There’s lots of nice pictures. The wolves were cute at the start.

While I don’t see myself doing any of the extreme trips like skiing down mountains, skating across glaciers, or diving into deep oceans, strolling through medieval cities or traveling through ancient landscapes looks delightful. Someday, after COVID, we will travel again. I promise.

Stunning photographs. I mean, absolutely gorgeous visuals. Mr. Watkins and Ms. Jones seemed to go out of their way to find some really off-the-beaten-path "things to do before you die," though there was some overlap with the other book by these two, Unforgettable Journeys to Take Before You Die, as well as the first in the series, Unforgettable Places to See Before You Die. I'm not sure there's a really clear delineation between "things to do," "journeys to take," and "places to see." Most all of the trips chosen in any of the three books could have been shuffled into either of the others just fine.

Anyway, they introduced me to some intriguing locations I would have been unlikely to find on my own. For example, the sections on "Tasting Warrior Life" in Mongolia and "Searching for Black Pearls" in French Polynesia. Both are interesting slices of the world I really don't know much about but now I'm intrigued enough to go find out more. And I liked the little "travel tips" at the end of each section.

Honestly, though, the main emotion coursing through my mind while reading this book was something bordering on insane jealousy. If they're looking for someone to help test out a bunch of unforgettable trips for a fourth book, I'm available. (Call me!)

I liked that this book isn't just an endless streem of blah, blah, blah, things to do before you die. I enjoy quality over quantity anytime, and this book give recommendations of travel adventures that aren't just experiances but 'unforgettable' experiances!

The ones that I found to be most enticing were:
Hiking through Arches, USA
Swimming the Thermal Spas, Iceland
Riding Elephants, Nepal
Trekking the Milford Track, New Zealand
Searching for Pearls, French Polynesia
Camel Trecking, Wadi Rum, Jordan

A great escape to daydreams of future travel possibilities. Gorgeous photos of all destinations. I am suddenly inspired to sell all of my possessions and cycle my way through Vietnam, trek the Milford Track in New Zealand, and swim in the thermal spas of Iceland.

This was a great resource to add some ideas to shape my world travel dreams. Each section focused on an experience you could take in the ideal area like trekking in Nepal or Red Sea Diving in Egypt. Some experiences would be beyond my wallet but nice to hear about.

This book was worth it just for learning about the Mongol Warrior training camp. Oh boy do I want to do that.

gostei maior parte das viagens neste livro, mas penso que deveria haver mais fotos e explicações, foi demasiado conciso.

Good for inspiration, but not much practical advice. Also geared more towards the high-end on prices.
