their relationship quickly became hotter & hotter then realised their feelings to each other changed, they knew they had to tell his daughter Anna but other things got in the way with unexpected results. Another fantastic story from Kelli Callahan.

Madie was having the worse day, well if honest the worse year. A stupid error of judgement had her running from College and now she was back in LA in a crappy car that has just broken down on the way to a job interview. Leaving her car where it is and walking to the bus stop when her shoe broke and she falls banging up her knee. But maybe luck was looking down on her when a car stops and its her best friends dad. Madie remembered Declan, She had a mad crush on him when she was younger and well maybe that never want away. Declan can see Madie needs help and after all she was his daughters best friend so he was happy to help. He had rules but Madie said she would follow them. But after a few beers, who knows what can happen???
This is a great fun read. It made me smile so much. The chemistry was off the charts and the love was heartfelt. Another great read from Kelli Callahan

Maddie runs into Declan when he finds her with her car broke down. Declan is her best friend's father and was Maddie childhood crush. Sparks fly between them and when he learns that her electricity has been shut off he offers her a room to stay at for a few days. He ends up helping her get a job and things start to heat up between them. Declan tries to keep things professional between them but its not long before they give into temptation. Just as things are going well from them his daughter comes home and she tells him a story that Maddie hadn't about what had happened at school. Will Declan give Maddie a chance to explain? Can they find their way back to each other?
This is a great story that will captivate you from start to finish. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

I enjoyed this book. Offering a good blend of heat and heart, this older man/younger woman romance was I thought, a good read. The book has a strong story line that is backed by powerful emotions. The attraction and chemistry between characters was easy to feel and had me rooting for the couple. Of course there is a good dose of drama, tension and emotional turmoil in this forbidden romance. I liked this book and look forward to more books in this series but unfortunately the pet peeve that I had with the first book in this series is still an issue for me. Yes, the book features spanking scenes but no I do not think that the word "Smack" must be used over and over, time and again. I personally found it to be incredibly annoying. This is my truthful review that I am posting of my own accord.

Throws it the oven and it comes out with all the drama, intrigue, angst and a little suspense that brings bad boy together one beautiful piece at a time. Twists and turns abound along with a few glitches, bumps and bruises propels this sizzling storyline and gripping plot that spins this baby to life spectacularly. The characters are genuine, imaginable with depth, traits and personalities that's easily relatable. The scenes are strikingly sharp and descriptive you have no problem picturing each scenario as they play and blend smoothly. Remarkable job, Kelli, thanks for sharing this little wonder with us.

This is the second book in the Once Upon a Daddy series and it brings its own scottish naughty hotness to the series. Madie and Anna are best friends but Madie has a secret. Madie secretly has a crush on Anna's Dad, Declan. Madie course gets in a bind one day and Declan comes to the rescue, what could be better, right? This is a hot and steamy read on how Madie not only gets her chance with Declan but she experiments with the 'Daddy Dom' level that she is looking for. This is not an easy road, especially when you have to tell your best friend that you are dating her Dad. But all is well that ends well when you reach your HEA. An enjoyable read and can be read as a standalone but it is worth checking out the series.

This is a wonderful story with perfectly flawed down to earth characters. Madie left college after an incident that she is truly not proud of and she hasn't told anyone the complete truth of the situation either. She is struggling to keep her head above water since her parents disowned her and she's looking for a job. To add insult to injury her car just broke down and she injured her knee after her best pair of heels broke. Enter Declan, who just happens to be her best friend's dad. He ends up helping her and things develop rather quickly between these two. But since Madie hasn't been completely honest and Declan is a stickler for honesty can their relationship truly last? Grab this fabulous book today and find out. Great read and I highly recommend it!

Here we have a really good story or romance from this author. It is, I almost feel like saying, unusual as it evolves around one man and one woman, whereas in the last few months this author has been sending all different MFM stories out. But this one is truly refreshing and feels good to read. As per usual there certainly are moments in the story where I, the wuss of all times, could have used a tissue, but the path towards the end goal is not always straight and paved. But of course all is well that ends with HEA ... I can at least very well recommend this story and give it beautiful four stars.

Madie is down and really struggling to keep things going. Declan, her best friend's father, finds her on a bench broken, hurt and in need of help. Their relationship develops beyond just helping her in a rough time in her life. But is the age difference a problem? Is her past a problem? What will his daughter Anna think of their situation? The characters bring substance, depth, and complexity to the storyline. The ups and downs along with the developing story keep you on the edge of your seat, while the hot developing romance makes you hold your breath. Great story, with wonderful characters. Just an amazing read.

Do you like hot sexy Scottish men? This book is the one for you!
Madie is down on her luck, on her way to an interview and her car breaks down. Along come someone she hasn't seen in years, Declan Mackenzie... the hot and sexy father of Madie's best friend.
I love the chemistry between the two. I enjoyed how Declan resisted the attraction to Madie, but in the end surrenders to the passion. The story line is fantastic! I was drawn in from the very get go. There's plenty of action, mystery and heartbreak. The backstory is so real that I felt their pain. Kelli did a fantastic job with the 2nd book of the Once Upon a Daddy series! I can't wait to read what else she brings!

Fast and steamy
A quick and super hot read with a happy ending. It’s a taboo story where there is quite a bit of an age gap and the fact the male main character is the father of the best friend of the female lead. Some elements of spanking and daddy dom but it is pretty mild and not over the top. I noticed this author really enjoys write “SMACK!” every time there is a spanking scene. It does get old and somewhat annoying to read 20-30 “SMACK!”s in one scene. Definitely a fast burn book with plenty of hot and steamy scenes. Overall it is a decent read if you are looking for a fast and erotic book. Also, I think it’s a good book for readers who are interested in reading some BDSM to be introduced to that aspect. It isn’t a super heavy BDSM book.

Our heroine is down on her luck and gets rescued by her best friend's father.
This is a erotic romance story with a bit of the taboo in the friend's father thing. There are also some mild elements of D/S and spankings.
The story is well written and easy to follow, with a decent backstory. The characters are good as well, but a little flat. I like the hero who is big on honesty, which of course our heroine violates almost immediately. *Sigh* We are treated to multiple steamy scenes which add a little excitement as well. Overall, I enjoyed the book, but it was not my favorite by this author.

A Seductive Scotsman with his Clan Kilt and a Scottish Brogue.
This is an older man younger woman (approx twenty years his junior) story that includes some light acts of kink and I’m not usually a fan of kink. However, the strong storyline and well-written characters, especially Scotsman Declan and Madie made this particular act tolerable. I also appreciated the fact they explored the reasons for Madie enjoying it then moving their relationship beyond being defined by it. I commend the author for going the extra mile for her readers by maturing this couple.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure.

When everything in Maddies life goes wrong ie he car breaks down she hurts herself etc things start to look up when her best friend Anna's father stops to help her. She has always thought that Declan Mackenzie was hot and even though he has been divorced for four years he never seems to have taken up with someone else. Declan has always been interested in his daughters friend but he knows he is to old for her but the temptation becomes too much Now he will introduce her into the world of daddy doms and in the process will find a love that is it for him. A well written book that thoroughly entertains as always Kelli Callahan has written a wonderful story

Hot read by Kelli Callahan. Who doesn't love a sexy older man with a Scottish accent? Declan was the father all the girls had crushes on. Madie is certainly no exception. After making mistakes while in college, Madie finds herself estranged from her parents, without a job and about to be homeless. Declan brings Madie to his home and offers her a job helping his restore the home he inherited from his aunt. The more time they spend together the closer they become. But will secrets, the age difference and the fact that his daughter Anna is her best friend keep them apart? This is one sexy daddy romance! Definitely recommend.
