Keep the light on
Book one was a slow build up of mystery, terror, insanity, and horror that left you exhausted and on edge. Book two is a rollercoaster ride of pure terror. You get a glimpse of true evil and true despair. Still despite there are surprises of courage and fortitude against incredible odds.

Another awesome book by Patrick Delaney!! The story continues to twist and turn! The different characters and paranormal/crazy world is forever intriguing! Strong Silent hill vibes for those who enjoy that! I’m dying for book 3!!

Sinister, yet creative and creepy with great character building. Book 2 of the series did not disappoint.
After having returned to the real world, Cathy, Brian, Addison, Bill and Jamie realize that Shawn didn’t make it back. Addison and Bill are determined to go get him. Meanwhile, the group learns who Addison truly is and who he works for. Back in Dante’s Town, Shawn finds and saves Victoria. She seems shocked with the residents of the town, but somehow not as much as she should. Who is she really and will his friends get to them before the townies do?

Wicked world
Amazing can't begin to tell you what a wonderful book. Creatures so awesome and creepy. A world of endless city and characters so real you feel their pain and joy. I can't remember ever being so engrossed in a book. Excellent!

Awesome story
Read it. Yes the reviews are mixed. Yes, the writing is sometimes a bit sloppy. But the story, the story is incredible! I've read a lot worse and gotten a lot less out of it. Honestly, I'm impressed as hell.

This book went much quicker than the first one as the characters and their backstories were already established. What I enjoyed most is that it answered so many questions lingering from the first book but still left plenty of mysteries to warrant a third book. I loved getting to know more about Dante although he is still a huge unknown. Getting to see the author's vision of the Collectors on the cover was a huge bonus. If you've read the first book, you will definitely want to and enjoy reading this one.
