Angel Girl

Rate this book
I was born Jamie Murdock, an MC Princess in the Aces High Motorcycle Club.
At seventeen, I was promised to one of the club members. At eighteen, I ran.
I couldn’t quite shake the MC blood that rolled through my veins though. I formed Sierra High Evermore Motorcycle Club with other women who had enough of being underestimated, underappreciated, and underneath the men in our world. We prospered as a club, and I managed to hide behind my road name until my father’s club decided to expand into our area. That was when Sweet found me again. I’d been away for seven years, started a new life, and there he was still running just as hot and cold as he always had. Nothing had changed. Everything had changed. It was only a matter of time before our shared past began to look a lot more like a new future.

Angel Girl is book one in the S.H.E. MC Series
1 - Angel Girl
2 - JoJo
3 - Keys
(more coming soon)

* Angel Girl is a 120,000-word novel (stemming from a novel and novella put together into one story) so it is quite lengthy and meant for adult readers.

This was an original MC book to say the least! Gotta love a book with a baddass female Prez! And Angel was baddass in every way.

With a backstory of pain, betrayal mingled with misunderstanding, Angel Girl paved her way through hard work and perseverance after running away from her own MC family, to becoming the Prez of her own successful all female MC, that she rules with and iron fist and a no nonsense brain.

Refreshing...

Great premise, good backstory. Strong characters all around.

Downside?

The hero. He just didn't measure up to her strength. He was weak and lacking that strong Alpha thing. He was too flirty and was consistently messing up. It got stupid at a point. And most it was all OW drama bullshit. Which I would have thought the heroine would have been SO over. Dude was sleazy and too flirty. Just seemed like he lacked the conviction of winning her properly and the strength to do the right thing with some sort of backbone.

Because of this and the abrupt 'WTF' ending. I rate it a 3 star.

2 ⭐⭐ - Meh!
===============
2019

That same night, I watched my supposed betrothed take not one, but two of the club whores back behind closed doors, and he winked at me when he did it. Is there any doubt why I went running as soon as I was able? That wasn’t even the end of our story either, sadly.

After my mom died, my dad brought the club whores around all the damn time. I hated him for it because he let them into our home. My mom’s memories were tainted and obliterated by those bitches.

“You grew up nice, kid.” I suppose that was a compliment coming from my dad. Coming from the man he became after my mom died anyway. My dad – the one from before her death – would have had far sweeter words for me.

Man, if she could have come back to life and seen the way my dad paraded whores through her house after she died, I honestly think she would have killed him on the spot herself. Love of her life or not she would have shot his ass for exposing me and our home to that shit.”

Seeing Sweet offer up an easy smile, cocky grin, or genuine laugh to so many of the women from my club, not to mention their friends, was not a fun thing to endure.

“You have the number of just about every bitch in this joint. You could have asked any of them for it. Hell, you could have asked me for it.” Quickshot returned. I glanced at Legs when that was said, and she tipped her head in acknowledgment that she’d heard.

I was in the process of returning that smile when a scantily clad brunette screeched, gaining his attention, then ran and flung herself into Sweet’s arms. Actually, her legs wrapped around his waist, and her arms flew around his neck in a crazy tight squeeze of a hug while Sweet’s hands dropped to cradle her in place, using her ass cheeks as handholds. “Baby, I missed you so much,” she squealed before planting her mouth on his.

He’s made it clear to both her and his other regular girl, Becca, that he didn’t want that. Hell, if it were going to be one of the two of them, it would have been Becca, not Alice.

“Maybe resign yourself to me being with no one then. I’m seriously over cheaters, liars, and assholes that would leave me in the lurch for their career. I have yet to meet one single man who has managed to make me their number one priority in life, so I refuse to give any more of myself to people who won’t do the same for me.” My father’s features took on a pained expression. “Jamie,” his voice was a hoarse whisper. “I’m so sorry for the part I played in you feeling that way. You’re still so young though. I’m not going to give up on you finding someone who makes you happy, and starting a family.” “Well, I’ll leave the hopeful shit to you then, dad. I’m fresh out.”

the first thing I saw as my eyes adjusted to the low light of the warehouse the boys had turned into a clubhouse was Sweet with the very same woman from yesterday standing behind him massaging his shoulders as he sat slumped over somewhat at the bar. “That stupid fucker!” Quickshot ground out through gritted teeth.

“No. Her name was Becca. I had been seeing her and Alice for a couple years on and off. I was also with other women at the time, because none of them ever had me. You feel?” “But you almost settled down with Becca?”

“I get that, but not so many months ago you were cutting out all your side action to make Becca happy.”

Becca and I had spoken at the beginning of the year about making it official soon.

“Becca was a placeholder that helped keep the others at bay when I was tired of the drama,” I told him.

“The day I landed in Sierra High, and saw Jamie, I sent Becca a text telling her we were done. I wasn’t busted up about it. Never even gave her a second thought, dude. Like I said, she was just a low drama chick to pass time with.”

this book started so good... love the idea of the all Female club!
The h was great till 75% then she decides from nowhere to be a ultimate bitch to one of the club member that was dealing with the death of her father and the possible loss of her business!
for looked like the author decided to create a little bit of drama for the next book (second book is about this club member)
Then the H shows up! what a waste of air... Nothing and a say nothing about him was likeable! what a asshole! He was an ass 7 years ago and still is!

There's OW drama (a lot), cheating that was not cheating, miss communication!

2 stars because of amazing side characters, Quickshot, Spike, and Tash!

Sweet/MMC was no better than Peety (a pointless side villain). Sweet was never MMC material. I’m only 41% and I haven’t even gotten to his current OW’s yet and I’m struggling to hang on. So far, other than the all female biker club, NOTHING else is interesting in this book.

Sweet’s character is of a man who plays women off each other. His actions when the FMC was 17 and their betrothal was announced was to push the FMC away by grabbing two CW’s and going into a room with them in her face. INSTEAD OF having a conversation with a 17 year old that he wants her to make the best life choices for herself and that it shouldn’t be about him/them as a couple. At least according to his BS explanation later in the story. Only for this same MMC to hit on EVERY SINGLE WOMAN in the vicinity of the FMC on day one of finding her again. AND leaving with one, with the absolute intention of making the FMC believe he was hooking up with another woman. All for the sole purpose of getting a rise out of the FMC. See my point that he plays women against each other? His actions are mentally detrimental, manipulative in the worse ways, and I’m supposed to believe he was faithful when no one knew that but him?! Then for him to roll in seven years later still thinking she was a virgin!! Is he insane?!?! He didn’t stay “faithful” and she ran from him specifically for that lack in fortitude, so what did he think she was doing? Did he honestly think she was holding out while he clearly couldn’t, wouldn’t, didn’t?? How does this make any logical sense to anyone. Granted, he seems to be some kind of good looking, charming retard, but still!!

52% UPDATE

After an epic smackdown of the MMC’s poor behavioral choices at the 51% mark, two pages later the FMC decides to give “them” as a couple a chance. Based. On. Nothing. And what’s worse is that she decided that when a BETTER man was showing her interest and she was likewise doing the same!! This is unreal! 🤦🏻‍♀️🙄🤮

Then the FMC gives the MMC an out saying, “ I know you already explained yourself”, BUT HE DIDN’T!! Everyone else explained his behavior to her. How the man is being made a prez of any charter is beyond me, because he only ever talks when he is flirting with someone else or as a grunt or a joke!! Ugh.

54% UPDATE

Wait, all of a sudden the FMC doesn’t like Jojo?!? In NO PART OF THIS BOOK UP TIL NOW has the FMC expressed any distaste for Jojo. In fact in one of the earlier chapters when they were sparring the FMC was beyond complimentary and she even kissed her affectionately on the nose after a take down! This is out of left field! Now this book has straight gotten worse than it’s been to this point.

67% UPDATE

This book is going sideways fast. Never mind the worthless MMC. The issues I’m now having is the relationship between the FMC and Jojo. The entire first half of the book they were besties even if Jojo didn’t have a high rank in the club but she was still front and center based on her skills. Then there was that throwaway statement that the author had the FMC thinking how she never liked Jojo and that she had always rubbed her the wrong way. But that was promptly followed by a normal friendly tight club member behavior. Now is another random throwaway thought that Jojo adamantly refused to be a bridesmaid, which if you don’t like her and she’s not a high ranking member then why would you want her to be(?), and the FMC continues that thought with she refused because the FMC didn’t go to Jojo’s father’s funeral. Ummm, where’s the “loyalty” the FMC has been harping the entire book about if you would abandon one of your trusted members in the wake of a close relatives death?!?!!! I ABSOLUTELY don't like the “b!tch” PETTY behavior from the FMC right now! Like WTF!

88% UPDATE

So the book ends on sort of a cliffhanger with regards to other characters. That was annoying as the side characters don't all have books yet. Also, the following 10% is the POV of the MMC of when he first met the FMC, through when he lost the FMC, to the present. Why the F#ck is this not just in the book to begin with?? Why not just edit this into the story if it was done post publication? I was so done with this book that to read POV's from such a nonentity of a MMC is beyond unappealing. So you are warned.

Having said that, this book was not satifying in any way. The FMC was strong unitl she cried in nearly every chapter. And nearly every time she had s e x with the MMC. Then in the last half of the book she was a "B" to one of the side characters in her club for no real reason, only for the author to add that it was because she was a doppleganger for the FMC's childhood BFF who sabotaged her relationship with the MMC seven years before. That felt like it was a BS excuse added to close a loophole in the story. Because there is NO WAY you would simply NOT REALIZE that a friend looks like an enemy of old! The MMC met Jojo early on in the book and he wasn't once struck with the similarities in appearances, so this simply does not track as an authentic reason for drama between the ladies. The author might as well have stated the FMC was PMS'ing as a better more believable reason for the catty behavior.

Now let me explain a lot of the things that made no sense in the plot.

First the confrontation with her ex bff/OW/Marisol where the chick breaks down a play by play of having f#cked the MMC to the FMC. We never get the fallout of that conversation. Did the FMC just stay smiling at her until she left? She didn't beat her into a pulp? No screaming, yelling, christ not even some kind of hair pulling cat fight?? The OW just came over dropped her bomb and left unscathed and NO ONE noticed they weren't friendly anymore. I mean we should have been told the OW was beat the hell up and no one was talking about why at least. Again, there’s no possible way anyone comes to your house and humilates you to your face and you don't lash out. And let's not forget the reason Marisol gave to the MMC when he came asking why the FMC disappeared. That simply had no logical rationale. Marisol wanted to break them up so the FMC would go with her to college like they planned. Yeah, maybe don’t tell your BFF you f#cked her man if you are trying to tempt her to go anywhere with you. Doesn't she know anything?!?

Next the FMC went to college and owned businesses and her father/MMC's MC never found her in seven years but they can find a sex trafficking ring running low tech with no problems?? Not even when she was in the hospitat four years back. No cyber alerts for these people who have their own cyber genius who just so happens to be the male best friend of the FMC, Quickshot/Wallace? But again they can follow the financials of criminals but not upstanding citizens? Hell, in the beginning of the story the FMC had explained her run in with the law over the assault of a cheating exboyfriend and his skank. But still no notice of her career or her college life or her charges?? There are so many unexplained situations in this story that would have just solved some of the silly conflicts and it would still have been a crap story, just a better crap story.

One of my pet peeves is when people make statments like this about themselves, “grown a$$ woman, grown a$$ man”, etc. If you have to say this to anyone then something you are doing is contrary to this statement and just makes you look childish and or immature. The FMC kept saying this in the first half of the book and then promptly followed it up with crying, running away AND hiding, saying one thing and then doing another, like when she talks about loyalty but then doesn't show any for Jojo or for her MMC or even her dad. Grown ass woman my patooty!

Lastly, the FMC gave into her father and the MMC too easily. I've mentioned above how she told the MMC she expected respect in behavior from him and because of his continued flirting she wasn't going to give him a chance and then TWO PAGES LATER they are a couple without any effort on the MMC's part to correct himself before this. The relationship with her father was no different. The FMC had no intention of ever reaching out to him, no intention of mending fences as evidenced by the start of this book with no mention of her ever going back to her dad at any point in the future. But she took him back into her life right from the moment he showed up on her doorstep once he found her again. That ruined the angst because other than him apologizing, hugging her and crying with her about his past treatment of her, which was done very shallowly I might add, they were all one big family all over again with no real effort made. Just words. The FMC's dad got his new love interest with little to no effort and we the reader are stripped of reading that romance and then a whole lot of useless side drama that leads to the FMC getting a baby with no emotional or personal sacrifice at all.

Spoilers!! The MMC got his steady f#ck buddy pregnant before the MMC relocated to the south and finding the FMC again. No cheating but this was a sad plot twist to ensure a false HEA if ever I saw one. And again, negates his statements that he was celibate for years after the FMC left only to have a quasi relationship with at least two FWB’s. Yeah, he’s faithful to everyone BUT the FMC.

The HEA was not valid. It was contrived. It was a square peg wittled down to fit the triangled sloppy plot of this book. It was very much a frustrating read and I probably won't read the following stories anytime soon. Another reviewer made two comments that I agreed one hundred percent with.

1) "It was like the stronger Jamie (FMC) was, the weaker Sweet (MMC) was".And considering how much she cried and ran away alot, this speaks volumes.

AND

2) "In Christine Michelle book series, you either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become a villain". Quoted by reviewer Aarann. This is across most of her books not strictly in this particular book.

But still an apropos and succinct summarization of these books.

I'm so very happy that I finally found a girl MC book... It was good but a little dry and lag in some spots... I also had hoped the heroine was going to be more of a bad ass but I guess I couldn't have my cake and eat it too right?

Overall rating:
3* ~ it was good.

3.5 stars...Perceived cheating ,misunderstandings and miss communication galore!( So this one is not for my friend Lydia as is everything we recently lamented in our recent convo regarding our relentless preference and search for blatant page cheating !)
So many obstacles lie ahead and in their history before they get their second chance\HEA! Including ow pregnancy discovered and hidden by him on wedding day!😲 So...clearly plenty of ow drama. 😂
Full transparency ..the writing dragged for me in some areas involving "club business.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

This is not my first rodeo with Christine Butler, she has fast become a favorite author of mine, and when I see her name of any new releases I will always one click. Christine has a unique and gifted talent for bringing fiction to real world. I am not saying that just to blow smoke up of people a$$’, it is the truth. I am not joking I always make sure I have wine and Kleenex handy before I go into reading any book by this author. I read to escape and there is not a time that I have any of this authors work that I have escaped into her words, Angel Girl was no exception!!

Angel Girl was a brilliant, gritty, and full of angst, alpha hotness, hot scenes, family drama, betrayal and so many twists and turns I never saw them coming. Angel Girl was a book that I have been waiting for, why because the females in this MC are not your usual damsel in distress, oh no ma’am these are the heroines I was dreamed for a long time. I love how the author is not afraid to show how family life is not all sunshine and rainbows every family has issues.

I am not going to give out any spoilers and much of the story line because it is better to go into this story on your own, so that you can experience the many feels as I did. Angel Girl is our lead character and she is amazing, like I had a girl crush on her. She is strong, does not accept excuses and does not and I repeat does not take the men in her life being womanizer. This character has so many endearing attributes that had me feeling all of her many emotions; the pain, anguish, vulnerability and her desires and expectations.

We have a blast of her past, Sweets who I wanted to seriously throat punch in the junk but as the story progressed, I found there was more behind the man. Let us face men can be idiots and Christine brings it full circle in this book. I wanted to throw my kindle so many times, but I held strong and kept reading. Darn this author always makes me ugly cry at a drop and at the same time make me want to high five all my girls.

Angel Girl will had me at the edge of my seat, holding by breathe and waiting for the next shoe to drop. It flows superbly page after page. The character develop was intricately made to fit the perfection of this story. I mean you need a bad A$$ chick to be the Prez of an all women MC but you also need a touch of femininity and Angel Girl had that in spades.

Three stars for "Part 1" and 1 star for "Part 2" so I'm splitting the difference at 2.

I knew from reading other books by this author (but still enjoying one or two of them) that this was going to be A Lot. But sheesh, this was like... I dunno, is "angst-gore-porn" a term? I liked Jamie (really wish the author had just called her "Angel" instead of adding the "Girl"), although I didn't really buy her as a believable character. Sweet/Scott was... less so. Honestly, he was a pretty weak male lead. It was like the stronger Jamie was, the weaker Sweet was.

I knew going into this that I was going to have to suspend some disbelief. After all, it's a book about a tough, women's biker club in the patriarchal, misogynistic world of MC romance. Adding to the suspension, in the other book I liked by this author, she put her FMC through the wringer just so she could have a grovel-fest with the men who done her wrong and it was fun, but not realistic. In the other book I didn't like, she put her FMC through the wringer so she could have a grovel-fest with the men who done her wrong and his older brother, for some reason, and it was just not realistic. As with the other books, there are a lot of private, very personal info-dump style conversations had when, oops, the people who screwed up were standing there listening the whole time, just so they could feel worse about the situation. Again, I knew what was coming here.

What I didn't realize was coming was a weak MMC who was just kind of "okay" in part one, and refused to learn from past mistakes in part two, just so he could fuck up more and they could have more angst-fests. Part 1 didn't feel entirely complete due to some loose ends, but the romance felt like it ended in a good place. Part 2 could have been spent making me feel good about these two while tying up those loose ends and showing me a happy, stronger couple, but the author decided to put them through the wringer some more and all I saw were two people who probably aren't going to be able to stay together past the 5 year mark because they refused to communicate (which was the problem the first time).

Additionally, I am not sure I ever knew this about myself until now, but I can deal with a cheating hero before I can deal with a weak one, as long as the author knows what they're doing.

Next up is JoJo's story, followed by Keys. I'm interested... but... less so now.

Fine line between real family and Club family.....remember that!

Where to begin....first off let me tell I loved everything about this book I mean an all girls MC just WOW!! This is my first read dealing with an all girls MC and Christine done it amazingly well. These girls can take care of their own that's for sure. It's a well oiled endeavor for sure. Enough to make her dad whom is president of the Aces High MC envy her control.

Ok onto the review for this book I'm always digressing lol....oops.

Jamie Murdock is an MC Princess to the Aces High MC her dad is the president. She grew knowing about the MC but not really having much involvement with it until she loses her mom. Then she's thrown in with dealing with the ugliness of said club life. It's even brought into her home which is a big NO/NO. She's dealing not to bad with everything going on around her until her dad decides whom she's going to marry. Can we say dark ages and the words "betrothed" hmmmm....interesting right?? Well that's all I'm going to say on that subject you are going to have to read the book to find out the rest but it's definitely pulling you in right?? It did me....

Then we got Sweet a promise of VP and the words betrothed mixed together hmmmm...interesting too. Sweet has always had a sweetspot for the daughter of his President of the MC. Can't keep his eyes off of her that's for sure. Just when he thinks he can have it all a bunch of things happen to the disappearance of the MC PRINCESS! Lot's of miscommunication, half truths, and lies lead up to the Princess taking a runner.

Fast forward 7 years and yes I said 7 years and then BAM! we find ourselves in the Southern Appalachian mountains. An MC called Sierra High Evermore MC (S.H.E.) that name alone should hint at the all female MC. This is where we meet Angel Girl the president of the all girls MC. She's alot tougher now then when she left that's for sure. I mean they took out the Winter's Renegade MC or did they??? some things come to light, truths are told, misconceptions revealed. How does Jamie and Sweet get through this?? Well again read the book.

I love how all of Christine Michelle's book intertwine. Pay real close attention and you might pick up on what I did or maybe not!! Cryptic yes...because I'm not giving it all away that would be an injustice to you as a reader. Just know that my heart goes out to Jamie for her circumstances and the girls she helps save. Just READ the book....
I highly recommend this book and all books by Christine Michelle. She has a way of drawing you in and not letting go until the end. The MC world she has created us readers to get lost in, is amazing. It's full of great storyline, fast paced storyline, HOT AF sexy alpha men, STRONG women counterparts and hot AF sex too, with lots of angst thrown in.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Four Stars for me is a book I loved and would read again. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I have been a long time fan of Christine Michelle / Christine M Butler’s - but her latest releases (in the past 12 months) have just surpassed all her other works.

Angel Girl was great. I love that Michelle’s characters are flawed. They are real. They make mistakes and Angel Girl and Sweet are no different. We can take so much from their story. My heart broke for both of them on so many occasions when reading this arc. But true to Michelle’s characters Angel Girl pulls her big girl parties on and just gets on with it!

I love how these series (Aces High- SHE, Charleston, Dakotas, Cedar Falls and even TIE) are all slightly interconnected. We learn a little bit more about the side characters in each one. I am very much looking forward to JoJo’s story and I hope Mimi gets her own S.H.E. Book too.

This story can also be read as a stand-alone.

Part 1 was great. Part 2 he gets his ex pregnant and ex announces it to him as him and Jamie wedding. He marries Jamie and doesn’t tell her until after. Idiot. Little bit of drama with ex and then Jamie and sweet raise baby as their own 🙄 Not my preference and Don’t recommend . Stories with females who use it as a trap is tasteless - part 2 seems pointless as drama added.

Jojo story is a good read, though Jamie ( Angel Girl ) comes across as a horrible character. Seems weak and reinforces my dislike of Sweets.

Another great book!! I love this group of strong women who have their own mc! Angel is a strong, loyal & fair leader, but i like that shes still working the kinks out of her group. As always the love between the main chatacters is realistic & raw. Im not a fan of the misunderstandings that wouldnt have happened if the characters only talked to each other, but in this case it works!! I am loving Christine Michelle!!

"No loyalty, no patch" I loved that and that scene was so great!
I liked Angel Girl but I didn't love it. I think I got spoiled by Dec (The Other Princess) and Smoke (Redemption Weather)... I loved these men and their women. When I finished their stories, I felt that they were meant for each other, they each complimented each other so beautifully and had a true partnership. The passion, protectiveness and loyalty Dec and Smoke had for their ladies was amazing!!! I kept waiting for Sweet and Jamie to inspire those feelings in me and I just don't feel like they ever did. Like I said, Dec and Smoke spoiled me :)

I still love Christine's books and they are still a one-click buy for me. There hasn't been any and I love the drama, angst and humor in each book. I am looking forward to the next one!

A good read

Spoilers

I really enjoy the books by this author, including this one.... Although I feel like as many stupid, immature, and ridiculous mistakes he made, she forgave him too easily. Especially after he basically hit on every girl in her club. Still a good read I would recommend.

So damn good! Loved this book so much. Loved how it linked to aces mc.

Think CM got the right mix of hardarse n femininity/softness for the female biker club.

Loved all the great characters, the depth, the plots n angst which drive me mad but which I love.

Was disappointed with whiskey tango foxtrot- it almost put me off reading anymore of CM books it was so bad. But this book has gotten her back on track big time. If the SHE series continues in this vein I'm gonna be her no 1 fan.

Absolute must read if you love mc biker books.

I have read upto 50% and stopped, It started out with so much promise, I loved the idea off an all female MC, who kicked ass and asked questions after, In theory I thought that was what we would get, Jmaie is definitely kick ass and she has a reason for it, I loved Quick but sorry I did not like the lead male sweets, for someoen who professed to wat this woman he acted like a spoiled child, he was incredibly immature, I think with the idea of teh all female club you tried to hard to make the men look pathetic, when we all know that is so far from the truth. There are all woan MC's in real life and probably get the respect. This book didn't od it for me at all. It lost its way. SO my first 'DNF' of the year

Started strong, but then kind of fizzled in the storyline.

Recap:
Angel girl/Jamie is the daughter of a MC president who promised her to his future VP Sweet. After time the started to fall for one another until lies and lack of communication cause her to leave and abandon all she has known. She moved to college and experienced a lot of wild things, sexually and even a misc** and all this made her stronger but it was hard and traumatic. Then she found some strong women and formed her own women’s MC club, legal and took care of their own and town. Sweet is in town to check on new extension of the club and when meeting with the other club in town as a courtesy he finds the one woman who has had his heart, Jamie. He tries to act all cool and piss her off and then only backfires on him in the long run. Now that he knows where she is he tells her father and her best friend who’s like her brother, and they all end up showing up. This only causes the two clubs to have to coexist and interact in which some of her girls are showing loyalties and some are showing change. This force is sweet and Jamie to be in the same environment a lot and caused their tension to only increase, but he doesn’t know all the trauma she’s gone through and it slowly starts to come out. The truth slowly comes out about what happened with them, but they are both keeping secrets from one and another. Eventually, they forgive one another and they try to move on with her finally letting go. He proposes and on their wedding day he gets the ultimate secret and keeps it from her. He finds out that he’s going to be a dad and doesn’t tell her in which their honeymoon is a disaster and he is constantly on the phone, not paying attention to her because he’s trying to hide the truth. She leaves a day early and he chases after her and the truth finally comes out in what she’s very hurt. Jayme can’t have kids and this is up below to her heart. But she knows that the child did nothing and only wants to support the other woman. With that a lot of things happen again, and in the end, the woman gives up the daughter to them, and Jayme and sweet raised her as their own. HEA

I have to say her books just keep getting better with every one that she writes. I loved this book. It’s got an unusual storyline because it’s about an all-girl MC which is very rare to see. Angel grew up in an MC, but things happened, and she disappeared. Life goes on and she eventually started an MC of her own, Sierra High Evermore or S.H.E. She’s one tough character that I wish I could grow up like. Another MC is moving to town and they come for a meeting with her. That’s when Sweet comes back into her life. He was going to make her his when she left and now that he’s found her again, she’s going to pay. Or is she? There’s a lot of background in the story that will make you cry and want to throat punch several people (including Sweet). You have everything that you can ask for in a book, action, suspense and romance. So, go grab a copy for yourself and get comfortable. You won’t want to put it down until you have read it all.

Surprised!

3.5 stars-
I didn't go into this book with the highest of expectations to he honest. I hadn't heard many people talk about It but It seemed like something different and right up my alley, so I went It.
This was an entertaining read, I enjoyed the take of MC romance the author decided to go with because It resulted in a unique experience.
Even thoght the writting was good and the story compelling, the author didn't do a good job convincing me about the while sisterhood thing. If you read the book you'll ser but only the women betrayed, they were all whores por similar. only those Angel consideres her friends were trated fairly AND that was kinda shitty even thoght I do understand that some things come with the world the book is built on.
As for the romance, I liked, enjoyed It even but I wanted a little but more. It didn't feel like se got enough "couple" time on page.
Overall I has a good time.

Excellent!

I love Christine Michelle all her books are touching, heartfelt this book is no different! All Christine Michelle MC books are all the Aces High MC but different charters. S.H.E is a whole other ballgame or should I say game changer. Jaime aka Angel girl was the Aces princess her dad being the pres of the West Virginia charter. Jaime was and is not your typical princess. Sweet isn't a typical Aces member he's loved Jaime/Angel girl since she was 16 but in typical MC drama lies are told and mess happens. They lose 8 years together. Angel girl manages to make her own female MC that can rival the ACES. Alas she reunites with her Aces family and boom drama unfolds. I couldn't put it down and I now wait for book two.

Angel Girl isnt your typical MC book... we are introduced to Angel Girl after 7 yrs that she ran away from her heartbreaking past. The man that should always protect her checked out on her and then Sweet did wrong. (In some ways)

Well her past comes knocking at her clubhouse door and Angel Girl gets Answers but in between that things are happening towards her club.. oh i haven't mention that her Club is Just Female #GirlPower this is my first Female MC and it didn't disappoint. Well now we have to wait for The next book JoJo

This appears to be a standalone Series but the next book will be of a different Member but will continue where A.G left off

I enjoyed reading about Angel girl (Jamie Murdock) and Sweet President of the Aces high motorcycle club. They were engaged when their were very young and broke up after a lot of misunderstanding and miscommunication. After seven years, they meet again they both feel the strong sexual and strong interpersonal pain. Their relationship is very complicated and they struggle to open and honest with each other. I felt that this book was rushed and questions weren’t answered. The novel felt like a cliffhanger, did angel girl and sweet have other children? What happens to their future marriage problems that the biological mother’s might try and involved herself in Sweet life to get him back?

Great story, I also need closure.

This story was good and had me locked in. I couldn't put it down. Well-rounded drama. Meaning the drama was plentiful and captivating enough. I did not like the way both Ghost and Sweet chose handle their individual issues. Sweet made a lot of bad choices for the right reasons. The book is also a great reminder that COMMUNICATION IS KEY, in fiction and real life. I know it's the first in a series but I was disappointed in the ending... It just kinda ended and now on to Focus on the next lady. I'm sure we'll get side story updates about Angel and Sweet throughout upcoming books in the series but it's not the same.

Loved It

I love when books interconnect even if it's just as simple as characters showing back up. This book was amazing and I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I love how Angel Girl is strong and can admit when she is wrong. That is a hard thing to do and not an easy combo to have. This book made me go and read the rest in Christine Michelle's MC collection and I wasn't disappointed. I'm not sure why it took me so long to read all of them but I can't wait for more books to come out.
