Max Carter was an asshole as a teenager. He did stupid things, and one of them was hurting Aria Smith. As a grown man, he has to own up to his mistakes, and now he has to prove to her he’s changed. When he discovers she’s going on a date with some stranger, jealousy fills him.
Aria’s first mistake was getting drunk. Her second one was not deleting her internet history. Her third mistake? Agreeing to use Max for all her sexy desires. He’s an asshole, one she’s been determined to avoid. But it’s the little things, like how he walks her to work and back home every single day. How can she say no?
They were only supposed to be a bit of fun, and their friends were never supposed to find out. However, they can’t hide their feelings for one another, or at least Max can’t. For him, it’s not about fucking—he’s in love with her. Only now, he’s got to make her fall for him, too.
This single man is ready to settle down and become a husband and a father, but will his woman give him the time of day?
This is the concluding installment of the Falling in Love series.
Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound. She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.
Not sure how I feel about this story. Max and Aria could be so stubborn and frustrating. That fumbling around each other at the beginning was irking. I wasn't sure if they really had no clue what they wanted or they played dumb. And more then once, when they say/think something and I'm questioning 'Why?', when theres no reason/need for them to feel like that. And theirs friends were annoying. So, they guessed that theres something going on between Max and Aria, but why they are trying to push them to admit it. If they aren't ready to admit it, they aren't. Why they can't leave it be?
There was something so off about this book. The writing was so forced and there was no chemistry. I’ve read many many of sams books but this didn’t make sense. It didn’t even seem like her writing, or if it was she was really rushed in writing it. I really really wanted to like this but I somehow can’t. I’m gonna maybe try it again and give Sam the benefit of doubt, but as of right now I can’t finish this book. I’ll try again later.
I don't know how I feel about this book. I love books with this type of storyline. Max and Aria knew each other from high school, but Max was a total jerk/douche to her. Now that they are older, Max has changed his ways and want to prove to Aria that he's not the same person she knew in high school. Aria wasn't too keen on getting to know Max, but he made it kind of impossible for her not to see that he has changed from the person he was.
Like I said I love these type of romances, but I just felt like Aria and Max had no chemistry. I liked that Max wasn't overbearing with her and just spent time with her and was there for her when she needed it. Aria annoyed me as she was maybe just to stubborn and I guess you can't blame her for that. All in all just an okay read for me
Only is he in it for kicks, or is he look'n for something more? Until she knows what they're doing, she'll keep things underwraps... But it seems every day, every way she's "Falling For The Bully" just a Li'l bit More might by wise!
Wow... Sam Crescent brought this Series to a close with a bang! I just love how every loose end is tied up & every couple has gotten their HEA's... That's the glorious thing about Sam's writing, she brings the perfect elements together wrapping them into amazing Fantasies culminating in HEA's with Curvy Gals, HEAT, Drama, Hunky Characters (Ohhh Yes, Bring on those Alpha Males!), & all the feels needed in Smexxy RoMANce~ It's absolutely the perfect escape that makes me Dream, Yearn, Sigh, Cry, Cheer, Beg, & in the End Always, ALWAYS Plead for just a Li'l bit More each & every single time!
This is the third and final book in this little series and it belongs to Max. He wants Aria but she doesn't want him. In high school, they were enemies and she honestly has no desire to change her feelings but Max wants to show her that he's not the person he used to be back then. I liked that he didn't pressure her but he still made sure he was around her all the time. It was good to see the other characters from the first two books and get caught up with them. Sam Crescent is an auto buy for me and I really liked this story. Aria was a bit stubborn and I wanted to smack her a few times but she was only trying to protect her heart. I'll forgive her for that. LOL
I was annoyed at their friends' interference in their relationship. Why do they care if they want to keep it a secret until they figure out how they feel? Their friends literally invite themselves over to hang out and sleep while the MCs are secretly dating, knowing full well they are cock-blocking. They try to set their friends up knowing they are making their partner jealous and question their dating history (Aria) and lack of sharing their sexual exploits (Max). Jesus, people don't owe their friends private information. They will tell you about their relationships when they are good and ready.
Aside from the weird overly-attached friends, there was no chemistry between the main characters. Aria and Max's relationship felt forced. There was also no reaction from Aria when she learns and in this one scene their relationship commitment jumps to the extreme: . Slow your roll.
I am not a fan of enemies to lovers romances. Even less if the enemy is a bully. I do like the angsty guilt of turbulent feelings they feel for each other as they get over the pain of the past. And this book has that. I don’t truly believe that you can fall in love with a true enemy. But this series made a decent argument that it “could” happen.
So while I don’t think the male leads in all three books were worth forgiving for their individual BS the author did a nice job of getting the falling in love experiences in her book. Out of the three books I liked the male and female leads of this book the most. They weren’t as stupid as the four other leads were IMO. I also liked Max in all three books and I personally felt that he was treated and thought of badly by his own friends, which I didn’t like. I was glad he got his HEA in the end.
We met Max and Aria in, Falling for the Jerk. Max messed up big time when it came to Aria Smith. One BIG mistake and she wanted nothing to do with him. He now has to make it right. Slowly he has been winning her over. Aria loves working for June. She has even become friends with Molly. Max, is the one that hurt her deeply. He really didn’t know her till that fateful day in the cafeteria. Now he is trying to make up for all the guilt he feels. We learned earlier that Max isn’t a jerk like we thought. Ok, he was a player but when he started to really see Aria, that all changed. He was devoted to her. These two never dated anyone before, never had a relationship. This was all new to them. Aria saw the real Max not the high school one. He had a heart and was always protecting and caring for her. It seems each friend learned something about themselves. And the women found men that grew up and learned that the past is just that the past.
There were a couple places where the book didn’t make sense (implying that the H bullied her throughout HS but then saying he only once called her a name which stuck with her.) that perplexed me a bit
I didn’t like the condom use but I understand why it had to be used in the story, but it was still distasteful and stole the intimacy and closeness of the moment. Other than a good book and I really LOOOOOVED how innocent the heroine was; I can’t stand it when the heroine has spread her legs and given her body to another man. So her innocence—and the Hs possession in claiming her, knowing she only belongs to him—was the best part of the book.
I also appreciated that the author provided a very nice epilogue. Loved how their story ended up.
This author is a true genius when it comes to the subtle shift in a bully victim relationship that turns hate into love. I enjoyed the characters in this book and the slow build up to a HEA that was meant to last. I especially liked the way Max didn’t even remember his actions and was guilt ridden over when careless slip of the tongue. The author had me completely captivated by this story and I can’t wait to read her next bully book.
Trey use to bully Arias at high school. And it turn out Arias work for June and every night Trey walk Arias home. Until one day he found out she had a date .😍😘😘😉😉😉

I always enjoy Sam Crescents stories, her alpha males are very likable, and her females are usually level headed, and strong. Her stories are interesting and sexy, you get to know the characters well!.
Loved hot sweet sexy .. He was sorry she forgave it started as a secret but they found their HEA .. It was good to still read about the others from this series too
I think it's becoming ridiculous with some books that the hero is a complete ass, but he isn't or does all of these things for the heroine that has never done before for another woman. I don't think it's realistic. And it kept coming back to that... "He never considered this, but with Aria..." Yeah, we get it.
Having said that, I would like to say, I enjoyed their chemistry and I liked that the hero loved the heroine first. A man knowing what he wants, many times is very sexy.
I loved the epilogue as well and the concept of him regretting bulling her at high school!
I liked this but I did have a couple of problems with it. For one thing they kept saying that Max bullied Aria in high school, but then they said he only called her a name once and that was it. They kept going back and forth with that, which was annoying. The second thing is that Max kept a really big thing from Aria at the end and he should have told her immediately. One time the condom broke and Max didn’t tell Aria and she ended up pregnant. So not cool!

After the couple of releases from Sam, I was seriously apprehensive about picking up this title. But, honestly I’m so glad I did. This is the Sam Cresent writing I have adored and loved. 5 ⭐️ and very recommended.
Good story. Typical of this author. But I loved that the female lead was plus sized. I loved Max's growth in this story as well. I'm glad he went from the menagerie of women he usually went through at night to stopping all together. But I did want him to grovel for her. He was a slut remember.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the concept of it and the story. However I did find in the first half I struggled a bit to keep reading but the second half was so much better.
