Luke is an unsung hero of feminine psychology and development. From how women, as agents of flow create and stir in their own unprescribed ways, this is a wellspring of depth for any woman. Luke elaborates on perspectives never touched upon within the topics of focus, and provides an in depth, redeeming analysis of Woman and her relationships and associations throughout time. This book is essential and has further bolstered my grasp of the feminine within the unconscious as well as my understanding of my own anima, beyond other numerous books that i've read on the topic. Some Jungian writers have that way about them, where they can deliberately yet covertly enchant the reader/analyst/analysand/passerby and spit them out with a greater adoration and empathy for their own soul. Luke serves up the soul in this one.

A short review of some of the myths involving women - Demeter and Persephone, Rumplstilskin, and their relation to not only feminist thought bu Christian thought with a liberal dose of Jungian philosphy.
