Rhy Ellison, former elite Navy SEAL Commander, retired from the teams the same way he lived, in a blaze of glory. After nearly thirty years of stellar service, he almost crashes and burns, but his hard-earned reputation saves him from a court martial. Now all he wants is to kick back in Margaritaville, but the Department of Homeland Security has other ideas.
The DHS Special Group Leader offers him a contract he couldn’t refuse, they need him to put his famed skills back in the game and help recover vital information stolen from a CIA asset overseas. When Rhy learns the CIA pain-in-the-asset involved is none other than Harper Chandler, a woman he never wants to see again, much less work with, taking the mission becomes a no-go, even with the money.
Then he learns the missing dossier could clear him of crimes he’s been accused of that led to his court martial, Ryh signs on without a second thought. The opportunity to clear his name is too important to be brushed aside. Especially by the woman directly responsible of killing his men, and almost his career.
He’ll pay the price of working with the beautiful, cocky, know-it-all if that’s what it takes. But he refuses to allow her to get him killed or give her another shot at his heart.
When Si taps Rye for this mission, he knows it's not going to be easy for the former SEAL Commander. There's a lot of unresolved information and many people he just doesn't trust anymore.
Even though he was reinstated the whole process of court-martial has left bad feelings all around.
Harper is a CIA asset, she's spent her entire career finding information and directing assaults against the enemy. Including the one that had Rhy's team surrounded with him the only survivor.
Both are now hell bent on finding out what really occurred that day, as well as taking down the responsible people, both friendly and enemy. There's also a history beyond the professional with Rye and Harper, one that neither has completely put in the past.
Reliving the past is never a good way to go, but the doubts are still there and they have to get past that.
As this mission unfolds, so does another aspect with the appearance of Sully, someone else who had been around the first time around.
Plenty of tension, action, and heat in more ways than one, as their objectives are met.
I have liked all the other books in the series I’ve read but this one didn’t work for me. I felt like there was zero connection or chemistry between to two main characters. Rye thought Harper had a part in the setup but it was never explained much and then they were having sex and then he was back to not trusting her again. They both explain that they were heading toward a wedding before his team was attacked but from the little background it gave, it sounded like they only slept together right before the attack. If there was more, we as readers wasn’t told about it. Even after their command post had been attacked and Harper almost killed, Rye wasn’t even concerned about Harper. This is a direct quote “I don’t care what you do with this building but we’re heading back to the States. You can stay here, or you can go with us”......if he felt so much, how could he say that. Why wouldn’t he demand she go or stay with her to make sure she was safe? Then after she gets back stateside, he didn’t even try to contact her. SHE had to call him and come to him...some hero!🙄
I also felt like the story was all over the place. They trust Sully, they don’t, they do and repeat. In one sentence, they suspect him, and then say that it’s his mission and he should be able to handle it how he wants to?!? Then the issue with the money. She tells Rye when she gets to Florida that it’s missing and she’s been cleared, yet later when meeting with Silas she ask.... “We’re concerned about the money.” “What money?” she asked, and right after that ““I know that.” Silas smiled. “You took a polygraph test and passed with flying colors.” “Then why are we here? Has the money not been recovered?” Hmmmm if he’s asking where it is, it’s NOT been recovered.
I just didn’t connect with any part of it. Like I said though, I’ve really enjoyed the other books in this series, just not this one but I will continue with the next book.

Rye, former SEAL, is living a life of peaceful bliss on the beach until his past comes back to haunt him. Rye’s former SEAL team was ambushed while serving in Afghanistan, killing his team. Seeking revenge, Rye goes rogue killing the man second in charge to the man who ordered the ambush. Nearly sent to prison, he’s rescued by the testimony of Crash and Harper. When Crash approaches Rye with the opportunity to capture, kill the man responsible for killing his team, Rye accepts the mission. Although he’s not too happy to be working with Harper again.
Harper, CIA Communications Specialist, has devoted her life to the government. Harper has spent her time searching for the men responsible for the deaths of the SEAL team, never leaving Afghanistan. At one time, Harper dreamed of the possibility of a future with Rye. Now she’s just trying to prove to him he can trust her. She knows that he thinks she’s the “leak” that caused the deaths of his men as she was in charge of communications the night his team was ambushed.
Although I thoroughly enjoyed this novel, I thought the beginning was a little confusing and had to re-read it. I didn’t realize Crash and Silas were the same person. I did enjoy the storyline though. It was fast-paced, action-packed, and suspenseful. I would’ve liked to have seen more of a connection with Rye and his new SEAL team. They idolized him and did as commanded, but they didn’t seem to be a cohesive unit. I hope to see Rye & Harper in other Silver SEALs novels. They’ve all been worth the read! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
This is another exciting book in the Silver SEALs multi author series with The going back to Afghanistan to solve the mystery who got his whole unit ambushed to years ago and if Harper, a CIA agent had any involvement. He cared deeply about her and she was over seeing their mission on monitors. He accepted the assignment offered by Crash and his Bone Frog unit and left his retirement getaway on the Florida beach but he needed closure. Harper never came home and stayed to try to track down the remaining terrorists that killed Rye's SEAL unit and to figure out what went wrong under her watchful eye. It was exciting non stop action as they took down the remaining terrorists by Rye with the help from three retired navy SEALs that agreed to help him. Harper and Rye fell back in love and worked together to get the traitors that killed Rye unit and apparently stole the random money that was at the compound. Two CIA agents had been captured and they rescued them without using this money but it turned up missing. It was so romantic as Harper and Rye worked together after they got stateside to help Crash, and the Bone Frog unit recover the money and find out and apprehend the dirty SEALs that took it and caused Rye's unit to be killed. This is such an amazing series and I cannot wait to read the next release of the Silver SEALs series. It was so romantic as Harper and Rye got their happily ever after in the end.
This is a great book of ex-lovers to enemies to back to lovers again. Rye and Harper were lovers before his team was ambushed and Rye lost his whole team. He blamed Harper because she was supposed to be in their ears feeding the with her intel. She didn't realize anything was wrong until it was too late because someone messed with all the equipment. Now Rye has a chance to go back to the sandbox to get the one responsible for taking out his team but he has to work with Harper again and he doesn't trust her. While he is there he takes the opportunity to go rescue two hostages that Sully is being flippant about rescuing. Then he completes kills the leader of the Taliban in that area even though it was not his mission. The one he was after then attacks their compound while most everyone is sleeping and hold Harper hostage for the millions that is supposed to be there plus the millions that was supposed to be paid for the hostages. Rye and his team are able to save Harper and he kill Qamar which was his original mission. Rye goes back home and Harper stays to salvage any intel that she can and then destroy everything that is left. When they have to work together again in the states to track down missing millions and everyone suspects Sully but not sure who else was involved. Will they be able to find who else is involved and will they find the money?
I have come to love this series about former Navy SEALs brought back to work special missions for a unique group in the DHS. This group is lead by a well respected former SEAL commander. This time the “tag you are it” goes to Rye Ellison. A man who dedicated 25 years of his life to the Navy. A life that was marred when he almost ended up being court martial after losing his Team in because of bad intel. He is back in Afghanistan to redeem himself and get rid of one of the worse terrorist in existence. The downside is he’ll have to work with the woman he once saw a future with but in the ended turned against him. Or so he thought. Can they trust each other to survive a mission that is full of “holes” ? Will they find their HEA in the middle of this turmoil? It’s a story that’s action packed, full of bad guys, hunky good ones , bullets and complex characters in Harper and Rye. Can’t wait to see read more stories in this series. I was gifted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Rye Ellison is a retired Navy SEAL commander who lost his SEAL team and was injured. He returned to action for 5 years with a new team. He would prefer to retire quietly on the beach but then the commander of the Bone Frog division of Homeland Security comes to see him with an offer he can't pass up. He wants to but curiosity leads him to rethink his position.
He takes the job but he doesn't trust easily because someone got his team killed and he can't afford to trust anyone. Not even the woman who is the CIA asset he once had a thing for can be trusted. So many secrets.
This story is full of action and one heck of a domineering alpha male badass retired SEAL. There are a few surprises and plot twists along the way. Ms. Foster writes strong characters as well as a strong plot line. This story didn't seem to have ties to any series she writes and to me that's a good thing because sometimes it can be confusing.
I will look for other books by this author. This series is terrific and a great introduction to authors new to me.
Sign, SEAL and Deliver is another excellent installment in the Silver SEAL series. Geei Foster has created a story that has suspense, intrigue and romance centered around the near annihilation of entire SEAL team on an ill fated op in Afghanistan. The lone survivor, Cmdr Rye Ellison, leads a Bone Frog Command team back into Afghanistan in an off the books op to finally get answers. Knowing who and what to trust will be his biggest challenge.
I loved Rye. He's one tough SOB who is willing to think ourside the box, bend if throw away the rulebook and go with his gut to get his mission accomplished. He's had years of remorse and dwelt in sorrow over the loss of his team. Harper Woods know remorse and has been unrelenting in the pursuit of the truth. Rekindling the feelings they had for one another may not be possible if they can't reestablish trust or reveal their secrets to one another.
A few twists in this well written intense story of a mission that went wrong and the reasons never got solved. After retiring and moving to his secluded cabin to re-charge and to try to forget his loss, Rhy has heard of what the Bone Frogs are doing but wants no part in it, until the past comes back to haunt him. Action, intrigue and bad guys galore keep this from stalling or being in any possible way a slow read, I whizzed through the pages. A great addition to the series which I've followed throughout, exciting and suspenseful and sometimes edge of your seat, it shows just how important trust is to these teams because it is their lives on the line at the end of the mission. A wonderful story loved it.
WOW! This was an intense story! The beginning was totally heartwrenching! Rye's team was totally alienated except for him. He retired after the Navy accused him of this horror. He had a trust with Harper before the disaster had happened. The was exonerated but he still felt responsible for his men. He even blamed Harper at one point. So when Silas enticed Rye with getting revenge, he jumped at the chance. Once the terrorists were taken care of, he went back into retirement and Harper followed him. Silas wasn't done with them as they had to find the money. Once that was taken care of, these two worked on their happily ever after. FANTASTIC job Geri! I would recommend this book.
Annoying that main character had inconsistent behavior
The main character changed constantly between being distrustful and angry one second to being warm and loving the next. I was left feeling confused about what kept changing his mind. This inconsistent, confusing behavior left me not trusting the writer and not liking the main character. How can a guy yell and accuse a woman who has lied to him of betraying him and then walk over to her with “warm” eyes and rub her knees? What the hell? I was first mad on his behalf then angry that he abandoned his rage. Geez. I’ve no idea what the writer was thinking...
Sign SEAL and Deliver by Geri Foster was an enjoyable read. It has suspense, mystery, danger and maybe a second chance. Rye Ellison a retired Navy SEAL Commander all he wants is to kick back and relax until the Department of Homeland Security comes calling. He is offered the opportunity he can't refuse but it also involves a CIA asset Harper Chandler a woman he isn't to0 happy to see. This is the start of a story with plenty of twists and turns that will definitely keep you turning the pages. I recommend this story.
This one was was about betrayal. His team had been destroyed on a mission gone wrong. Now after he had healed and eventually retired he is given an opportunity to get answers about the mission. He is sent back but now two people who were there then is once again there. He must do his mission and find out who the traitor/s were back then. She is still in the field. Not leaving except for training. They had a bond that was broken by the down fall of his team. Will they get answers? Will they get their own second chance?
Sign, Seal, and Deliver: Loved the suspense and the chemistry between Rhy and Harper. Loved the push and pull they have and the sparks that fly between them. It was wonderful writing and storytelling. This was a great addition in the series of the Silver Seals. Love the cover and the strong characters throughout the book. Geri Foster came up with a great title for the perfect couple and seals. Love how even with age the men and women and still do their jobs. Great job!
How can a seal turn on his brothers? It destroys everyone. Everyone gets caught eventually. Trust is everything. Harper’s loyalty to her job and on as needed basis almost cost her her true love. At least she and Rye got the family they both deserved . This book had some of the most suspense, action and twists and turns of any book in the series.
Another amazing book in an amazing series, I understand this is fiction but it's so terrible that things like this really do happen, truth and justice wins in the end and Rye and Harper gets their happily ever after and a baby to seal the deal, thank you for continuing this, Dana
Another wonderful book. This book was an insight into how dangerous people can be for the almighty dollar. Finding out that a team of SEALs died because of money was horrible. Making the people who were responsible pay was fantastic.
Good book. Both the H and h were likeable characters. Great supporting cast as well. Unfortunately, I was able to figure out the entire story, twist and turns included, so the climax and resolution were a bit of a let down.
This is a great series. The stories keep getting better and better. It is suspenseful and full of action. A mission gone wrong. Betrayal, murder and revenge. Can Rye trust Harper long enough to get to the truth?
Wow! This book truly had it all, a hot romance, a big alpha male, a very smart, determined female all wrapped around a huge mystery that continued through to the very end. Oh there is also a sweet surprise at the very, very end. Whew! So good!
Another good addition to the Silver Seals. Love reading all the stories especially the authors I've never read before. Read this excellent book and enjoy the series.
Didn’t like it as much as I’d like the other ones. The storyline was great but the beginning was drawn out and felt like there was a lot of repetition.
