Many people sincerely believe that all vaccines are safe, adverse reactions are rare, and no peer-reviewed scientific studies exist showing that vaccines can cause harm. This book — Miller's Review of Critical Vaccine Studies — provides the other side of the story that is not commonly told. It contains summaries of 400 important scientific papers to help parents and researchers enhance their understanding of vaccinations.
"This book should be required reading for every doctor, medical student and parent. Reading this book will allow you to make better choices when considering vaccination." — David Brownstein, MD
"This book is so precise and exciting in addressing the vaccine controversy that I read it in one evening. I recommend this book to any parent who has questions about vaccines and wants to be factually educated to make informed decisions." — Gabriel Cousens, MD
"Neil Miller's book is a tour de force and a clarion voice championing the cautionary ‘When in doubt, minimize risk.' Let's talk science. Read this book. The truth will keep you and your children protected."— Bradford S. Weeks, MD
"Nowhere else can one find such an organized and concise compilation of research on vaccines. Not only does Miller have a deep understanding of science and the issues at hand, he has made this book easy to reference and cite. Truly, there is no other guide out there quite like it. For everyone who contacts me in the future seeking scientific evidence about vaccines, I will recommend Miller's Review of Critical Vaccine Studies." — Toni Bark, MD, MHEM, LEED AP, previous Director of the pediatric ER at Michael Reese Hospital
"Miller's Review of Critical Vaccine Studies is the most comprehensive and coherent accumulation of peer-reviewed research on vaccine issues and natural immunity I have ever come across. A must read for parents, teachers, doctors and other healthcare providers." — Dr. Tyson Perez, pediatric chiropractor
Another compilation of bullshit for antivaxxers to copy and paste on social media and feel that they have done their "research" and educated themselves.
It's a great book to read if you enjoy headlines about children dying of preventable diseases.
Some of the title summary statements of the studies were slightly deceiving. (Eg, “Many pediatricians do not vaccinate their own children according to official records.” And then the details of the study show eight percent do not allow their children to receive all the vaccines and 34 percent deviate from the timing.)
However, I was still shocked at the amount of studies published in medical journals this book reviews that show very concerning side effects and outcomes as a result of vaccines. Some that are devastating.
This is an important read for everyone to help become better informed about the pros and cons of each vaccine.
First of all - Gary Miller has graduated in PSYCHOLOGY, not even medicine or anything related. The other author has graduated from COMPUTER SCIENCE. So on the cover stands a random man who just put on a white coat, stethoscope around the neck, wanting to look "smart" and "reliable". This book is again written by a man that has a "loud opinion." Also, if you looked a bit further from the title and his big writing on the book cover that says "400 studies" .... You could actually "discover" that the studies that he brings up as "proof" are not really proven or even scientific studies :) I have read the book, but not have opened every single "study" that he cites, obviously, but the ones I have opened up that he cites, are just some Reviews, and not really studies, so from a bunch of people that just have an opinion...... Just a test, open up a random page 381 with a random article that it cites as "proof": Title: "Associations Between Exposure to and Expression of Negative Opinions About Human Papillomavirus Vaccines on Social Media: An Observational Study" https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti... This is an "article" about Human Papillomavirus, but with a focus on keywords: "twitter messaging", "social media", "negative opinions" and "HPV vaccines". So are all the next ones that you open up, just studies based on opinions....... This is NOT SCIENCE you can call "proof" against vaccines, omg!!!!! This book is NOT a reliable source of information to form your opinion about vaccines.
This book should have been titled "Some Studies I Cherry-Picked To Showcase My Antivax Views While Deliberately Leaving Out The Vast Majority Of The Scientific Literature Which Validates The Safety And Efficacy Of Vaccination".
An unwieldy but far more accurate title.
Yes, Neil Z. Miller, a non-physician despite the deceptive photo on the book's cover (he's a guy who has claimed to communicate with extraterrestrials) admitted deliberately leaving out all studies supporting vaccines, which comprise a far greater portion of the scientific literature.
Beyond that, his "400 important scientific papers" include a variety of junk science and articles he's misinterpreted or exaggerated to suit his antivaccine agenda. Some of those papers were authored by the Geier father-son team of amateur "researchers". Mark Geier lost his medical licenses in multiple states after his use of a chemical castration drug to treat autistic boys came to light; his son was fined for practicing medicine without a license. The book also cites articles by notoriously antivaccine authors whose work was so bad, it earned them retractions by the journals that made the mistake of publishing their nonsense in the first place.
Miller's idea of "critical vaccine studies" also includes ones he co-authored with fellow antivax hack Gary Goldman. They're still cranking out bad papers, such as a recent attempt to link vaccination with infant mortality (hint: there is a link, only it's that vaccination _reduces_ infant mortality, opposite to what these guys allege).
Miller's book is prefaced by eight paragraphs of warnings/disclaimers. Among other things, he points out that it could contain errors, so readers are "urged" to verify all data and references themselves. Nice quality control, Neil! (it's actually a good idea to question Miller's "summaries"). Other warnings/disclaimers say that the book doesn't recommend for or against vaccines (suure, Neil) and that it isn't intended as medical or professional advice. Then why publish it in the first place? (this is similar to the Quack Miranda Warning that sellers of dubious medical supplements include in their ads).
As an alternative to wasting money on Miller's book, check out good sources of information with free links to independently conducted studies. They include the websites of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the vaccine information center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
This is an excellent source of information about the researches that expose what's wrong with vaccines. It doesn't mean that all vaccines are equal or not beneficial all the time. But it gives a better big pictures to be able to take a wise decision like not taking all the vaccine schedule, and delaying it for infants. Or maybe even skip the measles and influanza all together while getting extra dozes of victims A and D can help better.
Pharmaceutical companies don't create cures, they create customers. Vaccines are one of the primary ways of doing so. Few doctors ever question their patients about their vaccination history. If they did, they would likely see a link with many different health problems. I recently met a young man in his late 20's that developed severe blood clots in his abdomen, requiring emergency surgery. He also suddenly developed a scoliosis, along with severe back pain, and also suddenly became diabetic. He said he never had any health problems before. All of this happened a month after his second covid shot. None of his other doctors even mentioned that maybe the shot triggered all of this pathology. I have spoken to many people who have admitted that they just don't feel right after these shots. Many have family members and friends who have also struggled, some even tragically.
This is a book that should be read by everyone, especially now, as people are being coerced to take an unnecessary, experimental prophylactic treatment never used before in the history of this planet. It's no wonder that the excess mortality rate in most developed countries with high vaccine uptake has taken a steep rise soon after the inoculation campaign began, but even that is being blamed on covid. It's all quite brilliant from a business standpoint, but it seems that healthy, productive lives don't really matter anymore. On the bright side, this book will provide hope to those that read it, because he also summarises many studies that show that natural infections also help to prevent and cure cancer and that seasonal viruses are more a result of the shorter days between autumn and winter. The power that animates us can do some amazing things.
The doctors and mainstream media say only positive things about vaccines. But all medicines, including vaccines, have side effects. This book is one of the rare catalogs that show some info about the vaccine adverse events. So thumbs up for the book. Another excellent read is "Dissolving Illusions" by Dr. Suzanne Humphries and Roman Bystrianyk.
Research on various medical subjects can be time consuming. There is so much medical misinformation which is published by Big Pharma that it is difficult to know what to believe. Neil Miller has done the research work for us, and this book is a treasure trove of information on vaccines which have been conducted by those who wish to know the truth. Big Pharma pushes lies as truth and theories as scientific facts. This book is a must read for those who are seeking studies which are impartial and truly scientific, and these studies show us a pattern of deception in the medical community which is focused mainly on profits.
An impressive accomplishment in assembling together what genuine scientific methodology really has to say about so many dishonest and even malicious impositions.
