They have been taken by more than 50 award-winning photographers worldwide representing more than 20 countries. These 70 images form part of an annual exhibition at the Natural History Museum, London, that tours worldwide. Most were striking photos, but some didn't do it for me. The length people will go to for these photos! Some were poignant and some were creepy. I read most of the info but not all.

This is a book with outstanding photographs of wildlife, many of species rare and endangered. Often the photos are a result of days or weeks of preparation, and the images are worth seeing. Published in 2019.

Ok, so I didn't read all of this book, but I looked at all the photos, and read the accompanying text for many of them. Some of the photos didn't do anything for me at all, but some were so striking I had to sit and stare at them for a while, and they almost gave me shivers: particularly the Sumatran tiger and the American alligator. Gorgeous book, definitely worth checking out if you appreciate animals.
