Kiwi Hotness!
“You. Me. Bed. Now.” … the title says it all… another quick, spicy, cherry popping, over-the-top, insta-everything tale from Olivia T. Turner. Zoey, a young and utterly innocent American journalist, is assigned to cover the Mostly-Grays rugby team, located in Auckland, NZ. Zoey knows absolutely nothing about rugby (which I easily identify with), and the other sports journalist find her unfamiliarity with the game genuinely appalling. On Zoey’s initial foray into the team locker-room, she is awestruck by one specific player surrounded by journalist but rather than answering questions… his gaze is focused quite intently on Zoey. The huge rugby player is a league favorite, a virtual Samoan God, Akeakamai Saluni or simply Akea. A true beast of a man with his Samoan tribal tattoos, perfectly sculpted body and primary status as the team alpha.
Well written, fast-paced and humorous, the story-line follows the pair from their very first meeting to their inevitable, impassioned bond. The journey is fraught with misunderstandings, intentional deceit (from a vindictive league executive), and Zoey’s (aka. shushukins), own apprehensiveness. Akea’s powerful obsession and desire for Zoey, heightens the sizzling heat as well as excitement, guiding the story-line toward the couple’s HEA. “You. Me. Bed. Now.” Is told from both characters perspectives, is a standalone story and features an epilogue, thirty years in the future, for an idyllic closure to the story.
