What a fantastic story and we loved it from beginning to end. The story had amazing characters that we fell in love with right from the very beginning.
This was a story that you could say that opposites attract
not a damn thing in common other than liking kinky sex and a little BDSM thrown into the mix, but, they were super hot together in and out of bed. Holy Fireworks !
OMG ! We love Callie as she was nothing like we expected but, one thing was for sure, and she lived up to her name, Sharkey!
Callie we found to be beautiful inside and out, also kind ,compassionate, caring smart and witty and all kinds of feisty. We found her to be a lot of fun.
Sweet Pea we found to be guarded, dominate, possessive,protective and a little bit broken but, he also had a sense of humor.
Overall we loved the story as it had a bit of adventure and had great characters, and it was a lot of fun and refreshing and the story had us chuckling throughout the story the entire time. The chemistry between Sweet Pea and Callie was off the charts and made for a lot of hot and sexy scenes. We love that Callie was a little warrior as she called herself because we found her to be just that. We really enjoyed this love story and could not put it down once we started reading and it as it was a great addition to the Burning Saints MC Series and the author could not have created a better ending for this couple as it was absolute perfection!

Jack Davenport has done it again! This book sucks you in on page one and does not stop until the very end. Sweet Pea is the viking size Road Captain of the Burning Saints, he has his own demons to face and is not looking for anything permeant. Callie is an ambitious lawyers who has no idea what is in store for her after meeting Sweet Pea. Their chemistry is instant but will their love be able to last the events trying to tear them apart. This book will take you on a wild ride of love, passion, emotion and action. This is another 5 star read in an already amazing series!

This book is part of a series but you dont have to read the other book in order to read Sweet Pea but you will enjoy the book more if you know more of the back story.
Sweat Pea. A stubborn viking of a man. He has a heart of gold but is buried in a mass of muscles. I will take the right woman to dig it out. And lucky him for meeting that lovely lady.
Callie. is a smart woman with a sassy mouth. And knows what she wants and goes after what her hearts desires.
This couple is perfect for each other. And you are going to fall in love with them.
This story will take you on a ride of your life and you will want toa read more and more. Som MR Davenport my edvie to you is, write more. We want more.
Possitive with this author is that he is a man. Cudos to you my friend. You are awsome. One of my top10 authors.
The only thing i did not like was the BDSM parts. That is not my thing. I have trubble reading about them. This parts do not take up much of the story thank goodness..

The Viking and the Lawyer. *grin* Sweet Pea & Callie bond over many things, and I enjoyed watching their relationship progress. His heart is a little more guarded than hers, but she breaks through! We also get some very interesting progression in the Spiders story line (closure? I'm not sure what the timeline of the other books coming out soon in this universe will be).
Pea & Callie also have some very HOT steamy times going on. Their kinks match up very well. : )

The Burning Saints are among some of my favorite MC books of all time. And this book just shows why I fell in love with them! The complex characters, detailed back ground, unparalleled writing, and unexpected twists and turns of the story line kept me guessing and held my attention from page 1. It is definitely one of those books that you can't wait to find out what happens, but don't want the story to end, at the same time!
Sweet Pea is one of those characters that you love to hate at the beginning, but just can't get enough of by the end of the story. He comes across as a real jerk, but you slowly find, as the story progresses, that he is hiding a lifetime of hurt behind that attitude. He had a really rough life, until he found the Saints, and he knows they are his lifeline. He would do anything for them and they are his priority. Until he spots Callie, and he just can't stay away from her. Even when he tries, even when he knows he should, he just can't get her out of his mind! Callie is an assistant District Attorney, working on a very emotional case. When it's over, it sends her a little over the rails, and right into Sweet Pea's path. The connection between them is immediate, and explosive!
This book is emotional, with a healthy dash of laughter. I absolutely adored Callie and Sweet Pea. I just can't say enough how much I loved this book. At the heart of it all, it's about love, and family. It's about standing up for those that can't stand up for themselves, and standing up for what you believe in. It's about knowing who you are and staying true to yourself. Definitely a must read for MC lovers!

I fell in love with this MC from the start and Man who doesn't want to read a story about a Viking Biker... :-)
Sweet Pea didn't appeal to me much, but as you read his story, you find out that underneath all that Jerk attitude, there is someone who is hiding some really hurtful pasts. His past was not good, but when he found his brothers in the Burning Saints his life finally felt like it was coming together, and there was nothing he wouldn't do for his brothers.
Well then he lays eyes on Callie, a assistant District Attorney, who just lost a case that was freaking awfull. And now she's kind of spiraling after this case. And even though he wants to walk away from her, he can't seem to help the attraction he feels and wanting to get into he pants... lol
This book was not what i expected from Sweet Pea. I loved MC Books, and the fact that they are a society on their own with their own rules and their own dynamic. And this one was just that. Family above all else. Definitely some hot steamy scenes in here. From the start when they meet you kind of wondered how their chemistry would play out, not disappointed... Some really alpha male possessive, dominant tendencies coming out. Everything that you would want in a MC Romance, from the start to the finish!

So sweet. So scary. Such an amazing addition to the Burning Saints MC series. For those that haven't read the rest of the series, although it isn't necessary, I highly recommend reading them. They are very entertaining. They will also give you more insight into the tensions that surround the club.
This story is all about tension. Wolf is out to destroy the Portland area MCs. Wolf will stop at nothing to take control. Wolf wants Sweet Pea dead. He is blinded by his desire for revenge. Sweet Pea and the rest of the Burning Saints can feel the tension. It surrounds them at every turn.
Sweet Pea has avoided any and all relationships. The thought of if makes him tense. He escapes to the courtroom, watching and studying until the day he is confronted by Callie Ames, attorney after a court case goes bad. She has failed and wants Sweet Pea to help right a wrong. So much tension. Legal tension. Criminal tension. Sexual tension. Oh my word the sexual tension heats up the pages.
As tensions continue to rise in the club, Sweet Pea and Callie's relationship heats up. The author wrote some amazing sexual situations, things that I usually skip. I actually believed what was happening with the pages. I could picture them. I wanted to see the room, explore the toys. Their play time actually added to the story, not just filler. Oh my, the tension, carried through.

A lot if going on in Sweet Pea’s life, not only with his promotion but with his club in general as issues with a rival club come to a violent head and his instant attraction to Assistant District Attorney Callie Aimes whose passion for justice might just cost her, her career.
Both Sweet Pea and Callie burn white hot as they try to balance their lives, hearts and secrets whilst trying to stay safe. There is a lot of two and froing with Sweet Pea as he deals with his past and present, it is only through unforeseen circumstances that he admits his feelings for Callie. I also liked that Callie was so smart and quirky whilst trying to fight for justice of the downtrodden.
There is certainly a lot going on between these two characters with some exceptionally hot scenes. Characters from previous books make an appearance and we learn a little bit more about others. This is a fast paced MC read that anyone who likes this genre should give it a try.

Jack and Piper Davenport are the most amazing writing couples! Don’t remember when or how I stumbled onto their fantastic MC and friends world, but I’m ever so happy I did. Sweet Pea is Jack’s 4th Burning Saints MC book and a much anticipated addition to this fabulous series. Sweet Pea is someone that we got to meet in earlier books in this series and the mountain of a man makes an impression, no doubt about it. I love that we get to know more about this quiet giant, what makes him tick and what, or rather who, catches his heart. So pleased that the lady who gets his attention is also worthy of him. Callie is strong willed, fierce and loyal and together they are so perfect. This book is Jack Davenport at his best, exciting, at times violent...but necessary to the story...and out of bounds sexy. Love that we get to revisit old friends from all over the Davenport world, just makes these books even better! Loved Sweet Pea and can’t wait to experience the magic that Jack Davenport’s vivid imagination comes up with next.

I absolutely loved this latest book in the Burning Saints MC series!!! I was hooked from the very first page and hated to see it end. Sweet Pea didn't have an easy childhood....in fact it was horrific. He has to have control in every aspect of his life and that control got completely shattered when he encountered Callie. She is so good for Sweet Pea....she doesn't hold back and isn't afraid to tell him what is on her mind which is refreshing for Sweet Pea. He doesn't know what to make of the feelings she stirs in him but one thing he doesn't want to do is lose Callie. He will do whatever it takes to protect her from the swirling threats that are surrounding the club. Their story is full of sweet moments, very hot and steamy moments, suspense, danger, lol moments, and teary moments. I loved every aspect of their story and I highly recommend this book to all. I love this series and I can't wait to read the next book. Another fantastic book by this talented author...well done!!!!

A Viking and Sharkey, they made an unlikely duo, but it worked very well. Sweet Pea and Callie were about as opposite as could be. Callie is a lawyer in the DA’s office and Sweet Pea is a biker, but I loved how they clicked together. One of my favorites was some of the 80’s movies references.
I have been a fan of Jack Davenport’s work for a while now, also of his wife, Piper Davenport, too. Love how they are mixing characters from Piper’s Dog of Fire MC, and at least the mention of Harley Stone’s Dead Presidents MC (Love all these MC series). But you have to expect extra support with trouble brewing for the Burning Saints MC and Gresham Spiders. The Spiders is one nasty MC.
If you haven’t tried Jack’s Burning Saints, and you love MC romances, I would just like to ask... What are you waiting for? I highly recommend this book and the rest of this series.

An intense read, for me it just got a little bit like reading fifty shades of grey. I also hate it when some one says something like to tie her up! but do not in fact do that. Its a bit like Dean Winchester from Supernatural - He loves busty Asian beauties, he watches a lot of porn about Busy Asians but has never dated one ever in the shows! (Now to me that is just wrong). My fetish is leather, and there is no way in hell that i would not use anything else! So for me it was a let down on that department. There is a great plot, and romance, a little steamy in places but then again it cut quickly to end the scene half way through, so you can imagine getting steamy one minute-then having a drink of coffee in the next chapter! (wtf- where was the aftermath of the sex scene? Any way it was a good read none the less.

Sweet Pea is the MAN sigh. This book made me melt away on the spot. When Sweet Pea sets his eyes on Callie he is determined to make her his but didnt expect her to be such a spitfire. Callie is a very independent woman and at first is somewhat immune to his charm. Eventually they do become closer but Sweet Pea is worried about dragging Callie down and ends their growing relationship. When a horrible accident is nearly costing Pea his life Callie rushes to his side and does not give him an ultimatum because she is here to stay.
This is such a great series to read. I have been hooked since day one. I have a soft spot for Sweet Pea since the very beginning and always found his character intriguing. Once again another amazing book by Jack Davenport.

Another fantastic addition to the Burning Saints MC series. I didn’t think this series could get any better after Ropes, but I was wrong, this series just keeps getting better! This sounds like the beginning of a joke- the Viking and the lawyer walk into a bar... lol. Sweet Pea is an alpha male to the max, he has to be in control all of the time. When he meets the blonde bombshell of a lawyer his controlled world is flipped on it’s axis. Callie doesn’t pull punches or minces words and that is the perfect woman for Sweet Pea. There is drama, suspense, laugh out loud moments, moments that make you want to tear up and love. Will Sweet Pea let his walls down enough to let Callie in? I can’t wait for the next installment of this series!! I highly recommend this book!

You will laugh with the quick puns and learn that these two need each other more than they realize. Simple to the point another great book, so grab your copy and enjoy the ride.

This was my first Jack Davenport book and I really enjoyed it. It was a quick, easy read. Maybe a little too dialogue heavier than I like, but still really good. The sex was 🔥🔥 and both Sweet Pea and Called were enjoyable as characters. I tried this book because it was free, but it definitely won't be my last one.

Sweet Pea always had a thing about sitting in on trials at the courthouse from the time he was a teenager. Thus this is how they met, after a trial gone wrong that Callie was officiating. Once they hook up, there are many obstacles that they must overcome, from a break up, to club issues, to Callie quitting her current lawyer position, & Sweet Pea being hurt serious in a hit and run from an opposing MC Club. Will the two be able to get over all the issues and stay together? Hmmm?

Jack Davenport knocked it out of the park with the story of Sweet pea and Callie.
The biker and the DA, two people that you would never see together but they say opposites attract and the heart wants how it wants. This story was hot and sweet simultaneously.
I love that Jack Davenport paid homage to the cover model Joe Adams. I found myself reliving reading those awful moments all over again. This story made my heart pound as well as swoon. Callie and Pea are perfect for one another.

Well I really didn't see this story taking the turn it did, gosh scary there for a while. Suspenseful plot that does contain some violence and talk of rape though this isn't graphic or explicit so not enough to trigger anyone I wouldn't have thought. It is interesting and often intense but it also has some sweet moments and some hot. The main characters are easy to love and for Sweet pea after his early life I really had my hopes up that he would get his special someone. All this club wants to do is be legal but because of just one person it isn't easy. Great series I'm loving it.

Short and steamy
Loved this story. After getting tidbits of sweet peas story in his older brothers story ropes I was excited for this book. Poor sweet pea to be betrayed by those you are supposed to be able to trust above all else to protect you is disgusting. Loved him though. Yes he had his demons but he was a good guy and loved how he was into the bdsm scene. Callie was what appeared to be a buttons sup lawyer but appearances are deceiving. Loved how she was a spot fire and didn’t take shit from anyone. They were combustible together. Loved the ending.

This was an enjoyable read, but I felt a couple of things could have made it even better. I thought more would be made of the fact that Callie is a lawyer and that many times the Saints MC were (or at least used to be) on the wrong side of the law. Probably more important to me is the fact that Sweet Pea and Callie have a sexual relationship way too early. There is no build-up to it. A lot of the time these two are together, it's in a sexual situation, so we don't really get an in-depth look at Callie's personality. We simply know that she likes kids (hence working in law to try to protect them) and that she and Sweet Pea are good together in bed (or against the wall or over the couch, etc.).

Another page turner for Burning Saints MC series and Jack Davenport. In this case, a biker the size of Viking encounters an assistant DA after the end of a trial. This book is a standalone but is so much better when read in order, with many beloved characters appearing in each book of this series and several connected series. Between the books of Jack Davenport and Piper Davenport, you are treated to romance, friendship, hot steamy relationships (which evolve into friendship, respect, and love), and sinister events in the background which turn this into a page turner. Bravo!!

Sweet Pea and his Callie
This was so good. Once I started it, I stayed up until I finished it. A tough biker enjoys watching trials…likes to see the bad guys get what is deserved. He meets Callie, assistant DA, and so begins a romance. There is lots of action. Along the rocky romance path, a crash happens, a heart is delivered, and Trouble goes off half cocked. This one has lots of MC drama. It really is a good read. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger but there is a teaser for the next book. Enjoy!

Bikers!
I don't know any personally, but I think this is normal fare for the written genre. You have some hot, sexy, lovin' with a tall, burly, bad-@ss biker, who happens to enjoy rough B&D. Then there's some ongoing crime drama, because the whole series has an overarching backstory. I do need to say that the crime/murderous intent in this story was seriously warning worthy.
The loss of a star in the rating is due to a few annoying proofreading errors that I reported through the Kindle app.

This is a thrilling and exciting addition to the Burning Saints series, we found out a little bit about Sweet Pea in his brother Ropes' story and so here he is with his own, it tells how he meets Callie, a lawyer and how the conflict the Saints are having with an ex member and rival club are escalating.
I couldn't put this down it was so good and I actually read it in one sitting.
I received a copy, and I have also pre-ordered this book, and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion.
