Bellino davvero. Frizzante e sexy. Corto e non lascia in sospeso! Non ci son drammi, ne problemi! Un libro scritto per farti rilassare!
Piper è una giovane donna che, leggendo un libro lasciato da sua nonna negli scatoloni di casa, decide di trovare un uomo per sposarsi e finalmente mettere su famiglia. Ma la sola cosa che riesce a fare è scontrarsi con un suo cliente molto esigente che oltre ad essere fidanzatissimo da 6 anni, non vuole impegnarsi ed ogni scusa è buona. Tra una miriade di dolci e scene di gelosia scaturita da un'attrazione reciproca immediate, la coppia scoppiata del Mississipi, riuscirà a decidere che fare della propria vita??? Lo zampino della nonna e il suo stratagemma di vendita funzioneranno?
Ho letto questo libricino in pochissime ore, e mi son divertita da matti. Certe scene sono cliché ma valgono la pena di essere lette. I personaggi sono divertenti, decisi e indecisi nello stesso tempo, sexy, si stuzzicano ad ogni occasione. Non ti lasciano respirare! E' quello che cerco in un libro estivo. Divertimento e amore. E tutte e due le richieste son decisamente ricompensate da questa lettura! Consigliatissimo a tutti quelli che vogliono ridere sotto l'ombrellone!
Non vedo nessun lato negativo in questa lettura ad essere sincera dunque il massimo del voto, lo metto con molto piacere. E di sicuro leggerò altri libri della signora Bond e dalla signora Kenner.

Davvero carino, molto stile commedia americana! ;) Il primo incontro tra Piper e Ian è all'insegna degli scivoloni, tra pioggia e caviglie slogate e non mancano altri momenti decisamente imbarazzanti, come l'allergia per il cioccolato di Piper e l'adorazione del cioccolato del suo cliente XD Ian doveva fermarsi in quella cittadina solo pochi giorni ma rimane subito colpito dalla capo nutrizionista incaricata di preparargli il dolce perfetto...peccato che a casa l'aspetti una potenziale fidanzata che gli ha già infilato un anello-ghigliottina al dito ahahah XD La storia scorre via vivacemente, peccato per il finale decisamente troppo affrettato ma considerando la lunghezza della storia c'era da aspettarselo ç__ç

I read this book just to get a Mississippi book in the 50 states challenge, and it was relatively short. I hated the whole thing though. He was engaged to someone else the entire book, and then there was nothing but miscommunication the entire time on both sides about motives and assumptions. They knew each other for exactly one week, and then all of a sudden they get married? omg it was so bad and made zero sense. Do not recommend.

Enjoyed!! Love that Stephanie Bond always mixes humor and interesting occupations with her characters, makes reading her stories great, Piper and Ian's story was wonderful.
