This is a must read book! It is on my list to re-read over and over. Ms. Oak does it again with a fabulous book. In Siren Unleashed, she's touching upon touchy subjects. There are slaves, human trafficking, a cutter, fucked up women and some "broken" men. The focus is on Chase and Ben Dawson who are hot Navy SEAL twins. Be still my rapidly beating heart.

Natalie grew up in the D/s world, with her parents as prominent lifestylers. Kidnapped and tortured, what Natalie used to love has been twisted into something bad. It's sad when something good is turned into bad. Natalie finds a way to deal with it through cutting. Side note - as a former cutter, I can completely understand her need to cut. I was never as bad as Natalie is in this book, but I can attest to the physical pain from cutting to help me deal with things.

The Dawson twins are delicious. I agree with Natalie that Chase is the intriguing one. This is not to say that Ben is not interesting, just that Chase is the Dom for me too. He's presented as "broken" here. He's kind of broken but not really. It's more fear of what may happen which causes him to isolate himself. The way Ben and Chase interact with each other is funny and bittersweet at times. I can see from both their points of view and it makes my heart bleed for them. Natalie is perfect for them. The reader is once again treated to a sense of community where there is no judgment and a wonderful belonging feeling. Love it!

The usual cast of characters make guest appearances and I love it. It's always good to see Julian. All these hot male Doms plus smexy switches makes me green with envy. I wish it was were so in real life. The BDSM in this is more D/s than anything else. It's light BDSM and enjoyable. Showing the darker side of BDSM and possible pitfalls were well done. Ms. Oak does another bang up job writing a hot BDSM romance. I highly recommend this to kinky menage lovers who enjoy UberDoms and suspense.

This was book 7 in the "Texas Sirens" series. This was a really good read. Natalie "Nat" Buchanan has been through a lot she was drugged kidnapped and beaten by sadistic man who was going to sell her until she killed him, she was held with two other women Kitten and Gretchen. Its been 4 years and in that time she has worked at a spa that Julian built for Dani. Nat is a massage therapist and when a man dies on her table Julian sends the twins in to find out what happened. Ben and Chase Dawson are former ex navy Seals who work for Julian although they are just has wealthy as he is. Ben is in Bliss meeting with a man who wants to be Kittens new master. Chase is bored with life he needs a challenge so he heads to Willow Fork, Texas the small town that Jack's ranch is in. This was a good read and when their little sister Georgia shows up she is a hot mess her father has cut her off and she knows that its time for her to grow up and get a job. Logan Green comes along with Kitten to help. There was a lot going on at the spa and in the small town of Willow Fork turns out the guy that died Stan was given a hotshot of heroin. When Chase goes to the dungeon Gabby who run the spa ask him if he wants to spank Nat when he sees her he knows that he wants her. Nat was in the lifestyle before she was kidnapped but she hasn't returned to it she grew up in it her parents are in a D/s's relationship. When Ben goes to the club he meets a woman who wants to have sex and after the deed is done Chase walks in and Nat is confused she didn't realize that Chase had a twin and one brother spanked her and held her why she cried and she had sex with the other one. Both twins want her and they know that she is the one for them, but Nat isn't sure she can handle a D/s relationship with one Dom let alone two. Ben and Chase have been looking for love their whole lives their mother left them to be raised by an absent father who put them out and cut them off at 18 so they went into the Navy each becoming Seals Ben was on the same team with Leo and he and Leo were having sex with the same woman who Ben thought he was in love with until she died Ben is the happy twin who everyone loves. Chase has never been in love and while they were in the Seals they were separated he didn't handle it too well he is moody and very direct with people. I was so happy that they twins found someone to love them both. This was a really good read this book was well written and the narrators did a good job. I am looking forward to reading and listening to more books in this series and the book with Logan and Georgia.

OMG I loved this book! It was full of awesome, covered in awesome sauce and had a slice of awesome on the side!

In previous books I did not like Kitten and thought I had no interest in her story. This book gave her back story and had her grow by leaps and bounds! Now I can not wait for her book.

Logan and Hurricane Georgia are another pair I can not wait to read about! I hope the story happens in Bliss not in NYC. Can not wait to meet Seth!

There were also several new characters I can not wait to get stories from mainly the other Dawson brothers! They are sure to be wicked!

It might also be nice to have a couple side books that tell the back stories of the folks at the Spa. Would love to hear about Gaby and Cal!(Unless that was already out there and I forgot...yup, they are the couple in Away From Me! How could I have forgotten I loved that book!)

Another great book and now I have to bid time for the others in the series! My bad for devouring it so quickly!

Oh and I love little Josh and hope to someday in the distant future read his and Chloe's story! Julian and Jackson have their hand full there!

I think I might have just met my new favorite character from Lexi Blake.

Chase Dawson was anti-social, broody, compassionate, bossy perfection.

And even though physically there were two of him, and I really liked Ben too, Chase was amazing.

Leading lady Natalie had been through hell and managed to save herself. That made her pretty bada** in my opinion, but she also came out of the ordeal with a lot of mental and physical scars.

This whole story was a page-turner that had me fully invested in and loving the characters, but also loving the plot and hooked into the storyline.

I loved the suspense and action. The ending especially had things so revved up that I couldn't put the book down until I'd finished the last 30%.

I cannot wait for more books in this and the Bliss series. I love how these characters keep featuring or being mentioned in all the different books and it has me eager for whatever comes next.

𝗦𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 by Lexi Blake, writing as Sophie Oak, was such a great read! It was emotional, powerful, bold, and SEXY as all get out! I had so much fun falling in love with Ben and Chase Dawson for the second time, and Natalie was just as strong as I remember. I recall book 7 in the 𝑻𝒆𝒙𝒂𝒔 𝑺𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒔 series being one of my favorite ménage reads from this author, and that holds true today. If you’re looking for a mouthwatering erotic romance that brings you all of the feels...and more, look no further! This will surely satisfy your craving for a beautiful happily ever after.

4 STARS!!

What a great book for Christmas. Kiddin' LOL! I already set my paws to Dawson twins. Their first appearance really intrigued in every way. I have feeling they will have their own story and both of them are really big bad Dom. Like all the males in this series, Ben Dawson is the muscle when Chase Dawson is the brain. I have soft spot for nerd and it's for Chase. I wouldn't mind in their sandwich ;)

Natalie is really in big trouble when she found her client died in her massage room. She work at Julian Lodge's spa therapy in Willow Fork under his watch. She's a victim from abusive man along with Kitten Taylor. Dawson twins has new mission to investigate a murder in Lodge's property. They already in bad terms because what happened to Chase in the previous book but they'll never neglect job. When Natalie's trying to figure out her future, she decide want to play again with a Dom to let her fear go and moving on.

It's funny when Natalie didn't know they're twins. It's kind of stupid when she didn't wanna know her Dom's name so things get tangled. Of course, Natalie didn't deny the chemistry between her and the twins. Natalie is kinda different from other heroine. She's already in the BDSM lifestyle from very young but her tragedy made her distanced herself with man. I liked how strong and determined Natalie when she decide to be brave with the twins. My issue with Natalie only she's too naive. She believe everyone's good.

The twins is somehow stupid but funny. They have banter towards each other but when it comes to Natalie they changed. Ben and Chase already in danger for separation because some misunderstanding and lack of communication. Ben is supposed to be the flirty one and Chase is the big bad Dom with dark aura. I found Chase is the silly one although he rarely smile but he has dry humor and nude fetish. Sometimes they argue with unnecessary things. I enjoyed how their handle BDSM scenes with Natalie and their sexy times was really HOT. They're very patient with her. They cared and adorably possessive towards Natalie.

There are some minor characters made more appearance. I noticed Logan Green from Meyer's book and deeply interested with his story. And them come along, Georgia Dawson; the twins' sister. I'm curious how Logan will handle the brat. I enjoyed Georgia's presence because she's like a firecracker. Kitten also has great progress for herself. She's in more control and that's very amazing. I kinda liked Natalie when she's back on her bratty mode. Sometimes it's quite stressful and hurt how Natalie still thinking about her crisis. She wanna enjoy BDSM lifestyle again but luckily Dawson twins are the Dom she need. Siren Unleashed is the greatest read from this series! I love how nerd, funny, silly and somehow-romantic the twins. I think I enjoyed this book more than the previous because both of them are alpha and dominant ;D

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Sophie Oak. There is no other author that writes quite like her. Her books have me LOL and falling in love with the characters at the same time. She writes the best menage books that I have read. I look forward to each and everyone of her new releases and her books continue to be in my keeper pile to be reread. I am such a HUGE fan.

Siren Unleashed was an AWESOME addition to an AWESOME series!! I cannot wait for the next one. I absolutely loved Chase and Ben and Natalie. Chase *sigh* I cannot wait for Logan's story as well as Kitten's. They are going to be so good!!! :)

Something about Sophie Oak's books (both Texas Sirens and Bliss) remind me of a screwball comedy from the '40s. Kitten is absolutely hilarious and steals every scene she's in. Georgia is adorably funny. Many of the characters have interactions so wacky and strange that they don't seem to exist in the same real world the rest of us do. This is great, because it adds a lot of levity to balance out the heaviness of the story.

Massage therapist Natalie is trying to rebuild her life after killing her captor while escaping from sexual slavery with fellow slaves Kitten and Gretchen. However, when one of her clients is murdered on her massage table, she becomes the prime suspect, prompting her boss to bring in investigators Ben and Chase Dawson.

Natalie is struggling with integrating back into society, trying to figure out if BDSM is something she's honestly interested in, and mostly avoiding relationships with other people because she feels broken. The depth and feelings of her struggle contrast with the slapstick nature of a lot of the book, but they work together in a great way.

I really enjoyed this book. It was fun (several laugh out loud moments), the characters quirky (causing even more laugh out loud moments), the BDSM was well integrated into the story and felt realistic and the plot was interesting - if not terribly original. I did not take away anything for the less than original basic plot, because in my opinion this author does amazing things with well used plot lines making them feel fresh and new. I just can't quite give 5 full stars, because I felt the middle of the story bogged down a bit with repetitive internal self affirmations - or self pep talks if you will. Thank goodness there was no talk of inner-goddesses, but there were moments that felt just a bit too close for my taste.

Yes, I feel I'm being rather picky about this, but there was a point when I was having an easy time laying the book down - from around 40% to 60% is my estimate - until the action picked up again. On the positive side, there is a very nice and even evolution of the protagonists' relationship. I did not doubt the love between them and their HEA is very satisfying. To be honest, this particular threesome may be my favorite of all the Sophie Oak Siren and Bliss menages so far. Chase is delightfully frustrating and nerdy, Ben solid and loyal, and Natalie truly feels worthy of the two drool worthy twins.

There was a point at which - through misunderstanding and some errors in judgement - the relationship is sorely tested. Yet, without too much wallowing (I admit wanting to smack Chase for a moment or two - but I got over it. ;P), all three stepped up to find their way again. For me, this is a real plus. I dislike stupid misunderstandings, this one wasn't stupid. I dislike when one person carries all the blame for having "failed" the other - that wasn't the case here either. I felt on firm ground with the BDSM aspects being clearly consensual, and it was very, very hot as well. ;)

A great addition to the Siren series and the Bliss characters make a few cameo appearances as well. 4 and 1/2 solid stars.

Siren Unleashed is Sophie Oak’s best book to date, and she has had some good ones. This one made me laugh out loud in some places and brought me to tears in others. It ended on a satisfying note with room left to discover more about some of the secondary characters.

Natalie Buchanan survived the vicious hell created by “Hawk” and killed the man who had tormented her, Kitten, and Gretchen. But she had not yet returned to living a full life when someone set her up as the prime suspect in a murder.

Chase and Ben Dawson agreed to Julian Lodge’s request to investigate the situation and protect Natalie. They knew what she had gone through, but neither of them was prepared for the impact the pink-haired woman would have on them. The twins share their feelings-quite literally-and both of them want Natalie to be theirs. But is Natalie really ready to deal with a D/s relationship again?

It is amazing that the author can create humor out of dramatic topics such as murder, drug dealing and white slavery without ever taking the serious subjects lightly. It is this ability that takes her writing way out of the ordinary BDSM book and onto a higher plane. It’s also what makes her books fun to read and savor.

There is really very little actual BDSM activity in this book although it is the main subject matter. There is some spanking, flogging, and bondage, but most of the sex scenes focus on the ménage rather than the BDSM aspect. However, the sex scenes are still hot and the rest of the book, including the mystery and adventure keep the reader turning the pages to see what happens.

Overall, Siren Unleashed is a very impressive book by an author who continues to become more of a favorite with each book.

This would've been a 3 star review except for two characters that bumped it up to 4 stars:

Chase Dawson - Genius, rude, socially awkward and hot Dom. I haven't loved a Sophie Oak hero this much since Max from Bliss book 1.

Josh Fleetwood-Barnes - Preschooler, blunt, going to be a Dom when he's all grown up and lucky CPS doesn't take him away from his parents for too much exposure to the BDSM lifestyle. The kid is hilarious and already lining up a third (another preschooler) for when he has a sub of his own. That' s just not right.

As for the plot, it was pretty good for erotica. But it was totally obvious from the beginning who the whodunnit was in regards to who killed Stan.

As for the BDSM, been there, read that. Most BDSM is written so that the sex is so mechanical and non-spontaneous.

Despite that, this book was funny with the usual quirky Sophie Oak secondary characters. And, oh yeah, Chase's twin brother Ben was the nice-guy to Chase's bastard. It makes it a well-rounded menage relationship: Chase the asshole Dom, Ben the sweet but equally perverted nice Dom and Natalie the wounded soul who will flourish under their love and bed play.

The quirky gang:

Kitten - yay! Kitten the doormat is getting a new, more permanent Dom who's wooing her and I see a Bliss book in her future

Cole - good luck keeping Kitten from wandering off naked in the Colorado mountains and freezing to death

Georgia - the girl needs a spanking

Logan - just the guy to give it to her one (once his tortured soul is ready for sexual healing) - Is his third James from Bliss or will it be techie millionaire Seth? I'd be okay with a foursome since Georgia is a handful

And how convenient is it that Ben and Chase Dawson have 3 badass Dom brothers for future Siren books?

Siren Unleashed is another emotional, funny, touching read by Sophie Oak. Twin detectives Ben and Chase Dawson are sent to Willow Fork by Julian Lodge to investigate a murder at the spa owned by his wife, Dani. The murder suspect is a massage therapist at the resort. She is a close friend of Kitten's, and is a unique woman to say the least.

The story is a Sherlock Holmes-type mystery, with Chase using his wits and Ben his charm to solve the murder. The secondary characters are hilarious, with Kitten and Logan playing a big role, and the introduction of Georgia, Ben and Chase Dawson's chaotic sister.

Appearances by Jack, Sam, Abby, and their kids make this book a really fun read.

I really loved this book. I love a strong heroine even when horrible things have happened to her. Natalie was fantastic. Chase and Ben are twins, identical in looks but very different personalities. Natalie is suspected of being involved in the death of her client. Ben and Chase are investigating the death and of course, fall head over heels for Natalie. I love how Natalie was able to hold her own over these two Doms. And of course, we have a couple of surprises throughout the book. I am really enjoying reading these updated books and reading them in order with the Bliss series. I enjoyed listening to the audio on this one. Both narrators did a great job.

Again M/F/M menage writing at its best. It's funny, it's sexy, a bit serious, it's crazy, all making it another must read for me. I pre-order these books and always hope that they will continue to give me a fun, sexy read. Siren Unleashed did not let me down. This is book # 7 in the series and the writing doesn't lose any of its lustre. If you haven't read any of these before start at Small Town Siren, book # 1, and work your way through. It is well worth it. Loved it.

REVIEW: SIREN UNLEASHED is the seventh instalment in Lexi Blake’s contemporary, adult TEXAS SIRENS erotic, BDSM , romance series focusing on the men and women of an upscale Dallas spa and resort known as The Club, which doubles as a BDSM club. This is twin detectives / Dominants Ben and Chase Dawson, and massage therapist / submissive Natalie Buchanan’s story line. SIREN UNLEASHED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for back story. Ben was first introduced in book six SIREN IN BLOOM; Chase was first introduced in book five SIREN IN WAITING. The Texas Sirens series is a spin-off from the author’s NIGHTS IN BLISS, COLORADO series.

NOTE: SIREN UNLEASHED is the re-release of the 2012 book authored by Sophie Oak aka Lexi Blake with new content. There is also a slight cross-over with the characters from the author’s Masters and Mercenaries series, and Nights in Bliss, Colorado.

WARNING: SIREN UNLEASHED contains scenes of M/F/M ménage, and BDSM sexual situations that may not be suitable for all readers. There is also reference to sexual slavery, abduction, torture and rape.

Told from several third person perspectives including Ben, Chase and Natalie SIREN UNLEASHED follows the Dom/sub relationship between twin detectives / Dominants Ben and Chase Dawson, and massage therapist / submissive Natalie Buchanan. Months earlier Natalie, along with two other submissives was kidnapped and held prisoner by a man who believed himself Master to their slaves. Healing but alone, Natalie now works as a massage therapist at The Club spa and resort, where her latest client is found murdered, and Natalie was the last to see him alive. Enter detectives and Dominants Ben and Chase Dawson, and the men with whom Natalie will fall in love. What ensues is the building sexual, Dom /sub, and love relationship between Ben, Chase and Natalie, and the search for the truth behind the murder of the self-proclaimed furniture king of East Texas.

Natalie struggles to move on from the past. Well versed in the world of BDSM and Dom/sub relationships Natalie battles the demons that continue to haunt her days and nights. Meeting detectives Ben and Chase Dawson stirs something deep within our story line heroine, something she long thought buried and dead. Ben and Chase Dawson, although identical twins, are as different as night and day when it comes to the need to Dominate and control. Bringing a broken submissive into their lives meant starting from the bottom up in an effort to help Natalie heal from the atrocities inflicted upon her very soul.

The relationship between Ben, Chase and Natalie is one of immediate attraction but a relationship based in Natalie’s need for control; to submit to a Master that is able to control the demons that continue to control her life. Ben Dawson is the more empathetic of the two brothers; Chase knows what Natalie needs, from the very start. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic, and intense. There are some scenes of spanking and light bondage.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including many of the previous story line couples and characters, Ben and Chase’s sister Georgia, as well as a number of the McKay –Taggart clan from Masters and Mercenaries.

SIREN UNLEASHED is a story of family, betrayal, vengeance and trust. The premise is sensitive and gripping; the romance is spicy and provocative; the characters are sassy and spirited but struggle with memories of the past. SIREN UNLEASHED is an intimate and edgy look at the recovery and acceptance; love and happily ever after.

I will add that at the time of reviewing, I had not read all of the previous instalments therefore I felt that I was missing some important information regarding Natalie’s prior history.

Natalie Buchanan came to Willow Fork looking for a new start. She needed a safe place to recover after escaping from a sadist who tortured her and two other submissives, keeping them locked in cages as sex slaves. Working at as a massage therapist in an exclusive resort has given her a safe place to live and work. But, when one of her clients is murdered and she becomes a suspect, Natalie finds herself fearing for her life again.

Private Detectives and Doms, Ben and Chase Dawson were sent to Willow Fork to both protect Natalie and to investigate the murder. What sounds like an easy case becomes extremely complicated quickly, however, when Ben and Chase both develop feelings for Natalie. Neither twin is willing to give up their claim, and Natalie’s horrifying experience at the hands of a sadist makes claiming her as theirs more difficult that they expected.

As their relationship is explored, more women are found missing and everyone fears that Natalie’s past has caught up with her. They’ll need to keep her safe while also helping her to heal and learn to love and trust in her submissiveness again.

Siren Unleashed was a thrilling step back into Willow Fork! I adored Ben and Chase. They really are two halves of a whole and I enjoyed watching how they really need one another to be happy in life. Natalie was also an amazing heroine. She was ridiculously strong to overcome her experiences and try to find her way back to the ife that makes her feel whole and happy . . . even when it was that life that caused her kidnapping.

We also get to spend some time with characters in upcoming books. I’m completely falling in love with Kitten, one of the women held with Natalie. I love watching her start to bloom and can’t wait to see how she fully reclaims her life. Fans of Bliss will also enjoy how much Logan is in this book. The Dawson’s sister, Georgia really gives him a run for his money and it’s fabulous! While they don’t have their HEA yet, I know it’s coming in a few books and it’s going to be explosive. With Georgia’s entrance, we start seeing the first signs of Logan truly coming back to life.

Siren Unleashed was thrilling with twists and turns . . . after all, their is a sadist on the loose looking to recapture what got away. It’s super steamy as Natalie reclaims her sexuality. There are also some really beautiful moments between characters, such as Kitten & Natalie, Ben & Chase, and even one spectacular gem of a conversation between Logan & Natalie.

All of Lexi Blake’s worlds collide in this book with characters from the Sirens, Bliss and Mckay-Taggart world coming together. Siren Unleashed is truly an epic tale. 5 stars.

Ex Navy SEALs Chase and Ben are identical twins with such a close bond that they can literally feel each other's feelings and can pretty much read each other's minds. Now they're both working as private investigators and for their latest job they've been hired by Julian Lodge to investigate a murder at one of the resorts he owns. The prime suspect is a massage therapist who was the last person seen with the victim but Julian has very good reasons to believe in her innocence and he's tasked Chase and Ben with not only finding the real murderer but also with keeping her safe.

Natalie's parents have always been in a D/s relationship so she grew up in the lifestyle and she used to take great pleasure in submitting. She always expected to one day find her own permanent Dom and settle down but her life was almost destroyed when she was kidnapped by a sadist who tortured and abused her. She managed to escape her prison but mentally she's never recovered from the experience and it's turned something she used to take comfort in into something that she's now terrified of. When one of her clients is murdered it takes her straight back into that awful place but as events spiral out of her control she has to find the courage to face her darkest fears.

I think Siren Unleashed was probably the darkest book in the series so far, it touches on some really difficult subjects like kidnap, abuse, people trafficking, and even self-harm as Natalie struggles to cope with her past experiences. You might think that would take away from this being a romance but I thought Lexi Blake did a brilliant job of getting the balance right. These serious topics were handled sensitively and I really appreciated the emphasis on abuse being totally different from BDSM, the major keyword in any BDSM relationship is CONSENSUAL so kidnap does not come anywhere close to falling into that bracket.

Although this story did have it's darker moments it's mainly focused on facing your fears and from Natalie's point of view it's about reclaiming your life back. Chase and Ben both had their own issues that complicate things at times but I absolutely loved the bond between them, the way they were always there for each other and that even when they disagreed with each other they were willing to work together to get what they wanted. These two probably come very close to being my favourite guys in the series and trust me that's really saying something because there have been so many characters I've fallen head over heels for! I also really liked Natalie, she had so much inner strength and I enjoyed seeing her overcome her fears and take what she wanted for once. I've said many times before that I'm totally hooked on these rereleases of Lexi's Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss series, previously published under the pen name Sophie Oak, and that definitely continues to be the case. I can't wait for more books in this world!

This is the 7th book in the Texas Sirens series and should be read in order.

I just loved this book. The crossover of characters was amazing. I knew in the last book, Siren in Bloom, that Kitten was a little crazy. We get to see a glimpse as to why she was that way. This brings in Nat. She went through the horrible trauma that Kitten did but came out of the horrific event so much different. Chase was the detached uncaring computer hottie that appeared to be the brute, the alpha Dom. The journey that he goes through and the feelings he develops was heart wrenching at times. Lexi Blake does such a good job at character development that you can truly feel what is happening in the book. The ups and downs, the roller coaster that the characters go through. I felt I was right along with them.

Two hot brothers, Chase and Ben, that share and complete each other. I can’t imagine what it would be like being a twin like them. It must be so different. I would love to be Nat though. To be in between those two would make my day. The way Chase makes her feel. How he builds her self-confidence is something that I would like to experience.

I always wondered what happened to Logan once he left Bliss, CO. You get some backstory of Logan in Found in Bliss. Siren Unleashed tells you more and then his story is in Back in Bliss. I can’t wait for that one.

Whenever a Lexi Blake story pops up on my kindle, I pretty much put other books aside to get my fix.  If I'm experiencing a reading slump,I know that a Lexi Blake book will fix it. And yet, there was a point, pretty early on in this book where I was concerned that a predictable path was being followed.   Of course, I really should have known better than to think that way, because Ms Blake did what she always does - surpassed my expectations.

This story is a delight.  Not just because of Ben, Chase and Natalie, but because of the other familiar characters who feature quite prominently.  Not only does that wider cast of characters add humour throughout, but they also help to join up plot threads and characters arcs quite nicely.

It goes without saying - this book is hot (even though I just said that).  But the spice doesn't detract from the overall delivery from the story.  It's simply an essential part of the narrative.  And you've got to love that - I certainly did!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

The start of this book was a little darker than I expected, but not in a bad way. I found I was invested in the female character from the beginning, as I related to her and her story...not because I have been in anything similar, but because it was written so well I felt like I was experiencing it with her. I liked the depth that Nat's past added to the story, and the different focus that it gave to the beginning of the story.

Ben, Chase and Nat were an enjoyable story. I had read this one before, when it was published under Sophie Oak, and this is updated but retains the feel of the original title that I read.

I have said this before, but for a menage story to work, you have to relate to all 3 characters and feel the affection and attraction with each of the characters. This one worked for me and I enjoyed it.

I recommend this title.

I'm so happy to have finally gotten Ben and Chase's HEA and it was definitely worthy of the dynamic duo. As much as I adored the romance and Natalie's story, I think my favorite part of the book was Ben and Chase's twin connection and learning more about the Dawsons. Now, I not only want Kitten's story, Logan, Georgia, and Seth's story, Josh and Chloe's story (I know they're babies, but how could I not want to see that through after the tease in the epilogue?!?) - I also NEED the story on the older 3 Dawson brothers! Is that already a thing - can someone PLEASE let me know? Meanwhile, I also really love how all of Lexi Blake's worlds blend in her books and I'm convinced now more than ever (especially after meeting the baby Tags) that I HAVE to start the Masters & Mercenaries series ASAP! 4 out of 5 wine glasses.

A LASR BEST BOOK!!

Kidnapped, caged and beaten…but not broken, not quite. This has been Natalie Buchanan’s reality for more months than she can count. Having been raised around the BDSM lifestyle her whole life lead her to search out her own Dom when she was ready. What she found instead was something so dark and sinister it almost took away her desire to live. If it hadn’t been for a certain Kitten and later the help of one very powerful Club owner, she might never have gained a second lease on life much less find the men who would bring her full circle and surround her with more love than she could fathom.

It would be a hard won HEA but, oh my goodness, I cried, laughed, cheered and rejoiced with every step towards the end of this fantastic story. Actually, I should change that to “the beginning” of an amazing love story. Everything Chase, Ben and Natalie go through from the first time they meet is leading up to when all three are able to firmly shove the past into its proper place and replace the nightmares with the possibilities and hope of a future together.

Do you get all gooey over the sexy brooding over-protective type of guy? I know I do. Let me introduce you to Chase Dawson. If you’ve ready most any of the last four or so Siren series books you’ve already met this hottie who has no mouth filter. He doesn’t think about what he’s going to say, he just says it and rarely, if ever, cares about who may be listening. He loves his twin brother, his computer, solving homicides and women. Those last two run a close race to tie for third place and sometimes his computer beats out his brother. Like any proper brooder, Chase has self-esteem issues. He and his brother put me in mind of a certain set of symbiotic Fae kings. Anyway, Chase’s issues don’t keep him from meeting and bedding plenty of lovely ladies but they keep him from making a real connection. That’s where having an identical wingman to tag team with comes in handy.

Speaking of the very sweet and sexy twin brother, Ben would be a candidate for sainthood if it wasn’t for the fact that he really enjoys spanking women. Ben Dawson is the epitome of longsuffering. You’ve met Chase already. Wait until you meet his sister, Georgia, you’ll understand. His gentle caring side made me sigh but it was his uber alpha maleness that left me panting. Ben is the charmer of the two. Given a few minutes, he could charm rain from a clear sky. Yeah, he’s that good.

Together Ben and Chase push Natalie to become the woman she was meant to be before she fell into Hawk’s cage. The imagery Ms. Oak paints into the story gave such a clear and concise depiction of how much both Natalie and Kitten suffered at the hands of this mad man.

When this epic adventure starts Natalie has already began taking baby steps to regain a piece of herself. Her brightly colored hair and strategic piercings may seem silly or frivolous to some but it’s clear they are wins for her because she made the decisions to alter herself in ways that made her visible. Hawk went out of his way to make the women he kidnapped believe that they were less than human and didn’t deserve to be noticed. I don’t know if Natalie made the connection of “Cotton Candy” pink hair with a cry to be seen as a viable human on purpose or if it was more of a subconscious move but it certainly caught the attention of two honest to goodness heroes.

I’ve come to the conclusion that author Sophie Oak must have been a Domme in another life. Few authors enjoy torturing their characters as much as she does. What’s more, she’s turned her fan girls into bratty begging subs who hang on every word of her books as she puts her heroes and heroines through the wringer. We can’t get enough of the stories that come from her world building no matter if they’re set in Bliss, CO, Dallas, TX or on a completely different paranormal plane of existence. I told someone recently it’s very much like a giant puzzle and every story she writes adds a few more pieces. It’s pretty incredible how she manages to shift and move from one series to another and yet it seems like one seamless story when they’re read in order, including the paranormal.

Something else Ms. Oak did, that is a total win in my book, is how she has taken two characters that could have very easily been relegated forever to secondary character status without ever realizing their story potential and built them up to be two of the most anticipated books of the series. Logan was a laid back naive young sheriff’s deputy when we first met him in Three To Ride. Kitten made her first appearance and a very real impression on readers in Siren in Bloom. Readers were there to witness Logan’s loss of innocence to some Russian mafia men but we only got small glimpses of Kitten’s back story. Hold on to your hats because you learn A LOT about who Kitten was and how she came to be in Siren Unleashed. We also meet Logan’s future heroine. He’s gonna need some help for sure. This isn’t their stories but, man, Ms. Oaks sets then up to be one more wild ride. I can’t wait.

Siren Unleashed is a stand-alone story but there are so many reoccurring characters from the other books, I would strongly recommend reading them in order. Don’t let the terrific number of books in the two main and one side series keep you from reading this one. It has easily become my favorite story so far and I’m so excited to see what she gives us next. I feel like Oliver Twist, “please, ma’am, may we have some more?”. Pick up this latest Siren adventure or start at the beginning with Small Town Siren and work your way through Texas, Colorado and beyond but just don’t miss the ride.

5 Star Review Siren Unleashed (Texas Sirens #7) by Sophie Oak
Each book in this series gets better and better. This time it is twin detectives Ben and Chase Dawson who will find their happily ever after, that is as long as they can keep the woman in question Natalie Buchanan alive.
I have been waiting for this book since the Dawson twins were first mentioned at The Club and were introduced into the series. I imagined that these two brothers when they could agree on something or someone, would be a powerful combination and one that would be hard to ignore and I was right.
There were times when I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry and I worried that Ben, Chase and Natalie would not be able to get the happily ever after that they all so richly deserved. I really enjoy Ms.Oak (Lexi Blake’s) style of writing and Siren Unleashed was one of those reads I could not put down.

This one really worked for me! I liked the characters and the way their story developed. My only regret is that I didn't find the list of the reading order between this and the Bliss series before - having more background would only make the stories better.

I listened to the audio of this with CJ Bloom and Ryan West narrating. As always, Ryan West was great and CJ Bloom was better in this one too.

I love Sophie Oak, and have enjoyed every single one of her books. I had a few favorites, but this one blew them all out of the water. I LOVE Chase. I want to rip him out of this book, and call him mine. He is beyond awesome. He's difficult, insanely smart, sarcastic, brutally honest, and doesn't give a flip what anyone thinks about him. Until of course he meets Natalie, and becomes a big old mushy pile of alpha sweetness. I felt bad for Ben. I liked Ben, and I saw the balance he could bring to Chase and Natalie's relationship, but he was definitely overshadowed by his big brother.

Natalie was a great heroine - and a perfect match for Chase and Ben. Once again, I loved seeing all the other characters I've come to love, Julian, and Jack Barns to name a few (oh and I so already want Jack's son to grow up so he can have his own book too!)

I loved seeing Kitten getting better, and I hope we will get a book about her soon. Oh, and Logan. I think you might give Chase a run for his money, I'm guessing his book will be next, and I cannot wait!

Siren Unleashed was one big ball of funny, sweet, hot awesomeness.

Winner!!!!!

Loved loved loved this book. My opinion is this is the best of the series. While not a dark romance read it still had disturbing elements that might be disturbing to some. The menage action is strictly mfm action and HAWT.

The story line is full of intrigue, twists & turns, and has that 'who done it' factor that kept me guessing throughout the whole story. The BDSM had S/M elements that are more of a mid intensity level but deliciously sinful. The thing that had me thinking this is the best of the series is that the author pushed the emotional/psychological depth of her characters more than I've ever seen her do before which made for a story that isn't as lighthearted or humorous as previous ones. It was deep, psychologically moving, yet still with the excitement that I have come to expect from this author.

Recommend this book. Heck yes, especially if you have read the previous books in this series. Ms. Oak really outdid herself with this one. It could be read as a standalone but I wouldn't recommend it as there are character and history that may be lost on the reader.

I love Sophie Oak's stories! My fav from this series had always been Siren in Waiting but this one is now a close second if not a tie for first. I've liked the twins as characters in previous books but wasn't truely invested in seeing where their story went but now I'm so glad that Sophie wrote this book. Now that I've finished Siren Unleashed I have to say the twins are two fine Alpha Doms and I'd love to be in Nat's position. :)

Sophie did a great job with this book. It had plenty of hilarious one liners that had me laughing out loud (literally). There were also plenty of touching/sweet/heartfelt moments that brought tears to my eyes and had me reaching for a tissue. You don't have to read the other books in the series to get in to this one but I'll always recommend Sophie Oak stories for an excellent read (both the Sirens and Bliss series). :) 2 thumbs up on this one for sure!!

I loved it. I love how it starts out with a little bit of the character past, Natalie past. I like stories where the characters have faced tragic outcomes and find happiness in the end. It was Hot, not a whole lot of sex. It would have been nicer if there was more. But the characters where Hot, especially Chase. I love how it was two identically twins it added humor to the story. The story was full of mystery and challenges where fought and won. The ending was great I loved how she finds herself, again after her tragic past of being kidnapped. I loved the twins and their story of how they all fit together to make each other stronger. My favorite scene was the twins having their way with Natalie. The twins where complete opposite and yet they read each other so well. It was a great story recommend it to anyone looking for a little mystery and brotherly love.
